  1. "An army is only as mighty as the weapons they poses. Your shamans may not like it, but dealings with the unscaled is the only way to bring the fight to our enemy." Gebulie breathed heavily from his nostrils. "My kind have fought many great battles. It is in our blood. I would not lead you astray."
  2.
  3. "So it is. The queen does not doubt your advice, just know it does cause strife." The lizardman licked his lips with his long, purple tongue. "We are happy you have provided to us your aid and wisdom, old dark one."
  4.
  5. "So it goes. Many fear change. That is the nature of progress. Take it from me; our kind was forced to adapt or perish. My brothers and sisters had to fight for generations to escape the their own destruction, only to be replanted into the world from the mother. In doing so we had to adjust from the old ways to the new. So is life."
  6.
  7. The lizardman bowed deeply, readjusting the large gold chain around his neck as he stood back up straight. "We thank you, Noble Gebulie."
  8.
  9. "You are wise beyond your years and your station, Sauriv. May the kingly head of the mother watch over all we do here."
  10.
  11. He lizardman turn and left. Gebulie blew another heavy breath through his nose and scoffed. "To think this would be my station. Yet it is not so bad. These lizardfolk may yet be able to succeed. To take back their homelands. Our war might be a success, and after that? Hahaha." The dragons snickered to itself, it's laughter beating off the rough walls of the dark, moist underground.
