Splatoon Fic Time

>story mode didn't show much so the story would still be okay for completely new audiences
>opener scene(s) give the mood of inkopolis life
>side character is a yebby who looks up to woomy
>mc woomy flops on bed after a long day of turf/ranked

>the near end of the world from OE happens and wakes her up, she goes outside and sees the killer wail against the statue, as she is near the coast
>a lot of people are outside, staring
>after the statue sinks, people begin going back inside
>next day near the grate where marie normally is there's a little banner obviously made by callie that says "Help Wanted"
>literally everyone normally in the square is not there because idols ohmaga
>mc woomy bloops in
>lines and lines of inklings
>callie, marie and sheldon are timing inklings going through one of the stages from the second game, see some coming through the kettles and hit the timer, shaking thier heads
>mc woomy and yebbyfriend are about to get in line when yebbyfriend notices a grate off to the side
>"oooooo it's a shortcut to the stage, what if we impress them and do it faster than the other inklings currently on it?"
>woomy's like k
>they go in

>it isn't to the stage
>it leads in a twisty turny pipe slide that is almost nauseating and bumps them around so hard that they are both knocked out
>they wake up in deepsea metro
>woken up by veemo agent 8
>they explain and ask for a way out
>agent 8 understands and says the way is tricky but they look like their "what is it, fresh?" and that they should be able to keep up
>veemo explains that the company down here is being dissasembled by the Squidbeak Splatoon, and that it's just a matter of climbing now

>escape phases from OE but there's very little enemies
>during what was the protecc the power core phase (now it's just a propeller that's there) yebbyfriend goes to get off the platform but trips and falls off of it entirely
>woomy mc is like we gotta get him
>yebbyfriend yells from the bottom that he's okay but then suddenly is cut off
>woomy mc and veemo jump down
>it's a bunch of hidden enemies
>they fight through them to find yebbyfriend
>woomy is big distress because yebbyfriend oh no
>veemo comforts woomy
>they find a hallway with cages
>yebbyfriend is ko in a cage, veemo forces the cage open to get yebby
>woomy notices some glowing light at the end of the hall and checks it out
>it's a big big computer
>nani the fuck
>looks like a human on the screen
>computer is running by itself
>beyond it are other hallways full of tanks where human like beings are "growing"

The rest of the movie would be about an AI similar to TarTar that has taken over the metro and is trying to recreate the human race to take over Inkopolis.
