  1. Fey and the Silver Dragon:
  2. Fey was an immensly powerful druidess who fell in love with a silver dragon.
  3.
  4. The dragon begged Loriesh, the Bound Lady: goddess of Love and Loyalty, to grant him the form of man so that he may be with his love. Loriesh demanded that he prove his love of Fey, and so he did. The dragon called on all his magic, and sung a poem of love to Fey for 9 days and 9 nights, raising verdant forests, sprawling rivers, and wondrous glades stretching many hundreds of miles from Fey's Wall to the coast beyond.
  5.
  6. So taxing was his effort that he forever lost all his magic. Loriesh, impressed and convinced, granted the dragon his wish. She granted the dragon the ability to take the form of man, and so he did. Fey and the dragon lived together for many decades in loving comfort among the mountains, forests, and glades. However, it was not long before men arrived and settled in the forests. They founded a place called Al-Saldeen, and it was not long before they learned that a dragon lived in the mountains. Terrified of the dragon, whether seemingly peaceful or not, they send 9 soldiers to the mountains under cover of night. The solders slew the dragon with 9 fell strikes of their blades. Fey, upon finding the grisley scene of her dead lover the next morning cried tears of silver into the waters of the mountains for 9 days and nights, one for each of the blows that struck down her love, before throwing herself from the mountains, unable to overcome her grief.
  7.
  8. The dragon's love tied his creation to Fey, and when she fell so did the verdant lands. Fey's spirit and the verdant lands were cast from Talmirith, and Falindos saw a perfect opportunity. Falindos, god of deception and hatred, brought Fey and her lands to his realm where he comforted Fey's spirit and made it one with the land. With Falindos' influence and Fey's grief, her spirit and land became infused with deception, trickery, and chaos, driven by the wanton emotion of Fey's tormented spirit. In time Fey's land gave birth to new life with the help of Falindos, called the Children of Fey.
