- Action PM stuff
- setup
- the night before
- play some trumpet
- this has been a sad day
- missing the ordeals, giovanni decapitating a little girl, jim's group trust thing fizzling out, april fukin mutilating a little girl,...
- a drink would be even better
- things to bring:
- wearing:
- Weighted-Knuckle Gloves
- HUD Glasses
- pillow case (these are the things in the case:)
- Caltrops
- Hammer
- Barbed-Wire Net
- Pencil and Paper
- (do they programs have something physical to carry around in order to use? if so, bring them)
- Stage Assistant (in pocket)
- Bowie Knife (x2) (concealed on person in his pocket, waistband, whatever)
- leave his trumpet and pillow in his room
- APPARENTLY, this is the plan:
- Enzo, Matthew, and Isabella will follow Ulricha and ambush her as soon as the grace period's over
- this is already where i think the plan goes to hell, but whatever
- then they'll ambush Giovanni as soon as he gets released from his room
- after that, i'm assuming they'll go to the Alchemist Lab and spend the rest of the night combing it over
- at the end of the night, Matthew, Enzo, and I will stage an attack near our rooms to clear my personal objective
- Game Plan (part 1)
- bolt straight for the Alchemist Lab
- try not to get in my buddies' way with Ulricha
- go south and enter through the room's left door
- go straight for the Ordeal Terminal
- don't mess with anything weird
- unless it's some personal protective equipment (safety goggles, lab coat, etc.)
- dunno how serious mister Hoss is about that, but sure, put them on
- ESPECIALLY don't mess with that stone on the pillar!
- that's got "sketchy" written all over it
- if the Ordeal room is already barricaded
- wtf
- how
- ask who's in it
- if it's Ulricha, someone not an ally, or no answer, (try to) break the door down
- if it's Young or an ally, try convincing her i'm the Service specialty and I'll pick her as a second or some shiz
- if that fails, fuck it, explore the Alchemist Lab, maybe try solving for the Masterwork item
- we'll work out this stupid misunderstanding next common room
- if Jim gets into the room safe and sound:
- slide a piece of paper under the door (from inside to outside)
- saying "JIM HERE, PLEASE DON'T ENTER, THAT'D BE BAD FOR BOTH OF US"
- do not open for any reason, even if allies are screaming bloody murder
- pain is temporary, death marks are eternal
- or even if someone tries disguising their voice as an ally's
- no siree, Jim's staying shut indoors
- barricading the room:
- spread Caltrops on the floor just past the door
- set my Stage Assistant to make a really fucking loud ticking sound with the metronome
- make it 60 bpm, one tick a second
- now it sounds like a bomb lol
- hold it in my hand (in case i need it as a spotlight instead)
- if the door is future slidey:
- hang up the Barbed-Wire Net over the door frame
- stab both Combat Knives into the wall at eye level to support the Net up
- use the hammer to really set them in
- like a screen door, but just with those two knives to keep the net up
- if the door is normal hingey inwards:
- hang up the Barbed-Wire Net, one side knife'd on the wall and the other knife'd on the door
- like this https://i.imgur.com/Fo7Jrmv.png
- use my Programs
- Hot Potato and the Score Roulette
- there's gonna be a lot of death mark shuffling this round
- best chance to sneak these by without suspicion
- prepare myself
- wield the Hammer
- use the gloves to grip anything that tries cutting the net and take it
- a sword, scissors, etc.
- between the Net and the Caltrops, Jim should get the jump on anyone who tries entering with his Hammer
- bash ur fukin head in
- if Ulricha tries to Sleep Mask the place:
- use the spotlight on my Stage Assistant
- fend her off the best i can
- if anyone Black-Out's me:
- i'm screwed
- honestly, this setup can drive off a lot of things
- but Jim's got no answer to a Black-Out
- so hit hard, hit fast, and don't give an intruder the time to use it successfully
- do the Ordeal
- between my self-mark bonus removal, delegating a mark, and naming a second, remove a mark from Jim, Isabella, and Matthew (in that priority)
- wrap-up:
- sweep the Caltrops away with the side of his foot
- rip off the net (the knives are running out of durability today, leave them)
- everything goes into the pillow case sack
- except the hammer, that goes in his pocket for quick-drawing
- and keep wearing the Weighted-Knuckle Gloves and HUD Glasses
- just walk out
- look, if someone out there is gonna beat his ass, no sense putting it off
- not like Jim can stay cooped up forever
- i mean, that means Ulricha or Giovanni won against Enzo and two others
- Jim's got no chance
- Game Plan (part 2)
- have fun exploring around in the Alchemy Lab
- the HUD Glasses should be a huge help in identifying useful stuff
- i have a pillowcase sack, i will use it to its fullest potential
- let Isabella drink a potion to clear the objective
- if she's not around and someone else goes for it, sorry Isabella, you snooze you lose. Let them
- after someone clears the objective, take whatever potions look useful
- if they can't be taken (like, no lid or something), drink whatever's beneficial
- try kicking down the locked door to the back room
- if unsuccessful, no big deal, wait around for Matthew to bring his Riptide to unlock it
- Hoss didn't say anything about the Masterwork hint
- considering there's a stone on a pedestal, and the item's the Philosopher Stone, seems pretty obvious
- but still sketchy!
- hopefully those HUD Glasses will be informative
- probably involve mixing potions and shiz?
- find the instructions, gather the materials, follow some mixing process with the crazy glass tubes,...
- well, save it for last
- looting for useful items is more rewarding use of time
- "improving synchronization level" sounds great, but Jim's getting plenty as-is
- if Ulricha or Giovanni show up and my buddies aren't around:
- holy shit get out
- just bolt back to my room
- i'm probably already dead
- near the end of the night:
- go back to my room
- fetch my trumpet and stage the attack while Jim plays this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x30u2uMYCgU)
- if Matthew and Enzo aren't around, try to get Young, Isabella, or Pipere to help
- drag the person into their room
- don't loot anything, you meanie
- might as well make the rounds for Stockpile rooms
- throw in anything that will run out of durability that night
- overarching guidelines:
- if things go fantastically off the rails:
- go back to my room, fetch the trumpet, and try to catch people to help with my objective
- don't forget dragging the person back into their room
- if Jim ever knocks out someone, don't forget to loot an item
- in priority: Masterwork, Augmentation voucher, weapon, whatever else
- if pressed for time, just take whatever's quickest to make off with
- if the lights ever go out:
- bust out my Stage Assistant. It's got a spotlight feature, so it can be a jank flashlight in a pinch
- Player relationships:
- Allies:
- Matthew
- trustworthy! a good guy
- Isabelle
- her dead hands are a massive handicap
- plus, she's just gonna try running away
- i'm very concerned about her
- but, she's with Matthew and Enzo. They'll take care of her
- Enzo
- he's iffy and dangerous
- but Jim's got no choice but to trust him
- besides, not like anticipating an attack will help. Dude's an armory
- but he'd be helpless under a net, heh heh
- Questionable:
- Pipere
- alright, but the messy discussion about Giovanni/Ulricha/Isabella soured Jim's opinion of her
- seems trapped into attending the Chrono-place, so likely won't cross paths
- Young Moolah
- pretty much nothing known about her
- she spent the night in Enzo's room. Suspicious!
- Enemies:
- Giovanni, Ulricha
- both are mega bad news
- if i'm alone (and probably even with allies), avoid at all costs
- Miscellaneous
- Dog / Roomba
- ???
- really dislikes Pipere???
- April
- actually the host???
- holy fuck you can't just do that to Isabella
- also can toss around death marks like it's nothing
- Hoss
- an angel! super cool and helpful
- Galatea
- weird and foreboding
- apparently gone for good?
