ICSP First Meeting

"Thank you all for attending this momentous occasion today. I understand much effort has been put in from all parties involved, and parties unable to attend or assist in building wish that they could have done so, but had immediately pressing matters to attend to. I would like to thank the hosts of the previous meeting for their kind demeanor. Additionally, I would like to state that the organization we are now standing at the foot of is to be referred to as The International Council of Soren's Preservation, the ICSP. Moving on to discuss our previous meeting's discussion topic as well as our own current meeting's topics:

To quickly cover what Morgaz and others stated at the previous meeting, there has been recent turmoil within the plane as it shifts to a less stable format, and a possible cause for said instability is the use and existence of magic. The threat of the plane shattering is threatening to all races, however we cannot simply stop using magic, as it is innate in several races that call Soren home. It is for this reason that we look for an alternative in this laboratory we have collectively built.

Moving on to current business. It would be best if all involved attempt to stay along the schedule laid out before us so we may cover all key topics laid out before us. Fist the outstanding purpose of the previous meeting will be covered.

Firstly, Necro Imperialis has been charged with the genocide of a nation, and they have promised fair explanation for their actions as well as a treaty limiting their military actions so long as they are allowed to enter into the party formed here today. While it is an understood tragedy, it is of the utmost importance we look at their claims objectively rather than with the prejudice I understand is apparent in certain groups. They may also speak briefly on the second topic, which may be considered un

Second we will cover the topic briefly mentioned at the previous meeting. The terrorist organization identified by Necro Imperialis as "2702" has made attacks against one of our allied nations, and is possibly suspect for a similar explosion prior to the elves defeat. Their location is to some degree known and a general bombing of said area by means of sky ship may assist in drawing them out before we attack them in full. Other military strategies will be considered in full.

Third, we will discuss the nature of this laboratory and the planned research strategy it will conduct. It is suggested we develop a central and basic "Unified Theory of Magic" as our first step in discovering the nature of our problem. It was stated by Morgaz that his studies were purely theoretical, however we have seen recent tremors releasing pure magic, possibly signifying this collapse. Additionally we may also discuss the possible additions made to the lab in the future, due to it being neutral territory and sciences benefiting the stability of all nations should be a key secondary goal. Or course once again, the primary focus of the lab should be the first and foremost focus on solving stability problems. In addition, it may be wise for nations involved to build fortification such as a wall or fortresses around the laboratory, so as to prevent our terrorists of 2702 from intervening with research.

After each of these have been discussed, we will move onto individual concerns that your individual nations bring to the table.

Additionally, I request that we attempt to keep emotions in check during this meeting, as any damage that may accidentally arise could cause damage to the facility and hinder its research.
