Shima: We have received a report from our fellow [Celebram] that 3 Zegas in the African region and 1 in the Australian region have been shot down by the Anti-Zega.

アムロ
「まさに[ゼーガペイン]にとっての天敵だな…」
Amuro: It’s like a natural enemy for [Zegapains]...

ミサト
「しかも、敵の量子ポータルによって神出鬼没とは…。
放っておけば、セレブラムは追い込まれる一方。
何とかしなければなりませんね」
Misato: Not to mention it can use its quantum portal to appear and disappear at will... The Celebram are in a tough spot right now. We’ll have to do something about it.

シマ
「ですが、皆さんの力を借りて撃墜できたとしても
アンチゼーガは再び姿を現します」
Shima: Yes, but even should we successfully shoot it down with your cooperation, the Anti-Zega would simply reappear again.

シマ
「なので、奴が持つ光装甲キャンセラーへの
根本的な対策を急がなければなりません」
Shima: What we need is a countermeasure to the enemy’s Light Armor Canceller. And we need it fast.

「目処は立っているのか?」
Bright: Do we have any idea on how to do so?

「残念ながら…。
今はデータの収集と分析を進めているところです」
Minato: Regrettably not... We’re still in the process of collecting and analyzing data on it.

「そして、オケアノスでは

哨戒任務に就いています」
Minato: That’s why the Oceanus has sent Chris and Mei-Yen on patrol in the Hraesvelg.

「アンチゼーガが出現したら、我々も救援を出そう」
Bright: Well send out backup if the Anti-Zega appears.

シマ
「お願いします」
Shima: You have my gratitude.

ブライト
「ところで、共有してもらった情報には、
カミナギ・リョーコの件があったが…」
Bright: And about the information shared with us concerning Ryoko Kaminagi...

シマ
「ミサキ・シズノたっての希望です。
我々としては可能性が非常に低いと見ていますが…」
Shima: That is what Shizuno Misaki hopes for. However, we find the success rate to be extraordinarily low...

Bright: Actually, Tactical Forecaster Sumeragi had a suggestion in regards to it.

Kyo: Yo, guys. Sorry for just popping in.

Sayaka: Oh, Kyo...

Koji: Did something happen? This is kind of sudden...

キョウ
「カミナギがあんなことになって、
色々と考えちまってよ」
Kyo: I’ve been thinking a lot about what happened to Kaminagi.

キョウ
「俺達[セレブラント]がいつ目覚めて戦ってきたか。
そもそも[ガルズオルム]って何なのか…とかな」
Kyo: When did we [Celebrants] awaken and start fighting? What are the [GARDS-ORM] really after? ...Stuff like that.

「今、このタイミングでか?」
Tetsuya: You’re thinking about that now, at a time like this?

キョウ
「俺は復元前の記憶をなくしちまってるからな。
そういう大本の部分が改めて気になったんだよ。
この世界が滅んでしまった原因とかな」
Kyo: I don’t have any memory of how things were before I was reconstructed. That’s the main thing that’s got me concerned. I don’t even know how this world got so ruined to begin with.

「俺達は前に説明を受けたから、
ある程度は知っているが…」
Guy: We’ve heard the explanation before, so we know at least a little bit about that...

「途中参加の俺は聞いてねえな」
Duo: Well I’m a relatively new addition, so I haven’t heard it.

「オルムウィルス…感染した人間の遺伝子情報を
完全に破壊するウィルスによって、わずか数年で
人類が消えたそうだ」
Tetsuya: It was the [ORM Virus]. ...A virus that completely destroys the genetic information of a human it infects. Within just a few years, it was able to completely eradicate mankind.

キョウ
「んなもん、どこの誰が作ったんだよ?」
Kyo: But who even made it to begin with?

(Lu-Shen appears.)

ルーシェン
「ナーガという人物だ」
Lu-Shen: A man named Naga.

キョウ
「…!」
Kyo: ...!

「ルーシェン、お前も来たのか」
Tetsuya: I see you’re here as well, Lu-Shen.

キョウ
「シマに差し向けられたのか?」
Kyo: You here to tell me to report to Shima?

ルーシェン
「…彼は関係ない。
君がここにいると聞き、来たまでのことだ」
Lu-Shen: ...No, this has nothing to do with him. I heard you were here, and so I came.

デュオ
「で、ナーガってのは、どんな奴なんだ?」
Duo: ‘Kay, so this Naga. Just who is this guy?

ルーシェン
「彼はIAL社…
様々な産業を取り込んでコングロマリット化した
世界的超巨大企業のCEOであり…」
Lu-Shen: He was the CEO of the IAL Corporation... A world-wide mega-corporation that grew into a conglomerate, integrating all manner of industries.

ルーシェン
「量子コンピューターを実用化した人物でもある」
Lu-Shen: He is also the man that made it possible to use quantum computers practically.

キョウ
「何でそんな奴が
オルムウィルスなんて物を作ったんだよ?」
Kyo: What reason would a guy like that have to make the ORM Virus?

ルーシェン
「彼の量子コンピューターのスペックは、
単体で全世界のコンピューター全てを
合わせた能力に匹敵し…」
Lu-Shen: A single one of the quantum computers he invented contained as much processing power as all the other computers on the planet combined...

ルーシェン
「仮想空間に街や人の記憶、
知識までもが丸ごと収容できる」
Lu-Shen: Suddenly the dream of housing cities, people’s memories, and even human consciousness within virtual space was a reality.

「それって、量子サーバー…」
Koji: So, you mean like the quantum servers...

ルーシェン
「そう。ナーガは、その内部での
人間の無限進化を提唱した」
Lu-Shen: Yes. Naga proposed that people could achieve infinite evolution within those quantum servers.

ルーシェン
「永遠の歳月を生きられる[幻体]となり、
加速した時の中で、果てない進化への探求を行う。
それが、人間にとっての幸福であると」
Lu-Shen: To become near-immortal [Meta-Bodies], speed up the passage of time, and subject ourselves to endless upgrading. That, as he believed, would lead mankind to true happiness.

キョウ
「マジで言ってんのか!?」
Kyo: Are you serious!?

さやか
「あまりにも極端過ぎる話だわ…!」
Sayaka: That’s much too extreme...!

「人類全てを量子サーバーに取り込み、
無限進化の実験材料にするつもりだったのか…」
Guy: He intended to place all of humanity into a quantum computer and use them as test subjects for endless evolution...

デュオ
「話が見えてきたぜ。
ナーガはそれを実行するために
オルムウィルスをばらまいたんだろ?」
Duo: I can see where this is going. So Naga released the ORM virus so he could carry out his experiment, right?

ルーシェン
「その通りだ」
Lu-Shen: That’s exactly right.

キョウ
「…!」
Kyo: ...!

ルーシェン
「幻体化することが唯一の救いだったが、
思想的、心情的にそれを望まない人々も多く、
世界は混乱した」
Lu-Shen: Turning into Meta-Bodies became the only way to save ourselves. But people refused. Many rejected the notion because of ideology and religious beliefs. The entire world fell into chaos.

ルーシェン
「疑心暗鬼に駆られた人類同士の戦いと
オルムウィルスにより、わずか2年で
人類は地球上から姿を消した」
Lu-Shen: People grew frantic, suspecting the ORM Virus to be some form of biological weapon, leading to war with their fellow man. And in just two years, humanity was wiped from the face of the Earth.

キョウ
「ナーガって奴は、それからどうしたんだ…?」
Kyo: So what happened to Naga then...?

ルーシェン
「それがわかれば、苦労はしない。
おそらくは彼自身、どこかのサーバーで
幻体化して存在していると思われる」
Lu-Shen: Our lives would be much simpler if we knew that. Perhaps he’s living within a server somewhere as a Meta-Body himself.

ルーシェン
「だが、人類の死滅した地上では、
[IAL社]の工作機械が活動を開始した。
地球を実験場として、完全に独占するために…」
Lu-Shen: Once humanity no longer walked the Earth, the [IAL Corporation’s] production machines activated and began to work. And their task was to convert the entire planet into a test site...

「そいつらがガルズオルム…。
ナーガ自身か、ナーガに予めインプットされた
行動原理に基づいて動いているんだな」
Guy: So then the GARDS-ORM are either being led by Naga himself, or they’re just following the behavioral principles he left behind for them.

ルーシェン
「彼らは今も侵食を続け、実験場を広げている。
このままではいずれ、地球は飲み込まれて
しまうだろう」
Lu-Shen: Even now, the GARDS-ORM continue to expand their testing grounds as Deutera Zones. If things continue as they are, it’s only a matter of time until they swallow the entire Earth.

ルーシェン
「反抗を開始した実験材料…
幻体として生きるサーバー内の反乱分子、
セレブラントが戦わない限りは」
Lu-Shen: But the lab rats started fighting back... Meta-Bodies rose up in rebellion and Celebrants were born.

キョウ
「セレブラント…」
Kyo: Celebrants...

ルーシェン
「データ人間にも思考はあり、防衛本能もある。
戦士として生きることは、自分たちの意志で
生きられることでもある」
Lu-Shen: Even digitized humans still have the concept of self-preservation. We live and die as warriors, but only because we choose to do so.

ルーシェン
「そう思わないか、キョウ?」
Lu-Shen: Don’t you think so, Kyo?

キョウ
「けど…カミナギは戦士じゃなかったんだ…!
俺が…俺が守るって誓った奴なんだ!」
Kyo: But...Kaminagi wasn’t a warrior...! And I... I said I was going to protect her!

ルーシェン
「戦士だったさ、最期は…。
愛する人と一緒にいたかった…。
その意志を貫いたんじゃないのか?」
Lu-Shen: She was a warrior, at the very end... And you wanted to be with the one you loved. Ultimately, didn’t you get your wish in the end?

キョウ
「カミナギは…アークとは違う。
綺麗事でまとめんじゃねえよ!」
Kyo: It’s different for Kaminagi... It’s not the same as Arque. You can’t just gloss over what happened to her!

キョウ
「俺が抱えた痛みも、想いも、
全てが戦うために用意された単なる障害…
予定調和ってことか!?」
Kyo: All the thoughts I’m burdened with, all the pain, they’re nothing more than triggers in my head designed to make me fight... It’s all just pre-established harmony!?

ルーシェン
「…だとしても、君がどうするかが知りたい」
Lu-Shen: ...Even if it is, I want to know what you’re going to do about it.

キョウ
「だから、それがわかんねえんだよ…!」
Kyo: I’m saying I don’t know what to do, okay...!?

キョウ
(カミナギは予定調和に
組み込まれたデータなんかじゃねえ。
確かにお前は、あの世界でしっかり生きていたんだ!)
Kyo: (Kaminagi wasn’t just data set to react like pre-established harmony. I’m positive that you were truly alive in this world!)

(Kyo disappears.)

「あっ、キョウ!」
Sayaka: Ah, Kyo!

ルーシェン
「………」
Lu-Shen: ...

鉄也
「説得しに来たんだろうが、
上手くいかなかったな」
Tetsuya: If you came to persuade him, it’s gone quite poorly.

ルーシェン
「…共に痛みを乗り越える所までは
行き着かずのようだ。やはり、性に合わない」
Lu-Shen: ...So he can’t work through the pain completely with someone else, huh. I’m afraid I just don’t agree with that.

「ルーシェン…」
Guy: Lu-Shen...

ルーシェン
(だが、それでも俺は...)
Lu-Shen: (But, even so I...)


(Scene changes a map screen of snowy mountains. Chris and Mei-Yen are on the map in Zegapain Hraesvelg.)

クリス
「歯を食いしばってみたらどうだ、か…。
まったく…偉そうだな、俺も」
Chris: “You should try clenching your own teeth sometime”, huh... Good going, me. ...I really am an ass.

メイイェン
「さっきのルーシェンとのことですか?」
Mei-Yen: Are you talking about what you and Lu-Shen said earlier?

クリス
「ああ。
今のソゴル・キョウを助けるために、
彼なりに考えて俺に頼んできただろうにな」
Chris: Yeah. He wanted to help Kyo, so his solution was to ask me to go lick his wounds.

メイイェン
「傷は、舐めて癒える物じゃない。
血が出るほど歯を食いしばって、痛みに耐えて、
克服するしかない…」
Mei-Yen: “You can’t just lick wounds closed. They run too deep. They bleed like a son of a bitch so you clench your teeth and you bear the pain. And eventually, you conquer it...”

メイイェン
「クリスさんの言っていたこと、
それもアークさんを…愛する人を失った人にしか
わからないことだと思います」
Mei-Yen: Those words you said, Chris... It sounds like something Arque would say. It’s the kind of thing only someone who’s lost the person they love can understand.

クリス
「…ありがとう」
Chris: ...Thanks.

メイイェン
「ルーシェンも彼に期待しているんですよ。
自分にはない何か…何をしでかすか
わかんないような所…あの人にはあるから」
Mei-Yen: Lu-Shen has high expectations for Kyo. Because there’s something he lacks inside... Kyo possesses something inside of him that Lu-Shen barely understands...

メイイェン
「何かが変わるような期待感が…」
Mei-Yen: He hopes that something inside of him will change...

クリス
「なるほどな…。
それは、俺にもわかる」
Chris: Makes sense to me... That was my take on it too.

メイイェン
「でもホントは、そんな理屈じゃなく…。
ただ好きだから、なんじゃないかしら…」
Mei-Yen: But that’s not the real reason... He just really likes him, almost as if...

クリス
「フッ…それじゃあ彼に無茶ぶりをした分、
俺達も歯を食いしばるとするか」
Chris: Hmph... I guess we’ll just have to clench our teeth for being so unreasonable with him.

メイイェン
「はい!
アンチゼーガのデータを少しでも取りましょう…!」
Mei-Yen: Right! Let’s get some Anti-Zega data...!

Fosetta: Naturally, there is evidence that the Light Armor was destroyed here.

シズノ
「そんなことわかってる。
もっと調べて、戦闘データを徹底的に洗い直すの」
Shizuno: I’m aware of that. I want to do a more thorough analyze and take a second look at the combat data.

(This is the Chris from Gundam 00, not the Chris from Zegapain.)

クリス
「こっちの領域の確認は終わったわ。
けど、外れ。別の所も調べてみる」
Chris: I finished checking out this area. But it’s another miss. I’ll start on the next one.

シズノ
「ごめんなさい。
あなたにも手伝ってもらって」
Shizuno: I’m sorry for getting you to help as well.

クリス
「いいのよ、こういうの一応得意分野だし、
あなた達の技術に興味がないと言えば嘘だもの」
Chris: It’s no problem. This is kind of one of my specialties. And besides, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t interested in checking out your tech.

クリス
「といっても、実際に触れるとなると、
さすがにヘビーね」
Chris: Your stuff is actually pretty heavy when you’re handling it yourself. That’s probably obvious, though.

シズノ
「この膨大なデータ、
私と彼女だけじゃ時間が掛かってしまう。
本当に助かっているわ」
Shizuno: It would take a long time for Fosetta and I to go through this enormous amount of data on our own. I really appreciate it.

クリス
「…あのさ、あえて興味本位で聞くんだけど、
あなた、何でそこまでカミナギって子のデータを…」
Chris: ...Hey, so, just out of curiosity... Why are you so interested in Kaminagi’s data for--

クリス
「ううん…そういうの聞くべきじゃないわね。
ごめん、忘れて」
Chris: On second thought, nah. I shouldn’t have asked that. Sorry, just forget it.

シズノ
「いえ…」
Shizuno: It’s fine.

クリス
(データになっても人の恋心は変わらずか…。
ロマンティックだとは思うけど…)
Chris: (I guess people love each other even when they’re just data... It’s actually pretty romantic, but...)

クリス
「それはさておき、スメラギさんの考えだと、
カミナギって子を復元させることが出来れば…」
Chris: Well, anyways, Miss Sumeragi was thinking that if it was possible to restore Kaminagi then--

クリス
「ん?このデータ…」
Chris: Hm? Hang on a sec, this data is...

シズノ
「!見せて…!」
Shizuno: ! Let me see!

フォセッタ
「幻体バッファです」
Fosetta: That is the Meta-Body buffer.

シズノ
「その記憶領域にバックアップはある?」
Shizuno: Is there a backup in that memory area?

フォセッタ
「いえ、そんなはずは…。
けど、見る限り、これはクラッシュデータです。
解読は不能…」
Fosetta: No, I don’t think so... From what I can tell, this appears to be crash data. I’m unable to decode it however...

(Shizuno’s Celebrant symbol appears and she begins...doing some data searching thing, I don’t freaking know. A bunch of numbers fly into her in the show but DD doesn’t really show that at all. She does some science magic to recovery Kaminagi’s data, there.)

「そうとは限らないわ…!」
Shizuno: We won’t need to...!

クリス
「ちょ、ちょっと!?」
Chris: Wh-What the...!?

フォセッタ
「シズノさん、まさか…!」
Fosetta: Shizuno, you’re not...!?

シズノ
「はぁ、はぁ…やっと、見つけた…」
Shizuno: Haah, haah... I finally found her...

クリス
「確かにこれって…!」
Chris: Yeah, this is it...!

フォセッタ
「リョーコさんです!
アルティールの記憶領域に、
リョーコさんの圧縮データが!」
Fosetta: It’s Ryoko! We’ve found compressed data of Ryoko from the Altair’s memory area!

シズノ
「生きているわ、彼女は…」
Shizuno: She’s still alive...

「カミナギが生きてるって本当なのか!?
どこにいるんだよ!?」
Kyo: Is it true that Kaminagi’s still alive!? Where is she!?

シズノ
「アルティールの中よ。
あれを見て」
Shizuno: Inside of the Altair. Look here.

(The screen shows a long sequence of numbers.)

キョウ
「これが…今のカミナギ…
ゼーガの中にいるってのか?」
Kyo: This is...what Kaminagi is now...? What did you mean she’s “inside of the Altair”?

シマ
「多次元ホログラム解析の結果、
かなりの確率で復元が可能とのことだ」
Shima: The results of our multidimensional hologram analysis show that there is a fairly good chance we may be able to restore her.

シズノ
「彼女のデータを修復するのよ。
キョウ、かつてのあなたのように」
Shizuno: We’re repairing her data. Just like we once did for you, Kyo.

キョウ
「…!」
Kyo: ...!

(Still Gundam 00 Chris.)

クリス
「先の戦闘で転送を妨害されたから、
カミナギって子のデータは
完全にロストしたはずらしいんだけど…」
Chris: As I’ve been told, Kaminagi’s data should have been completely lost after her transfer was interrupted in the last battle...

クリス
「幸運にも彼女を構成するデータの一部が、
オケアノスに転送されず、アルティールの
幻体バッファに残ったままになっていたのよ」
Chris: Fortunately, some of her composition data that didn’t transfer to the Oceanus remained within the Altair’s Meta-Body buffer.

フォセッタ
「上手くいけば、
遺伝データから幻体を修復して、
元のリョーコさんを復元できます」
Fosetta: If it goes well, we should be able to restore Ryoko’s genetic data and return her to how she was before.

キョウ
「そっか…そっか…!
ありがとな、先輩もあんたも…!」
Kyo: Okay... Alright...! Shizuno, Chris, I can’t thank you enough...!

シズノ
「彼女は私達にとっても重要な戦力であり、
仲間ですもの」
Shizuno: She’s very important to our fighting strength. And as our comrade.

クリス
(あんな目一杯喜んじゃって…。
罪作りな子よねぇ…)
Chris: (He looks so happy... But I feel sorry for her...)

「カミナギ・リョーコの復元は現在急ぎ進めている。
対アンチゼーガとして彼女の存在は…」
Shima: We’re going to restore Ryoko Kaminagi as quickly as possible. We’ll need her for dealing with the Anti-Zega the next--

「アンチゼーガ・コアトリクエが
フリスベルグを捕捉した模様!
交戦に入ります!」
Dita: Hraesvelg has spotted the Anti-Zega Coatlicue! They’re engaging it now!

ミナト
「現れたのね…!」
Minato: So it’s shown up...!

シマ
「フリスベルグから送られてくる
アンチゼーガのデータの分析を逐次進めろ。
ラー・カイラムにも連絡を!」
Shima: Begin analyzing the data on the Anti-Zega sent by Hraesvelg. Inform the Ra Cailum as well!

「了解…!」
Irie: Roger...!

キョウ
(アンチゼーガ…俺達セレブラントの天敵…。
あいつだけは絶対に何とかしねえと)
Kyo: (The Anti-Zega... The natural enemy of the Celebrants... I have to stop it somehow.)

Sin: ...

(Abyss and Sin attack Chris and Mei-Yen.)

メイイェン
「きゃあっ…!」
Mei-Yen: Kyaaa...!

クリス
「くっ、光装甲キャンセラーで丸裸にされたんじゃ、
一発当たった程度でもこのダメージか」
Chris: Ngh, so a single hit can do this much damage with their Light Armor Canceller stripping us bare.

クリス
「メイイェン、データはオケアノスに送っているな?」
Chris: Mei-Yen, have you sent the data to the Oceanus?

メイイェン
「は、はい!
光装甲キャンセラーのデータも含めて…!」
Mei-Yen: Y-Yes! As well as the data on the Light Armor Canceller...!

クリス
「さてと、もう少し粘りたいところだが、
どこまでやらせてくれるものか…」
Chris: I’d like to be able to hold on a bit longer, but I think that’s more up to them than it is us...

アビス
「………」
Abyss: ...

(Lu-Shen and Mei-Yu, Tetsuya, Show, and the player’s team appear.)

「2人共、無事!?」
Mei-Yu: Are you two okay!?

メイイェン
「お姉ちゃん!みんな!」
Mei-Yen: Mei-Yu! Everyone!

ショウ
「アンチゼーガのデータを取るにしたって、
もう少し退き際があるだろうに」
Show: I know you were gathering data on the Anti-Zega, but you should have retreated already.

チャム
「そうよ、無茶し過ぎ!」
Cham: Yeah, you’re being too reckless!

クリス
「君達に比べたら無茶が出来る身体なんでね。
彼が戻って来た時に備えて、
これぐらいしたって罰は当たらんさ」
Chris: Unlike you guys, I’m in a body that can afford to be reckless. Besides, you can’t fault me for trying to set the stage for his comeback, can you?

鉄也
(ソゴル・キョウ…。
クリスはあいつが戻ってくるのを
信じているということか)
Tetsuya: (Kyo Sogoru... So Chris has complete faith that he’ll be back in the fight.)

ルーシェン
「代わりは俺たちが務める。
フリスベルグはオケアノスに帰艦を」
Lu-Shen: We’ll take over here. Take the Hraesvelg back to the Oceanus

クリス
「アンチゼーガを相手にするのはキツいぞ?」
Chris: Aren’t you gonna have a hard time taking on the Anti-Zega?

ルーシェン
「俺も歯を食いしばってみるさ。
意味は違うかもしれないがね」
Lu-Shen: I’ll just have to clench my teeth as well. Though I may not mean that in the same way you do.

クリス
「フッ…エンタングル・タイムアウト!」
Chris: Heh... Entangle Timeout!

(Chris and Mei-Yen leave the map.)

Abyss: ...

「アンチゼーガとまともにやりあうのは
これが初めてだが…」
Show: This’ll be our first time fighting the Anti-Zega directly...

鉄也
「ここで奴を倒せば、
目の前の危機はひとまず去ることになる。
行くぞ!」
Tetsuya: So long as we take him down here, we’ll have resolved the immediate danger. Let’s go!

(Battle 1 begins.)

(Battle 1 ends when the Anti-Zega’s HP is 70% or below.)
