- Are parents the best teachers? (2nd topic)
- From the time children are born until they begin school, they spend more time with their parents than with anyone else. Parents teach children all of the most important basic skills they need, such as how to walk, how to tie their shoes, how to get dressed, and how to be polite and respectful. When children begin school, a stranger teaches them about other topics, such as math and reading. Some people believe that parents would be better teachers, because they care more about their children and they spend more time with them. However, caring more about their children means parents are less likely to be objective, and parents may not know about many of the topics children need to learn. For these reasons, I believe that parents are not the best teachers.

- Homework: write a short essay to answer the topic:
- Some people prefer to live in a small town. Others prefer to live in a big city. Which place would you prefer to live in? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.
