- Azumi scowled, watching as her target ran. She didn't find it even close to logical that she could dodge an attack she hadn't seen nor expected, but her sanity being what it was (or rather wasn't), she didn't speak these complaints. She gripped the machete backhanded as she sprinted, shouting in rage. "I'll f***ing kill you!"
- She deactivated her shield momentarily, reaching her right hand back into the etherspace and pulling out something else as she kept moving, a sharp turn forcing her to put feet up on the side of a building for a few steps as per her parkour training in order to make sure never to lose momentum or slow down, but going down on the street again soon after.
- A UNSC fragmentation grenade, one she could throw past the feline, hopefully causing serious damage due to the non elemental shrapnel and causing blowback regardless to force her to stop running. She primed it... One... two.... She threw it as hard as she could, shouting, and watched it explode not far in front of the target cat. Not done, she reached down her outfit once more, pulling out a different weapon. Her M6S handgun. In almost any circumstance, she wouldn't use it one-handed. However, she wasn't thinking clearly, simply wanting this to end, to completely and utterly destroy her so she would never return. She aimed, her VISR activating so she could distinguish friend from foe, and fired. Once, twice, three times, always aimed at M. Jess to the best of her ability.
- Greg, in very fast pursuit on wings of blue that allowed him to fly faster than the average runner, took a different route. He did not have a handgun. He only had one offensive spell, and those always had a tendency to miss when he needed them most. What he needed, especially after Azumi finished her firing rounds, was a more creative way, a way to both stop their foe in her tracks and make it hard if not impossible for her to hit them back, giving them time to hit her with everything they had. Given his light affiliation against her dark water one, he assumed this would have to do.
- "Guard!" Light blue clouds came in wisps from his hand, but disappeared once more. The result, a defensive spell, most likely would hit her, seeing as those types didn't tend to have accuracy problems. If so, it would cause a spherical forcefield around her made from his magic, possibly trapping her own spells within its confines, not to mention the slowed speed of it compared to her most likely making her stop running as if hitting a brick wall. He was trying to be a kind man, but he had his limits, and she had crossed them in more ways than one, and gone to lengths he had sworn to destroy.
- This woman had to die.
