chaeri grew up as an only child with very little socializing skills. she was shy from a young age and excluded herself from social activities whenever possible. though she knew that she would eventually go to hogwarts, she went to a muggle school and learnt things muggles learned. she had always been told never to tell anyone that she was a witch thus she was practically invisible at school. her letter from hogwarts arrived when she was 11 and her father was a little skeptical of the school but after some reassurance from her mother, he let her attend hogwarts. chaeri was a person who learned things through experience so textbooks failed to amaze her with ink pictures of magical creatures the same way she was amazed looking at them up close. at school she is always the first one to class, being an early riser, so that she could enjoy the few rare moments of peace and quiet before her loud classmates arrive. people ignore her a lot because she looks like a person who is best left alone and they are right. chaeri would prefer studying over meeting new people so she's a common sight in the library, usually in the corner doing her schoolwork or reading a good fantasy novel. she prefers good grades over good reputation/popularity.

chaeri is the type of person to ignore people trying to make friends with her as she is usually lost in her cloud of thought until she realizes that someone is talking to her. she is an awkwardly shy person anywhere, even with her own parents. in front of crowds, she will get a panic attack and will try and avoid attention at all costs. she finds the stares intimidating as people are expecting something of her (which is why their attention is focused on her in the first place). her parents sometimes take her to meet other people and try and get her to be a bit more social. this backfires as chaeri stays as her own socially awkward self and barely smiles and is sometimes described as an agelast; a person who never ever laughs. she also does not talk unless she feels the need to or if she is asked for a reply. she is often not on the good side of everyone, being the invisible student who gets high grades and never participates in class discussions. however, she loves to fly as she feels very free and somehow made it on the quidditch team.

how you meet: chaeri has seen seokjin a few times in the library, on the quidditch field and in some of her classes. she sometimes, without knowing it, makes eye contact with him especially on the quidditch field during matches. as a chaser, he passes the quaffle to her a lot. they officially meet when a player from the opposite team purposely committed a foul and almost knocked her off her broom. he is continuously looking out for her after that and starts talking with her more.

first impression:
+chaeri first saw seokjin as a snob with his self confidence and tried to ignore him. she gave up when they both ended up on the quidditch team that year and saw that he wasn't really a snob.

+seokjin, like everyone else, only knew her as 'the gryffindor chaser who never spoke' so he found her very intriguing. he was determined to get to know her better unlike other who only knew her name, that she was in gryffindor, in her last year, a chaser and never spoke.

how you act around him:
+beginning; chaeri tried her best to ignore the self confident seokjin, she really did. she never expected him to tryout for quidditch that year and was very surprised when she saw him at the tryouts. all her efforts to avoid him was gone when he started to try and talk to her before and after quidditch matches.

+middle; chaeri reluctantly agreed hang out with him at hogsmeade every weekend and she found him to be completely different from what she first thought of him. he is actually very generous and kind-hearted and they often go to three broomsticks inn to get a butterbeer or to honeydukes to purchases a week's supply of sweets. they also like to talk with each other in the gryffindor common room until very late when most students are asleep. usually one of seokjin's gryffindor friends finds them sleeping next to each other the morning after.

+end; after a while of meeting each other every weekend, chaeri started feeling a little bubbly feeling everytime she saw him. one of her rare gryffindor friends described it as love but chaeri simply shrugged it off. the feeling started getting persistent so she tried to avoid him again (as discreetly as possible) hoping that the weird feeling would stop. of course, seokjin notices and she sees him way more often they usually do to the point where rushing out the classroom is out of the question. it turns out that he has mutual feelings for her as well and confesses.

how he acts around you:
+beginning; seokjin was the sort of snobby outgoing type of person who liked to make friends regardless of which house a student belonged to. chaeri's aura intrigued him since the moment he saw her on a broomstick playing for gryffindor and immediately knew that he had to somehow befriend her. he practiced his flying in his free time and finally tried out for the team and got in as a keeper which was a bonus for him as she was a chaser.

+middle; seokjin always tried to start a conversation with her usually before or after quidditch practices or games. he somehow managed to persuade her to spend their weekend hogsmeade outings together so they often went to three broomsticks inn and honeydukes. at some point along their growing friendship, he realized that he was growing feelings for her.

+end; after realising that chaeri was trying to avoid him again, he tried hard to see what was bothering her. he felt overly happy when she described the feeling she got but didn't know. he confessed to her straight after that and found it extremely cute how she was blushing afterwards. students at first were unbelieving that an outgoing person and an invisible person were dating but they quickly accepted it after deeming them the cutest couple.

+seokjin really likes playing with her hair and will braid it whenever he has the chance, particularly when she is asleep
+he often hexes people who tease him about not being manly enough in the relationship
