  1. Aryanne
  2.
  3. >You met Aryanne almost a year ago.
  4. >Last Summer, reports came in of some kind of human compound that had sprouted up in the South Eastern sector.
  5. >Nothing new there; every separatist or criminal organization on Human Earth had found their way through a portal and set up shop at some point. Just a year earlier, you heard about a redoubt being cleared out that was allegedly run by American mobsters.
  6. >This particular compound was run by white supremacists, the Aryan Front, or something. They weren't very big - but they were mean, and had more guns and ammunition than you expected.
  7. >Celestia was predictably hesitant to do anything about them; she's been very laissez-faire about humans and their incursions into Equestria since the very start of all this. She typically allows these little settlements to exist, so long as they don't break any laws, and attempts to assimilate them into being official towns.
  8. >It rarely works, and if it doesn't, we send another envoy with orders for them to leave immediately.
  9. >We were on step one of that list of protocols when the reports of little Nazi raids on the nearby village came in.
  10. >They would steal goods and food, and most egregiously, they stole ponies.
  11. >Celestia sent her angry envoys first, demanding they surrender their weapons and prisoners, and leave through the portal at once.
  12. >But the Nazis had other plans, and shot at them until they retreated.
  13. >So that's when you were sent, along with a dozen other guys - and several gun-mounted trucks.
  14. >Then there was no more negotiating.
  15. >Obviously, they'd been fortifying for some time; their stockade walls were lined with sheets of metal and bits of rubble from all over. Some kind of neo-Nazi flag flew overhead on a watchtower, though nobody was in it.
  16. >Instead, they'd burrowed into the earth, and had little flaps on the walls they shot through.
  17. >With some generous fire support, your team got close to the gated entrance. The other half of the team was flanking them, planning on driving their truck right through the wall on the other side.
  18. >But that's when the gate flew open, and several ponies came running out.
  19. >All of them bleach-white, blonde, blue-eyed.
  20. >You ordered your men to hold their fire. The whole reason you were here in the first place was to protect Equestrians.
  21. >But they weren't fleeing - they were charging you.
  22. >Nobody in your unit was willing to fire the first shot as they came down on you. They weren't holding spears, or weapons of any kind, but had these little backpacks on.
  23. >You didn't really know what to make of it as one of them ran right up to you and wrapped her hooves around your leg in a vice-like grip.
  24. >It was Aryanne; she looked up at you with the fiercest look in her eyes, screaming something in German before reaching with her mouth to a cord coming out of pack.
  25. >You saw a few of her group crawl underneath some of the trucks, and you suddenly got it.
  26. >Then when those trucks erupted in fire and flew a few feet in the air, it was crystal clear.
  27. >Most of your guys went up in flames. Only reason that you didn't is because Aryanne's pack was a dud. You tugged on the chord and glared back at you, waiting for the end. And when it didn't come, she tried tugging again before you punched her in the head and wrestled it away from her.
  28. >A few other ponies weren't able to blow themselves up in time, but the damage was done. Half of your guys were dead, and the other half were fighting.
  29. >When a pony tried rushing another of the trucks, the gunner shot him to bits. Nothing is worse to an EHAF than killing a pony, so the others were pissed at him. Then another pony charged them and another of them shot her, and then one of his own guys shot him, and then it was chaos.
  30. >The flanking team succeeded at least; they rammed through a back gate and surrounded the Nazis inside their little bunker.
  31. >Eventually they surrendered when the Equestrian authorities arrived to oversee their arrest, knowing how lenient Equestrian law is with criminals. But your own guys had other plans.
  32. >There was this captain in charge of your operation, a guy with a reputation for being especially ruthless with human invaders. He had some gay nickname, like "the wolf" or something. But when the Equestrians got there, he'd already lined up all the Nazis who surrendered in front of a pit.
  33. >We didn't dig it; the pit was already there. They told us it was a latrine, but it was somewhat hastily filled with dirt.
  34. >Upon closer inspection, there were bones in it, and rotten flesh.
  35. >Little pony skeletons, little pony corpses.
  36. >The captain put a few of the prisoners through... Interrogation, and found out that they'd had some unicorn sorcerer working with them for some time. He'd been experimenting with some kind of conversion magic or something, and the Nazis offered him shelter and protection in exchange for his help in taking over Equestria.
  37. >Or at least a few villages, they said, as if that made us see them any better. They'd captured ponies from the area, tortured them, brainwashed them, changed them into those white mockeries that killed themselves outside. And if they weren't strong enough to survive the process, they'd just shoot them and dump their bodies in the pit.
  38. >Every pony body that could be found was extracted from the pit to be transported away for a proper burial, and the captain had every last prisoner shot and dumped into their own pit in turn.
