- Top game recommendations:
- Sandbox game - Super Mario Maker 2 or LeveLHead
- Team Strategy / Moba game - I can't pick a favorite
- Card game - Faeria (mixes randomness and customizability with strategy and two-way board construction)
- Platforming game - MagiCat (retro style graphics but fantastically designed ideas and so many boss battles)
- Turn Based Strategy game - Triangle Strategy (lots of replay value, story has its share of plot holes but the endings are fantastic)
- Real-Time Strategy game - StarCraft 1 (for the story, if you like it then get the sequel)
- Role-Playing game - Ruined King: A League of Legends Story(feels like the gameplay sequel to FFX that SE never gave us)
- Retro game recommendations:
- Super Mario Bros. 3 (inventory for powerups made NG+ more fun and it had a VS mode)
- Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped (refined the character's moveset and provided a basis for speed run benchmarks)
- Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals(full RPG with an optional rogue-like dungeon game built into a side quest)
- Scorched Earth(predecessor to Worms)
- Hostile Takeover(random map generation with turn-based local multiplayer)
- Master of Orion(customizable armies with random map generation and faction attribute variance)
- Civilization(back when it was simpler, it was better)
- Spyro the Dragon(you play as a purple dragon, need I go on?)
- Sonic the Hedgehog(the most fair of the Sega Genesis trilogy)
- Final Fantasy(a time before they expected you to pay for help to beat RPGs)
- If you want to support my stream financially there are 5 ways to do it.
- The most cost-effective way that is still passing money onto Twitch.TV is to send me bits through the Twitch TV bits donation system. You can then get bits badges and emotes, and I'll get a larger share of the contribution than if you were to subscribe to the channel.
- If you would rather not see commercials on this channel, then you can subscribe to the channel to gain access to emotes over an entire month and the subscriber badges. You would get more emotes and have an easier time advertising(by simply sending messages with my emotes in them) my channel to fellow viewers of other Twitch TV channels.
- If you would rather have a more direct role in deciding which games I play on this channel, then you can buy me games from my wish list by adding me to your friend list on Steam, or something like that. I would suggest waiting for a sale otherwise this could end up being not more cost-effective than sending me bits and trusting me to wait for it. https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198036102991/
- The last two ways cost the least money but can have more impact than you might think:
- Talk about the stream with others, including but not limited to raiding the stream(sending your viewers here).
- Watching the stream(not only do you generate tiny amounts of money by just watching advertisements but you can spark interest in the stream site-wide if there are enough individuals). Watching past broadcasts can be helpful for advertisements' sake and for catching up on missed content, but the fastest way to spark interest in a channel for others is to attend live streams regularly. This is the most valuable thing you can do for an affiliated streamer, which is my current status.
