  1. Q. What are you trying to do?
  2. A. I'm trying to catch all 150 Pokémon across both Red and Blue, using no glitches
  3.
  4. Q. How long is this going to take?
  5. A. Not 100% sure. I'm shooting for around 15 hours, but it could take more (or less... haha jk). I am putting some routing into this, and I'll be using RNG Manipulation so that helps. We won't really know how it goes until we do it
  6.
  7. Q. Is this being done on console or emulator?
  8. A. Console
  9.
  10. Q. Is this 2G1C?
  11. A. No. I'll be switching off which game I play and will only be playing one at a time, except during trades
  12.
  13. Q. How do you plan on trading between the games?
  14. A. I have a link cable that I've tested and I know works still, so I'll be using that. I *do* have two GameCube's and GBP attachments, but I only have one capture card so I'll likely just use a Gameboy and the GBP to do my trading, so you guys will only see one screen during a trade
  15.
  16. Q. This is awesome!
  17. A. I know
  18.
  19. Q. How many trades are there?
  20. A. A lot. My route may not be the fastest, but there were a few goals I had in mind. I don't want to spend any considerable amount of time catching a Pokémon in both games, so most of the Pokémon will be caught in one and traded over. My estimate right is 60+ trades
  21.
  22. Q. What are the trouble Pokémon?
  23. A. If you've seen a 124 Glitchless run, you probably know what two of the answers are, but here are the big ones that require special planning:
  24. - Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle - Getting them isn't too hard, but this does mean I need at least 3 save files (while at the end of the game, I'll have 2)
  25. - Venusaur and Charizard - Lots of grinding to get these guys. Mostly just E4 grinding, but it's still worth noting. Blastoise is easy
  26. - Porygon - Costs a lot of money. Buying in Blue is the obvious choice as it's over $60000 cheaper
  27. - Vaporeon, Jolteon and Flareon - Like the starters, this requires 3 save files that make it to Celadon City. Routing what the resetting save file does is kind of fun to make sure it's not just an hour of wasted time
  28. - Dragonite - I mean obviously
  29.
  30. Q. Is this route the same as the one you used with Shenanagans for your failed 150 Co-Op attempts?
  31. A. It's very similar, but it is different for some of the late-game stuff. One of the neat things about doing this solo is that you don't need to worry about how long each segment in between saves is. Doing co-op, you want to make sure that Blue takes the same amount of time as Red before they're both ready to trade, but doing it solo you can wing it. Red can play five minutes and Blue plays an hour and there's no time lost by one person waiting
  32.
  33. Q. When does time end?
  34. A. Timing is going to be the same as 150 Co-Op. Time ends when both players have the diploma on screen
