- An alarm went off in the darkly light room, the two skires cuddling in bed groaned in response to it. Both were sound asleep before they were awakened by the alarm going off, it didn't take long for one of them to shut it off and roll back into their partner's arms. Rocket and Reaper were in bed together. Rocket was the one to turn the alarm off and roll back into Reaper's arms, the creature held their partner lovingly as it nuzzled into him and pulled him closer. The two skires felt the same, sleepy and drowsy, almost falling back to sleep together while they enjoyed each other's company. The alarm was set by Death, it had to get up so it could take its time waking up and getting ready for the day. Death was supposed to be meeting with Giyas, the fire mentor so it could start its journey with properly learning fire magic. Death had other kinds of magic in mind instead of this but it couldn't find any mentors who could teach it, so it settled for Giyas for the time being especially that its husband was planning on learning fire magic. It was actually Rocket that originally suggested it to the creature, he was planning on learning it so he could make fireworks without actually needing to use real fireworks. The creature had accepted the suggestion though it had alternative motives for wanting to learn fire magic, it knew most skire wasn't the biggest fan of fire, even terrified of it and it was going to use that as another advantage over everyone else. The creature wanted another strength and skill added to its roster of abilities and skills. Anything that gave it the slightest advantage over others was desired and thought after.
- The creature let out a growl followed by a grumble as his husband poked him before gently placing a hand on his face and trying his best to softly wake the creature up who only replied with more disgruntled grumbles and growls which in return made his lover softly chuckle. "Hon, you have to wake up. You won't have enough time for yourself before your training if you sleep in..come on coal..charcoal.." said rocket, teasingly yet in a sleepy tone. He was tired as well but he couldn't let his husband sleep in, so he was trying his best to wake him up by teasing him and calling him silly names. Reaper grumbled again before letting out a groan as he shifted in bed with his husband, it took him a minute but he had finally woke up. He sat up slowly on the edge of their bed, still grumbling " Never call me that again boy scout. You look like a fire cracker on a good day. " he said disgruntled as he stood up, stretching its body and it making all sorts of popping and cracking sounds. Rocket chuckled still in bed " You sound like a walking pile of bones on a good day..take care of yourself..I will miss you.." he said lovingly to his partner who was heading to the bathroom so he could get ready for the day.
- Reaper had freshened up, ate something and was on his way to meet Giyas so he could start his training. He wasn't the happiest about having to socialize and interact with someone that he has never interacted with nor observed. He had heard about how Giyas can be though, his behavior and demeanor. How he tries his best to help skire get over their fear of fire and learn how to control it instead, he scoffed at the thought. Fearing fire yet trying to control it? Whoever thought of that was very foolish to him, you don't play with fire, especially with something you fear. You are only allowed to dare and do that if you have fully conquered the flame, if you fear it in anyway, in the presence or the past. It will sense that and consume you with no mercy, it simply didn't believe skire that the courage nor the strength to fully conquer something like fire. It is in their nature to fear it and that fear will never leave them no matter what, just like the fear of death. The creature shook its head, it didn't want to waste further time thinking about skire that it considered below them, it had better things to do. Especially that it had finally arrived at its destination, it stood in front of tall building, observing it and it's surroundings. It had noticed that the building had an open field connected right to it, it was bare and empty. Simply dirt, sand and stone filled the empty field, it was probably used as a larger space for further training that couldn't be done in a contained safe. The creature had stood there for a moment, taking everything in and gathering all the information it could obtain before it slowly went to the front door and entered the building. The weather inside was much more warmer than it was outside, this had instantly bothered Death. It disliked the heat a lot and if it had to be active inside this environment, it surely will only get warmer and it absolutely didn't want that. The creature thought it was very stupid that the place wasn't cooler inside considering that they will be using fire magic from all things, you know. The magic that warms things up and could even burn them into a crisp? Yeah let's fuck around and find out with it in an hot environment. Surely nothing bad would happen if we did! He thought to himself, he was irritated by this but it didn't stop him from looking for Giyas who was in the largest training room that was close by. Reaper could sense his strong magic output, it had intrigued the creature and made it wonder why he was releasing so much magic at this time. Was he training someone else? No, it can't be. The creature didn't sense anyone else, it seemed like they were the only ones in the building which Reaper found odd on it's own. It could investigate further but it though it would only be a waste of time considering that it didn't sense anyone else, instead the creature went to confront Giyas. It wanted to see who he really was, it wanted to find out why he was spilling so much magic for no reason at all especially at a place like this, was he training? It still seemed reckless and stupid to the creature to be spilling this much magic just for training.
- Giyas stood up before slowly turning around, he grinned at the creature as he straighten up his back and faced it " Well, Well what do we have here? Came in to learn about the flame? Are you ready to tame your fears? " he turned to the thing as he slowly approached it, he didn't want to potentially spook it so he was being slightly cautious yet friendly towards it, being careful to not do any sudden movements that might make it uncomfortable or cautious. He wanted it to feel comfortable and welcome here, especially that it was its first time here to train. The creature stood there, staring at the flaming skire right in front of him, it finally understood where the massive source of magic came from. It was a defected, a skire that had a defeat. Things now made sense to him, that's why he sensed the large magic source, it wasn't because a skire was being reckless and using lots of magic for no reason at all. It was because he was dying, the magic was being drained out of him constantly by this curse that had been placed onto him. The creature continued to observe him, watching the flames dance all over his body effortlessly. It hadn't answered nor respond to what he had said yet, still studying him and his unusual body, it was something interesting to it. It hadn't seen a defected skire before in its life, it was something intriguing, watching a skire die in front of you slowly in real time yet dictate lots of their limited time to train and teach others the same curse that is slowly snuffing his remaining light out in such quick succession in a way like this.
- Giyas stared nervously at the creature that had yet to reply to him, starting to get slightly concerned at its silence " is everything alright with ya fella? You haven't said a word and been staring for a bit..are you not here to train with the mighty and strong Giyas? " Death snapped out of it when it heard the flaming skire speak again, he bared his teeth as it let out a huff that was visible " I do not fear the flame. " it finally answered one of the first questions that the flaming skire had asked it " I do not have any fears to tame, I'm fear it self. The thing that lingers in the shadows and strikes when the opportunity presents itself to me. I'm here to learn and obtain skire's greatest fear, to succeed in my task of becoming the feared and avoided " it continued confidently, it spoke so effortlessly and unbothered, it believed in what it said and had no issues in vocalizing it to the flaming skire right in front of it. Giyas stood there in complete shock, surprised and speechless at what he just heard, he surely wasn't expecting to hear this today. He chuckled in response, completely amused by the response that he just got from death. It wasn't what he had expected but it was a welcomed reply, at least it was confident in itself and it's resolve. Giyas grinned again " Alright alright, you are more then fine it seems! I like your attitude, maybe not your reasoning?...let's just stay focused! Come in closer, let us get started! " the flaming skire gestured to death, he placed a few candles down on the ground as he sat down, crossing his legs and placing his hands on his knees " let's try something small! Lighting these candles should be an easy feat for you! Right? You wanna learn fire? Than something as simple as this should be easy for you to accomplish especially as your first lesson! Impress me kid! "
- The creature groaned loud enough for the flamed creature to be able to hear it, it huffed " I'm not a kid, I'm older than you. " it said coldly. Giyas gave the creature an amused look " Are you? That's even better! You should be able to this even faster, a little tip for you. Try to visualize your emotions as the flame if you are struggling this hard! " Death groaned and grumbled, clearly annoyed by the flamed skire behavior. It didn't even reply to him, it simply did what it said. It visualized what it felt, strong and untamed emotions, flames growing slowly inside of it as it reached a hand out and uncurled its fingers. It aimed for the candles as it continued to build up the flames burning inside of it, visualizing it escaping its hand and lighting the candles. Death growled, feeling itself build up with something before a candle suddenly lit up. The others almost bursting in flames as their wicks lit up in succession right after it. Giyas lit up himself in joy at the sight he had just witnessed, it greatly excited him to see such success and him being correct about his prediction about his new student " You did it! How amazing! I knew you could do it! That's such an impressive feat, are you sure that you aren't already a magic user? That was pretty quick, maybe you are a natural. Doesn't mean we are done yet! You still have a lot to learn so you can perfect this skill! Taming a beast as vicious as fire isn't that easy! "
