- There sits in Washington a Council of Six. The Council rules over us all, and our laws change according to their whims. They were not elected. They are never obligated to retire, retaining their seats until death.
- This Council did not gain its power via legitimate means. Instead, Republicans used every underhanded tactic that they could conceive of to force their preferred stooges onto the Supreme Court, which was subsequently transformed to the point where it has earned the sobriquet I have given it.
- The Council of Six does not care about the law. They simply rule by decree according to their personal tastes, retroactively using legal jargon to justify their whims. The rule of law is dead, and will not be revived so long as these reactionary dogs continue to hold America by its throat.
- But will Democrats do what is necessary and expand the Supreme Court to neuter the Council of Six? No, they will not. It's too "radical". There aren't enough "blue dogs" (almost as loathsome a creature as Republicans themselves) on board. Even if the Democrats win 55 Senate seats and a 30-seat House majority, they will STILL not expand the Supreme Court. Not because it isn't the prudent and wise thing to do (it is), but because is aging gerontocratic leadership is too scared to be bold.
- That, my friends, is why I believe radical solutions are needed. Any policies we wish to implement will inevitably be invalided by the Council of Six if they are actually radical enough to do what needs to be done.
- So let us abandon the United States Constitution from which the Council of Six derives its power, and begin anew - free from their accursed grip.
