  1. Kara held her daughter in her arms and kissed her forehead. She had been previously headbutted by her daughter.
  2. (Kara Klaus)
  3. Kara held her daughter in her arms. She smiled warmly at her. Sienna was a bundle of joy. A Man eater, she would be...when she grew up.
  4. (Kara Klaus)
  5. Sienna nuzzled her mother's cheek. She loved the affection she had from her mother. A part of her was sad. She hadn't seen father for some time. Just thinking about him made her cry a bit, but in her arms of her mother she couldn't remain sad.
  6. (Sienna A. Klaus)
  7. Tatsuo was extremely bored. His famiyl was doing their own thing and Aoki was visiting her mother again. Tatsuo had only been in a house with his niece Kara for about a day now and hadn't much time to talk with her and her new life. Tatsuo would sit quietly hoping for something to come up.
  8. (Tatsuo Ryozo-Nagano)
  9. Kara smiled warmly at her daughter. She missed Huxley terribly. Huxley had been gone far too long. In her heart, she believed he was dead. Until she got official word, she'd keep her surname as "Klaus" instead of changing her name back to "Draconis". She loved her Husband. Her Kids would carry on the Klaus name certainly, but she wouldn't.
  10.
  11. While holding her daughter, she turned to her Uncle and spoke.
  12.
  13. "Hello Tatsuo. How have you been, Uncle?" she asked the 18 year old of whom was her Uncle while she was older than him.
  14. (Kara Klaus)
  15. Kara concentrated; focusing her thoughts on Akrion. Suddenly, an "Astral Ambiance" appeared around her as she merged with her Star Companion.
  16.
  17. "Akrion, please tell me the truth. Is my Husband; Huxley Klaus, dead?" Kara asked her Star Companion.
  18.
  19. "Yes, he died in the war. I am sorry for your loss" Akrion's melodious voice said in her mind. Tears trickled down Kara's cheeks as she heard her Star Companion's answer. Out of all of the knowledge her Star knew, her Husband's death was one certainty the Star knew.
  20.
  21. Kara concentrated and then the "Astral Ambiance" vanished as her connection to her Star Companion was severed by herself.
  22.
  23. "My Husband is dead. My Star Companion told me so....I don't know what to do..." Kara said and hugged her baby girl close to her; tears trickling down her cheeks.
  24. (Kara Klaus)
  25. Tatsuo would smile greatfully at his niece in her truimph to take care of her kids with out Huxley. Tatsuo would look back infront of himself and stared into the void that was his mind. He thought to himself.
  26.
  27. "How many....How many have i lost to date?......How many more must i listen to in their failures and their cries? I lost Yuzu.....My brother....My Mother....My older brother...."
  28.
  29. Tatsuo hated lost, but hated loneliness more.
  30.
  31. Tatsuo turned around to see Kara crying. Tatsuo would be in complete shock and ask what was wrong.
  32.
  33. "What's wrong Kara?"
  34.
  35. Kara would sob more and explain that her husband had been killed. Tatsuo would only stand up and hug his niece to soothe her pain as much as he could.
  36. (Tatsuo Ryozo-Nagano)
  37. Kara cried and held her daughter close to her. Her Star Companion was always truthful to her. So when it told her her Husband had died, she believed it. She did ask it the question and got a response she didn't want.
  38. (Kara Draconis)
  39. Kara heard her daughter's broken words as she cried. She stopped crying and smiled sadly at her daughter.
  40.
  41. "Mommy's alright..."Kara said, smiling though she didn't feel alright. She wiped away tears with her free hand and then hugged her daughter and with a free hand; squeezed Tatsuo's should reassuringly.
  42.
  43. "Thanks, Uncle" Kara said to him, a small smile on her face. Her Husband was dead. There was nothing she could do about it. Her older children would have to know.
  44. (Kara Draconis)
  45. Sienna licked at her mother's face. She was worried. She'd hug tightly, not letting go as if her life depended on it.
  46. (Sienna A. Klaus)
  47. Tatsuo looked down to kara and frowned to her sadness. He knew the feeling of loss and felt it more times then his family did. He wanted to help as much as he cold, but didn't know how. He would look down to Kara's daughter and frowned more when he thought of the fact that the children would grow up without a dad.
  48.
  49. "Im sorry Kara.."
  50. (Tatsuo Ryozo-Nagano)
  51. Kara avoided her daughter's attempt at a lick. She then held her daughter tightly. She heard her Uncle's voice and nodded.
  52.
  53.
  54. "I'm sorry too, but I feel worse for my kids. Their Father is dead..."Kara said sullenly.
  55. (Kara Draconis)
  56. Ronan left the Frostvale square thanks to his Grand father telling him to go and seek out his mother. He didn't really tell him where the woman was, but he figured that she was in the huge home where their family normally resided. The toddler waddled over to the home and opened the door. He immediately felt the warm embrace as he abandoned the cold weather of Frostvale.
  57.
  58. He stepped inside and closed the door behind him before making his way over to the table where the trio sat down. He hopped up into a chair and looked at his mother with a quizical gaze. "Hi Mom! Grand-dad said to come, wassup?" He asked casually, his feet swinging back and forth as the chair was a little too big for him.
  59. (Ronan A. Klaus)
  60. She turned to Ronan and placed a hand on his shoulder.
  61.
  62. "Ronan. I am sorry, but due to recent events; I found out that your Father, is dead. He fought in the wars and died. I'm sorry, but it's true" Kara said. She heard her daughter crying.
  63.
  64. "Hush now my girl, be still and don't cry" Kara sang a lulliby.Kara rocked her daughter gently.
  65. (Kara Draconis)
  66. Ronan raised a brow as his mother reached out and placed her hand on his shoulder. He looked her in the eye, but remained silent. As she began, he wondered why she was saying sorry. Who knows, she might have been have been apologizing for keeping him locked up in the city and keeping him from seeing his friend. A little smirk came onto his face as he waited to hear the sweet words, however, things took a sudden twist for the boy.
  67.
  68. Instead of allowing his freedom, she in turn said that his Father was..dead. The boys eyes went dull, as if the life were taken out of them. His smirk vanished and his jaw slightly dropped instead. Was she..serious. No..she couldn't be, right? This was all some sick joke or something right? There was no way that his father could be defeated in battle, not by no Kaor Yokai or any of those things that Alexandyr had mentioned to him before.
  69.
  70. Ronan shook his head slightly, his mouth moving as he mumbled that it was impossible for his Father to die..not in a war..not ever. His body began to shake as silent tears fell down his still open eyes. The lulliby that his Mother was singing sounded more like a song of Death now, putting one to an eternal sleep as the information seeped into his head.
  71.
  72. "N-no..You're lying..No! H-he can't..d-d-die.." The child began, backing out of his chair and accidentily knocking it over befor falling to his rump himself. "You're lying!" He shouted as he quickly moved and dashed to the door, opening it quickly and leaving the house. He knew that his Father hadn't been around for a while, but that didn't mean that he was dead, right? He ran through the streets of Frostvale, tears draining down his face as he fled. He wanted to believe that it was a lie..but deep down inside he knew it was the truth.
  73. (Ronan A. Klaus)
  74. Kara watched as her Son turned to run off. Kara wanted to immediately go after her Son. However, she had a crying daughter to attend to.
  75.
  76. "Tatsuo, please try and find my Son and bring him back" Kara asked her Uncle as she held and tried to comfort her crying daughter.
  77. (Kara Draconis)
  78. Tatsuo would frown at the sight of the little boy that entered the room. He couldn't bare to watch as someone as young as him had to go through loss like Tatsuo did at his age. Tatsuo didn't want to tell im about his father's death, but Kara took that job instead.
  79.
  80. When all was said and done, Ronan went up in tears and Tatsuo couldn't help but stare at him.
  81.
  82. Tatsuo watched as Ronan denied the loss of his father. It was much like Tatsuo at his age when he lost his family friend Jennifer. Tatsuo knew of so many dangers, but felt powerless to stop it. When someone was lost he was right there and yet he couldn't do anything. He lost most of his siblings and a family friend. Now he lost his niece's husband. Though he hadn't known him for long, Tatso knew Huxley would be a great father, but it wasn't the time to bring him up.
  83.
  84. Tatsuo watched Ronan completely deny his father's death and ran out. Tatsuo wanted to leave him be to let him be alone for a moment, but his niece asked him to bring him back as to not leave him alone.
  85.
  86. Tatsuo grabbed is gloves off the table and ran after Ronan in high hopes to bring him back.
  87. (Tatsuo Ryozo-Nagano)
  88. Ronan darted out of the home, running as fast as his tiny legs could carry him. He weaved through the Frostvale crowd with relative ease, pushing past anyone who stood in his way. Soon enough he found himself traversing a very famaliar mountain path, tears falling from his face as he moved as fast as he could. He went up somewhat steep slopes, slid down hills and moved through thick branches before he came to a clearing, the same one where he usually saw his friend, though he didn't see her this time, nor was he there for her.
  89.
  90. He ran for one of the few trees that were in the clearing and rest his forhead against it. Tears were falling from his face and pooling into the snow beneath him. In between his rapid breaths he'd begin to punch at the tree, looking for some way to release his anger, the poor thing just happened to be his best bet at the moment. For the most part, Ronan was caught in between denial and rage. Refusing to accept the fact that his father actually died and angry at everything. His mother for giving this news to him. His Father for being so reckless and the person who managed to kill him. It seemed as though eveything was just going wrong for the kid.
  91.
  92. He continuously punched the tree until his hand had managed to break through, leaving a small fist sized indent in the bark. Afterwards he fell down and leaned his back up against it, bringing his knees to his chest and sobbing wildly.
  93. (Ronan A. Klaus)
  94. Tatsuo would bolt past the over whelming crowd of people in Frostvale's market. He would try his best to follow Ronan through the crowd, up a steep hill, branches, and an open clearing. Tatsuo knew what the boy was feeling: Denial, anger, rage, and sorrow. He had experienced this and more. He wanted to bring Ronan back to his mother so that he could share his pain with them.
  95.
  96. Tatsuo would follow Ronan up the steep hill and up into the mountians. Tatsuo had neer been up this high. He didn't have time to browse the area, but he couldn't help but look up at the sky.
  97.
  98. Tatsuo soon caught up to Ronan as he was hitting a tree with his fists. Tatsuo would walk up to Ronan and put a hand on his shoulder.
  99.
  100. "Ronan come on we have to go back...Your mother is worried..."
  101.
  102. Tatsuo had hoped that Ronan would take a bit of time and cool down before going back.
  103. (Tatsuo Ryozo-Nagano)
  104. Ronan looked up towards his grand uncle before dropping his head once again. Who cared if she was worried, if she really felt that way then she wouldn't have let his father die like that. Tears continued to roll down Ronan's cheeks as he let them out one by one, still breathing sporadically.
  105.
  106. He got up and moved over to another tree, hoping that his Uncle would understand that he just wanted to be left alone at the moment. As his tears fell, Ronan's aura came around him, almost as if providing solice for the chiild. Instead of lashing out and being wild as it usually is, it kept close to him, barely even moving as if it were hugging him tightly.
  107.
  108. "Why..?"
  109. (Ronan A. Klaus)
  110. ''Ronan.....I understand your pain...."
  111.
  112. Tatsuo watched as Ronan would moved from his current tree and went to another. He didn't want Ronan to end up hating anyone, mostly his mother. Tatsuo would knee down to Ronan's side and put him on his head hoping he would try to run.
  113.
  114. Tatsuo wanted to help any and al those in his family who had trouble. Tatsuo looked down to Ronan and smiled.
  115.
  116. "You know...i went through alot when I was your age...."
  117.
  118. Tatsuo thought it might help Ronan to know about his troubles of his life so that Ronan could make better choices then to run.
  119. (Tatsuo Ryozo-Nagano)
  120. Ronan brought his head up and locked eyes with Tatsuo as spoke, his own visage still looking rather dull. He listened to the man's words but only ended up shaking his head. He understood what Tatsuo was trying to do but as a child the words didn't really register to him.
  121.
  122. When Tatsuo was finished speaking Ronan only offered a few words to meet his. "What's that gotta do with me..?" It was a rather cold question to ask, but he had a point there. What was that supposed to mean to him? How was that supposed to console him?
  123. (Ronan A. Klaus)
  124. Tatsuo smiled half-heartedly when Ronan acted rather cold toward him, though e couldn't blame him. He wondered to himself.
  125.
  126. "What am I saying? Why should he care for the tragic past I dream of every night?"
  127.
  128. Tatsuo would stand up and pick Ronan up toom but only to stand him to his feet.
  129.
  130. "It may not mean anything to you...but it does to your mother....I know that your loss for your father is hard and dreadful....and i might not be able to help you and your family in ways to cope, but thats why your mother wants to make it work. Your dad might be gone...but your mother isn't. You should stay with her....How else are you and your sister suppose to get better? Your mom will need you for alot of things since Hux is not here...dont you want to help them? If you want to help, be strong for them...if you have to cry do it until you cant anymore. Ronan....you are going to be strong one day....dont you think you should start by being strong hearted?"
  131.
  132. Tatsuo would try to boost his confidence in order to keep him on his toes for his family. Tatsuo wanted to make sure he didn't do anything reckless as to pick fights or go out and get himself hurt. Tatsuo didn't know what it mean to be a good uncle or anything like a father to his own kids if he had any, but he wanted to save a life today if he could.
  133.
  134. "Ronan....what do you want now? Something that is possible to be given in the upmost of effort?"
  135. (Tatsuo Ryozo-Nagano)
  136. The boy was raised to his feet by Tatsuo. Though he felt like dropping back to the floor, he'd remain standing to listen to what the man had to say. The tears were beginning to slow down, but they pick back up when he mentioned his Father dying once more. He felt a sharp pang in his chest, as if someone drove a dagger right through it with no remorse. However, instead of tossing the mans words aside, he listened to him, actually taking what he had to say into consideration.
  137.
  138. Sure, he Father was gone but he raised an interesting point about his Mother and Sisters. They too were important parts in his life, and if he lost them as well then well he wouldn't know what to do. At the end of Tatsuo's initial speech, the boy burst out into tears once more,, letting it all out for good. When the man began speaking once more, he began to sniff and the stream of tears began to slow. What did he want? Something that was in the realm of possibility..
  139.
  140. He grabbed the hilt of his dagger and dragged it out of his sheath, creating a metallic shriek as he thrust it into the air, lowering his head as one final tear fell. He now looked Tatuo in the eye, a determind attitude took to him as he spoke.
  141.
  142. "I..want to be strong..!" Yes, strength was the answer to this solution. If he could become strong, he could protect them all from anything. Yes..this is what he wanted, and he would stop at nothing to look over his family.
  143. (Ronan A. Klaus)
  144. "So...you want power?"
  145.
  146. Tatsuo smiled greatly as he heard Ronan say those words. He was proud of himself for making someone with loss feel so much better. Tatsuo listened to Ronan's words and smiled greatly. He would reach out his hand and wait for Ronan to grab it.
  147.
  148. "If you want strength...then there are people who can help...I can help you with the begining stages. Is that alright?"
  149. (Tatsuo Ryozo-Nagano)
  150. Ronan reached out and grabbed Tatsuo's hand with his free one, nodding his head. Yes, power and strength are things that he wanted - things that the child needed, both for freedom and protection so said his mother. Maybe her talking so much about how the boy needed to be strong to walk around wasn't a good thing, after all having a child focus solely on getting stronger would never be a good idea, however, it was too late. The boy already had a one-tracked mind on getting stronger and it would take a lot to break that.
  151.
  152. His mind fell back to what his Mother was speaking about before, about learning how to use Sacred power and about how to embrace his Urayan herritage, though this would be difficult to do since his Father was no longer with them and he was the only Urayan the child knew. And just like that, it clicked, a single name coming to his head; Noelle. She was the one who was training Huxley, so surely she would be able to assist the young boy in his training, right?
  153.
  154. Though it seems for now that his uncle would be helping him with honing his skills, which he didn't mind either. "Mhm, i-it's alright..When do we start?!" He called out, hoping to get an immediate response, looking up to him with passion in his eyes.
  155. (Ronan A. Klaus)
  156. Ronan blinked a few times, looking at the cup hesitantly before grabbing it. Tatsuo wanted him to touch where his affinity was and pour his mana out into it? How was he supposed to do that exactly? The boy stared at the blue essence in the cup for several seconds before reaching out to touch it. His hand phased through Tatsuo's mana and it just lied there for a while before he closed his eyes.
  157.
  158. Not really knowing what to do next the boy simply closed his eyes and focused, his usual aura showing up around his body, but the mana remained the same color. He glared at the cup for several moments, wondering when it was going to change colors, stupid thing must be broken or something. Sighing a little, his aura would fade away and the boy began to think on how he could protect his family if he couldn't even get this simple task down.
  159.
  160. The blue essence began to change, getting brighter by the second until it was golden-white in color. It seems as though the boy's feelings for protecting others was shown in his nature, giving him the natural affinity for Holy magic!
  161.
  162. "Whoa! It changed!"
  163. (Ronan A. Klaus)
  164. Tatsuo would pay close attention to his newphew as he attempted to pour his mana into the area where his was. At first Ronan at failed to pour his mana in, but it was only his first attempt. Tatsuo would stare more and would believe in Ronan to pour it out.
  165.
  166. Tatsuo knew Ronan had the ability to fill it with the best of his might.
  167.
  168. Tatsuo would look closely as Ronan began to brighten his mana to a shade of a gold white. Tatsuo would smile and pat Ronan on the head.
  169.
  170. "Well done Ronan...It looks like....your affinity...is Holy magic!"
  171.
  172. Tatsuo was extremely happy that he was learning quickly. He would look down and left the cup on the table.
  173.
  174. "Well since we know that your affinity is holy magic, then you can start from there...i was luck to learn from my older brother who knew water magic and I got into it very quickly. I'm sure you will too."
  175.
  176. Tatsuo would close his eyes and smile at Ronan as he expected him to become strong.
  177. (Tatsuo Ryozo-Nagano)
  178. Ronan nodded his head a few times and smiled, only really understanding a little of what Tatsuo was saying. He figured that Tatuo wouldn't be able to teach him about Holy magic, so that was a dud, but perhaps he could help him out with something else? He rest the cup down gently and looked up to his uncle.
  179.
  180. "Let's fight! I needa git gud, fast too. Mom said I had to beat her..so I just gotta beat people til I can right?"
  181. (Ronan A. Klaus)
