"A ....date?"

"Yes, a date. You probably haven't even gone on one or even know how they work anyways, unlike me..."

In their homeroom of Hope Peak's Academy, Fukawa and Naegi were talking amongest themselves sitting in their assigned seats during the short break. Previously, Naegi had asked Fukawa for help on an English problem, but then the conversation changed to "dates" much to Naegi's dismay.  Fukawa was a natural when it comes to talking about literature and would be easily provoked into talking about love stories and the like as long as it involved Byakuya Togami.  Though in this case, it was Fukawa who had wanted to ramble on about it with someone.    Although Naegi wasn't one to normally talk about those kind of things, he decided to listen to Fukawa out of consideration.

"Ah, I was promised a date with Byakuya-sama if I had helped him with Japanese composition!! He asked me if we could do it today and I just couldn't resist!!! In such a lovingly way too, calling me an insignificant bug that refuses to die! That melted my heart oh so well~"  Fukawa heavily blushed, caressing the words that her beloved had said to her just moments ago.  A line of drool started to drip from her lips and her eyes lost focus of Naegi.

"So you say..." Naegi let out a nervous laugh.  He didn't want to necessarily waste any time since free time was almost over, but it would be impolite to interrupt a conversation, since Fukawa will likely not help him if he were to do so.

"Wait, are you saying you have a date with Byakuya-sama as well?! Don't you dare lay a hand on my man!!" Fukawa fumed.  Her teeth gritted against each other,  with her fists clenched as her eyes stared angrily into Naegi.

"No, no, I wouldn't do such a thing, Fukawa-san! Besides, we're both guys... he wouldn't swing that way anyways. I'm sure." Naegi affirmed to Fukawa.  "Togami has such high standards, that he wouldn't even think of dating men to begin with, Fukawa-sa-"

"Oh are you sure now?" Fukawa snapped at him. "For all I know, it's going to end up like Kantan Reiai where Akira-kun falls for Takeru-chan. With him touching the other all over, deeply aroused by his sweet uke nature, and eventually-"

"No, it's not like that at all!! I'd rather ask out Kirigiri-san out on a date and be all like 'Hey are you free tonight? If so, would you like to go the movies with me' kind of thing, you know?"  Naegi blurted out.  Before he had even realized what he had said, a familar calm voice replied to Naegi's statement.

"Sure."
