Generally speaking, Protoss was the only race that could threaten the GSL dominance of Terran idols, who are painted as Gods among lesser Protoss and Terran greats. This is evident in the fact that Terran has utterly dominated the GSL Code S tournaments - the hardest and most prestigious tournaments in the world.
