JOOMLA: Link Article ID Basic

For a basic 'direct' link, you would use the following syntax:

index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=N

where N is the Joomla! ID for the article you want to link to (which you can see on the Article Manager page). There are variations to the syntax that specify which menu item to highlight etc.
