  1. **Solarium**
  2.
  3. Solarium, a "Solar Observation Facility", was presumably constructed by Thinktronic Data Systems for Nanotrasen in 2045, because of "...recent revelations on the nature of the recovered devices", according to a data log you can find in the Thinktronic Robuddy factory.
  4.
  5. There are two spots where residual energy remains: on the teleport pad into the Solarium, and under the automaton itself. The residual energy implies someone (or something) was there relatively recently before we were, according to Cogwerks ("That's what the residual energy is meant to imply").

  7. The Automaton
  8.
  9. All of this information has been gained from Readster, and has been reformatted for easier reading:
  10.
  11. So a long long time ago, a race created a device for the purpose of creating, manipulating, channeling and controlling vast, vast amounts of energy. Like, totally insane bonkers amounts. This device was used to allow them to quickly and easily traverse space as they wanted. "This is great!", they all thought. Of course none of them really thought about the implications of bending space using nutzo amounts of energy and what effect that might have on the universe. "who cares? it works!" Then one day their device goes missing- stolen! A cult of very twisted and possessed people had taken it! For months the race searched for it but it was hidden deep within the depths of a planet. The cult studied the device, researched it, understood it, and eventually changed it to suit their own goals The device was now bringing about a dark, horrible world of nothing. However, this spreading dark meant two things
  12.
  13. they needed the position the device in a locations where it could harness vast amounts of energy
  14. a spread of the dark realm around it.
  15.
  16. These two things together led the race back to their creation just in time to stop it; with their advanced weapons they overpowered the cult and took the device back. They managed to reset it, but the damage was done. They knew what the thing could do now. Fearing what might happen they locked it away inside their vault in the hopes that nobody would ever find it again. Until one day... somebody did...
  17.
  18. Everyone made keys. Not all were designed for the device, but they all fit it.
  19.
  20. The Automaton was found on the moon. By whom, we don't know (either NASA or NT). It's also likely that the Pallid Mask is on the Automaton's face.

  54. Triggering a Disaster Round
  55. This section is under construction.
  56. this should all be wiki-ized
  57.
  58. In order to activate Solarium, triggering the disaster round, one must find all of the necessary keys and place them into the automaton. Most of these keys can be found off-station. Linked below is a list of all keys and other items that are probably important to Solarium, both actually and speculatively.
  59.
  60. Key and Item Information Sheet
  61. Sol
  62.
  63. It's our sun! It has been observed in multiple colors/forms, either as part of a disaster round or as admin shenanigans:
  64.
  65. Disaster: appears during a disaster round. Picture.
  66. Blood red: appeared via admin intervention as a reaction to you slashing your throat with a glass shard in the Solarium. Album of images.
  67. Blue: appeared via admin intervention as a reaction to shooting the sun with an emitter a bunch.
