Background: Sanoh was born to a rich family in the Krabi Province of Thailand. She attended the same primary school as her elder sister and cause a lot of mischief at school.
Sanoh was trouble as a kid — every night she'd come home guilty of another primary school 'crime', such as refusing to do her work and drawing on other people's books. Then it escalated to running out of school and tearing up the flowerbed. Her parents decided to take her to counselling when her behaviour didn't stop, and when that failed to have any impact they made her go to a boarding school for the last four years of education. There, her behaviour gradually improved and she began competing to become head of the student council.

Personality: Sanoh is what could be described as "socially awkward" - in every sense possible. She possesses a set of distinctive traits that could describe nothing else.
She doesn't understand various social norms. It's rare that she actually knows exactly what to do and what NOT to do in social situations. She often doesn't know when it's OK to start the conversation again, what topics are suitable to talk of and when, and what is suited to joke about and what is not. Obviously, this somehow loveable lack of understanding can lead to either weird or shy behaviour later on.
Sanoh can have a different impact than originally intended. It's common for her to joke about something and others to find the joke uncalled for, or to try and give a compliment, only for it to come off in a distasteful way. In other words, she intends to generate one result, and ends up generating a totally different one. This mismatch is a sign of her deficiency of social calibration.
Everyone has conversations that don't flow, have awkward silences or end abruptly. But for Sanoh, this isn't a particularly embarrassing moment. Her conversations are like a rough wagon ride on a bumpy country road: habitually.  She doesn't mind this and can laugh it off later, even if it happened during a lecture.
It's because of this, people have labelled her as socially inept; and quite rightly so. Her presence can only mean a stiff air full of tension, for whatever shenanigan her persona may get her into next.
Under the unappealing layer of AWKWARD, Sanoh is actually a pretty caring person. People often overlook her niceness, which makes her wonder if it's even worth it at all. She tries her best at any situation and although she appears to be innocently inexperienced, she actually has a lot of advice tucked under her sleeve. She doesn't make a perfect student council, what with her communicating problems, but since she has many good ideas "she's a valuable asset to the community".

+ she owns a Siamese cat, Winnie, who currently lives just outside the school. She comes into Sanoh's dorm a lot and she once sneaked her into class concealed in her bag.
+ she's only ever dated one boy — Taeil from her Physics class. They broke up after 2 weeks.

How You Met: During a student council meeting — she couldn't help but notice him. Then she found out what math class he had, and rescheduled all her classes so she could be in the same one as him. She wanted him to be on her team, so he would vote for her in the next elections, and she decided to start talking to him.

Interaction with Love Interest: She acts flustered around him, and always stammers when she says something to him. She tries to put on a cool image but she's always touching her hair and casually tucking her shirt in. He acts pretty normal around her, since he has no idea about Sanoh's crush. Occasionally he'll give her a glance while she's not looking, and he admires her adorable attitude around him.
