- For people with a considerable number of friends in their facebook account, maybe you already know what I am saying. We always see this kind of post in our news feeds, a picture of Jesus or any other images with “Like and Share if you love Jesus/God” and sometimes they also include a picture of Satan and put “Share for Jesus, Scroll Down for Satan”. And for people doing this thing they do not consider it as a form of blasphemy, on the other hand, there are many religious people that condemn using the picture or name of Jesus just to gain popularity.
- According to the #1 source of assignments for college students, Wikipedia, blasphemy is the act of insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence for a religious deity or the irreverence towards religious or holy persons or things. The word “Blasphemy” means “I Injure reputation” in the Greek language.
