Hawkgirl got close to Mister Terrific and whispered. “Distract him.”
“Gladly,” Mister Terrific answered, gesturing with one hand, moving his fingers.
ZZWOOM! Six of Mister Terrific’s metal T-spheres plummeted down to the park, swept across the grass, and swarmed around Metallo’s feet, spinning, humming, and crackling with energy.
Metallo looked down at the balls rapidly orbiting his feet. “Wha…?”
SHVOOOM! Hawkgirl swooped down, snatched Lois out of the cyborg’s grasp, and soared back into the sky, carrying her out of Metallo’s reach.
