  1. In some countries most people prefer to rent their homes rather than buying them.
  2.
  3. What are the advantages and disadvantages of renting a home?
  4.
  5. People in some countries would much rather rent a house to live in that to own one. One of the great advantage of renting a home is a much lower expense than buying one. People who like to change homes frequently would much rather rent a home instead of buying one. A big disadvantage of renting a home is inability to decorate it and furnish it as you would like, because landlords are often very strict about those rules.

  8. Young married couples often move around their country, in search for a better life. They would much rather rent a home for themselves than to buy one, because they are not sure when will they have to move in search for a job. Also, people who move to other countries in order to work mostly decide to rent a home because it is a much cheaper option for them at the begining. One great example for this is Germany, where 95% of people who come to work there decide to rent a place for themselves that to buy it.

  11. The downside of renting a home is inability to decorate it as you wish, because you are not allowed to by the contract. Many landlords forbid their tenants to make any changes in their home. The results is that tenants cannot paint the walls in the colour they wish, or tore move a certain peace of furniture or even change its location inside the house. This can often be very frustrting for many people because they get the feeling they do not have the freedom to make decisions about their own home. For instance, almost 80% of people who rent a home in Mozambique complain that their landlords are not allowing them to make even small changes in the home they rent.

  14. Renting a home can be a great starting point for creating your own home. It saves plenty of money comparing to buying a home, and it gives a sense of independance. Also, it‘s not too binding, so people can decide to move whenever they want. On the other hand, renting a home always brings a bitter feeling that you don‘t own the house and that you live by someone elses rules and wishes.
