love

I just want someone to share life with, however long or short that might be. Someone not just on a romantic/intimate level, but an intellectual level. Someone I feel like we share souls, or something. Someone I can wake up with in the morning and strike up a conversation about toe Napoleonic Wars being the first true World Wars, and she's totally into it.

Someone I feel like I can just *be* with, and the world stops for a moment in perfect synchronicity. Whether that's eating cereal in our PJs, taking a walk, or just in a room of silence.

Someone who 'gets' me, on a true level. A true, equal partner.

But people such as that are rare. Like a passing breeze that encapsulates all of spring, but is gone in a second.

Will I find her? I would like to think I would. But I have terrible luck. And my time is running out.
