Bruce Wayne a.k.a. Batman is in his 50&#39;s and has created the ultimate Batsuit but is no longer fully able to do the job so places the suit away and vows to never use it. Several years later and into the next century there&#39;s a new breed of criminal terrorizing Gotham City but Bruce has kept his vow. Terry McGinnis, a teenager whose father was killed because he was going to expose criminal activities at the company that he works for which just happens to be Wayne Enterprises. Terry comes across Bruce as he was being beaten by some thugs, he takes him to the mansion and he discovers the Batcave and the Batsuit; he takes the suit to get the people who killed his father. Afterwards Bruce decides to make him the new Batman and train him.
Fueled by remorse and vengeance, a high schooler named Terry McGinnis revives the role of Batman. Under supervision of an elderly Bruce Wayne, he fights crime in a harsh futuristic Gotham.
This is the best batman and superhero they need to make a real movie on this show its awesome must watch! The cool thing about batman beyond is he&#39;s a young cooler batman that goes to clubs and is in high school. If they make a movie I think they should make him in college though because he seems older then they make him out to be on the show. One more thing I think would be cool is if they got Val Kilmer to play Bruce Wayne because he was the best batman in my opinion and he&#39;s older now and they could age him a little more to make him look really old. Batman beyond should be played by me ;) I really think this movie will be made one day because its to great of a movie idea to pass up! It would make a ton of money on the box office.
I miss Terry so much now that everything is over...<br/><br/>Bring it back!!! Bruce is okay but I could never relate to him. He is my favorite of superheros but the Bruce Wayne side of him was still very much too mature for my tastes. Bringing Terry in there, not so much because he is a teen hero because there are plenty of those, but bringing him in under Bruce&#39;s shadow, is an excellent POV to try.<br/><br/>The villains are okay, but not worse than from Batman: The Animated Series. (which i loved, btw). If you watch BB then the Justice League Unlimited Episode &quot;Epilogue&quot; You will have a lot more respect for Terry.<br/><br/>I&#39;m sick of him making appearances of other shows, we need to bring Terry back for good. It is inspired by anime a good deal, which I&#39;m glad (im an anime fan) and the cold feel of Gotham is still there, just futuristic.<br/><br/>So all of you &quot;Bruce isn&#39;t batman, wah&quot; people get over it, because there are only 100 million other batman shows with him in it to watch. Let Terry have his show. And I love the old Bruce, that old man has bite, he&#39;s great and I&#39;m so glad he is still there. He&#39;s one of those guys who outlives everyone, you can tell. LOL!

&quot;Batman Beyond&quot; takes place about 40 years after the &quot;New Batman Adventures&quot; series. At the time of the show&#39;s release a precise date was given as 2039. Meaning Bruce Wayne quit being Batman in 2019 (as seen in &#39;&#39;Rebirth&#39;&#39;). This also means the episode, &#39;&#39;Epilogue&#39;&#39; takes place in the year 2054.  a5c7b9f00b
