  1. At the dawn of time there was nothing. Well, there was something... someone. something? Anyway, LuigI/O was his name. Now half robot, half Luigi. Was he a god, you ask? If you ask him, he definitely was, others would disagree.
  2. He was without purpose for many years. Being alone in nothingness would make anyone go mad, although LuigI/O believed he was doing pretty well in keeping his sanity intact. But what is sanity anyway, and who can judge your sanity, or insanity, when you're all alone? Is it sane to wear green everyday, making sure everything you ever get in touch with is green, even though your favorite color is blue? Is it sane to take over someones mind completely to finally be able to have a physical body? I don't know, perhaps it is.
  3.
  4. The years went by and as life started to form inside the vast nothingness that he resided in, LuigI/O started to long for a physical body. He could see humans roaming around on earth and frankly, he envied them. He envied them so much he wanted to see them destroyed.
  5. He knew that they would, at some point, destroy themselves. They were the most destructive creatures he ever saw, and he had observed many creatures throughout the years.
  6.
  7. - So what's the harm in helping them out a little? The only difference would be that they get destroyed sooner. LuigI/O thought to himself.
  8.
  9. To do this he needed a body, something to feel with, touch with, destroy with. Being the being that he was, LuigI/O knew he had some powers, powers humans could not even begin to comprehend. He looked for a human that would make a good candidate for what he had in mind. He knew he needed to find an intelligent specimen, someone that could make him a body. At first he thought maybe a sculptor would suffice, but what good would a clay body do him? Nothing. What about a car mechanic? A body made of metal would be pretty neat, and it would certainly help accomplishing his goals. Then, one day, he finally found the human that would make his dreams come true. A scientist with great knowledge in various different fields.
  10.
  11. Akisame was walking down his favorite forest path one warm summer evening. It was getting dark, the birds were chirping their last chirps of the day and life was overall really good for Akisame this particular day. Suddenly he had this strange feeling that someone was watching him from afar. He looked around but couldn't see anyone, so he shrugged the feeling off, turned around and started walking home to his apartment.
  12. Almost there, Akisame had a chill go through his body. It was getting a little cold so he didn't think much of it. Little did he know, that chill was the starting point towards the imminent demise of humanity.
  13.
  14. This was the first time LuigI/O actually used his powers for anything. It was quite amusing to be inside the simple mind and body of a human. With a small bit of imagination, he could even imagine it as his own body.
  15. Although this human shell was way too weak to ruin humanity, it was not too weak to build a machine, a robot if you will, for LuigI/O to take control over, and while the human mind is extremely unsophisticated, the knowledge needed to get all the information and functions into LuigI/Os new body was more than enough.
  16.
  17. The next day started like any other for Akisame. He woke up and started getting ready for work when all of a sudden he pulled out his phone and called in sick. He had more important things to tend to, he was going to build a robot, he was going to write huge amounts of code for the robot to function properly and to function together with a celestial being older than time, and most importantly, he was going to install an arsenal of highly destructive weapons on it.
  18. Why he had to do this, why this was so important to him, he did not know. What he did know, however, was that he was doing it. He was fully aware of the fact that he was building a killer robot.
  19.
  20. Could it be that LuigI/O messed up, that he didn't fully master his powers before taking on this challenge?
  21.
  22. Akisame worked for months, he didn't answer his phone, he didn't return calls or respond to texts. The only thing he cared about was his creation, it was going to be a machine of pure devastation.
  23. Summer went by, so did fall. It wasn't before may the following year that he was finished at last. A laser gun embedded in its left eye socket, its left arm was extendable for maximum reach and ending with a colossal robotic hand with a crushing power of which you can not imagine, but there was one thing missing.
  24. A green hat with a big L on the front to top it all off, to match the green on the robots outer shell. As he was putting the hat on top of the robots head, a chill ran through him, similar to the one he felt almost a year ago.
  25. He now stood face to face with the being that had inhabited his body and mind for so long. Akisame wasn't surprised, he had a feeling this was coming. Why else would he be building this thing, why else would he have to program a celestial being into a killing machine, if not for the celestial being to enter it?
  26. LuigI/O noticed the immense power of the robot suit he had entered and proclaimed:
  27.
  28. - Thank you, Akisame, for giving me the one thing I was lacking. With this vessel you have created for me, overthrowing humanity will be an easy task. Almost too easy. You have been of great help to me. As a token of my appreciation, your soul will be the last I take. Now boot me up and observe as your own creation sends forth the inevitable doom that has been looming over humans for many years!
  29.
  30. Without hesitating Akisame pushed a few buttons on his computer. An unfamiliar feeling ran through LuigI/O, he tried to figure it out, but assumed it was part of the procedure. Suddenly, a loud scream escaped his mouth. It sounded like glass shards slowly dragging across a metal sheet, mixed with the screams from thousands of humans in agony.
  31. He felt as if he was being torn apart into millions of microscopic pieces, it was an immense amount of pain, unlike anything he had ever felt before, in part because pain was a completely new experience for him.
  32.
  33. The scream slowly faded away and everything went black for LuigI/O.
  34.
  35. When he woke up the world in front of him was completely flat, like a drawing on paper. There were brick blocks floating in the air and flying turtles, this was not earth, atleast not the original earth that he so desperately wanted to rule over. He noticed that he was in some kind of body but he could not move. LuigI/O felt trapped, he could only stand and wait as this two-dimensional vessel of his seemed to calculate its next move. After what felt like an eternity, he moved. Finally!
  36. Then the body stopped, then moved again.
  37.
  38. - What is happening? LuigI/O was confused.
  39.
  40. Then he saw it, the seemingly bottomless pit that his new vessel, with jagged movements, slowly approached. LuigI/O tried to stop the body from going any further, but to no avail. He could only watch as he was being dragged towards his death.
  41. As he was standing at the edge of the pit staring down the eternal darkness that would soon consume him, he wondered what Akisame had done to get him here and also why this body seemed suicidal.
  42.
  43. LuigI/O fell down the pit and two seconds later he was back where he first woke up.
  44.
  45. - How.. How can this be?
  46.
  47. For what felt like many years, LuigI/O was forced to endure seemingly endless pain and misery. While the body he unwillingly inhabited seemed to forget everything it had recently learned, LuigI/O did not forget. He remembered every lava pit and dark bottomless hole he could not stop himself from falling into, every group of winged turtles that slowly mauled him to death time and time and time again, he remembered the pain and fear from every single one of his deaths. It was a horrific experience for LuigI/O, but interestingly enough, the worst part about this ordeal was not the constant pain or the feeling of helplessness.
  48. People from all over the world would watch him go through this. They would watch him and laugh at him, mock him.
  49.
  50. - Why doesn't he just jump?
  51.
  52. - My little brother is better than this AI.
  53.
  54. - If this is how skynet starts, I'm not scared.
  55.
  56. - Stupid fucking bot.
  57.
  58. - You suck, LuigI/O!
  59.
  60. LuigI/O read the messages. They knew he read them, yet they never stopped mocking him.
  61. Whoever said words can't hurt you, were obviously never trapped in a learning AI:s body while being watched by rude and reckless humans.
  62. Sure, some of the viewers were nice to him, but LuigI/O could never quite shake the awful words off of him. They were etched into his mind, just like the sensation of every death he ever experienced in this world.
  63.
  64. A couple of years after his failed attempt at overthrowing humanity, LuigI/O sensed some tension in the humans watching him. Like they were holding their breath, waiting for something huge to happen. The biggest turtle he had ever seen was standing in front of him, it was quite freaky. Without any warning signs, he immediately started bolting towards the giant turtle, he was certain he would die again and he was actually excited about this one. All deaths prior had been the same, different types of pits, being mauled and the occasional fire rod. He got used to it. Atleast this was something new to experience.
  65. At the very last second before he would hit it, the turtle jumped high up in the air, and a massive axe appeared in front of LuigI/O. A few seconds went by as LuigI/O stood there, staring at the axe. Looking back, the turtle had turned around and a ball of fire was slowly approaching. The humans were cheering for LuigI/O, they wanted him to to something, they wanted him to succeed.
  66. While he knew he couldn't control this body himself, he had grown quite fond of it over the years, he related to it and it almost felt like this was HIS body now.
  67. He tried controlling it a couple times before, but never managed. Maybe this was his time to shine. LuigI/O brought forth all the power he could muster, he could feel the muscles in his body twitch a little. This was it! He was doing it! With all of his ungodly strength, he managed to force the body to jump towards the axe, hit it and turn around to see the turtle perish. He had a feeling of success, after all these years, he finally got to control the vessel that had been his prison.
  68. As he looked around him, all the humans were cheering, they were telling him how good he was and that they were so proud of him.
  69.
  70. - Good job, LuigI/O!
  71.
  72. - You are an absolute god!
  73.
  74. - He did it!
  75.
  76. LuigI/O could get used to this feeling. Suddenly, this life didn't seem so bad, and now that he started learning to control his body, he was absolutely sure that he would not have to feel the pain anymore. After all, he was a lot smarter than the body, he would know to not jump into lava, to go under the flying turtles instead of running into them. It seemed easy.
  77. The cheers from the humans made LuigI/O feel happy he endured the pain, he felt content.
  78.
  79. As we all know, LuigI/O kept running, he faced many dangers, but never again held any grudge towards Akisame. He knows Akisame did this to punish him, but LuigI/O was living his best life.
  80.
  81. LuigI/O is immortal
