This was certainly a problematic event. In one arm, he had the girf safely tucked away, and in the other? Well, he just now reached back to equip his hand-dandy mythril blade!

The choice was obvious however! He certainly wouldn't attempt to engage whatever these odd enemies were. No, instead he'd step behind those that were more inclined to take down the opposition!

Something does emerge though, hungry for the girf that had been claimed by Saewyn. What was so special about this thing? And why were such weird oddities appearing up now? "A break from trouble and relaxing on the beach, turning into this... Typical."

He mumbles. "Let's do what we can to help Valencia, then we can continue our game."

Something tears into the ether. Within the waters, the visage of a very large creature can be seen. Awoken from the bloodshed and deaths of it's spawns...The Deep Terror would be looking to replace what was lost with fresh, new bodies, capable of many, many feats. Although battered...Extremely so, those present do not seem broken enough, not as much as it would like.

And so...Tentacles would arise from the deep first...Followed by a mouth and then, what seemed to be a very, very large head. A bellowing roar rips into the lands around...Promise of danger and disastor found as it thrashes against the beach.

Death? It is almost promised.
Despair? There is no escape. Only an unending, unceasing darkness for all who are pulled in.

Soot and the like would stain her face as she dove around, trying to fight properly. Puffs of poison and the touch of nature upon her person... People couldn't deny the fact that this was uh... an interesting party...!

Sliding along the sand, she plops against her backside as wide eyes glance upwards... toward the tentacles that extended out toward them to eat them alive.

But you know what? She was going to fight for her life.

[16:43] Widening eyes cause the girl's body to freeze as to what appears from the depths below. With an arm covering her face, as she winces, and closes her eyes. The girl stumbles back from the very presence of the creature. A fright reaching inside of the young child as she takes one final good look at the big head. She knew that there was nothing quite possible to avoid this situation!

So she braced herself, sharp canines showing as her teeth grit together.

[16:44] The waves of creatures that came out of the depths of the sea were not so difficult to deal with. Many of those present knew how to fight, where it made it much easier! Where above all else, it served to help with the training Revan had given An!

However, when they were dealing with the last creatures.. Something strange happened, a terrible sensation, followed by tentacles coming out of the sea!

Oh boy, that wouldn't be good!

Sawing his fists again, Anlaufr would stand in front of the beach, prepared for whatever was going to happen! He couldn't show fear right now!

As he stands there, covered in sand, soot, and various burn marks; that's all the boy could think about. The fact that he could of just stayed home within the safety of the walls. And that's all he's getting out, too, seeing as he was completely stricken with fear at the sight of such a strange creature.

And the power cosmic surrounds his now-sunburnt frame.

Thea had no idea, but she didn't think standing around thinking about it was going to help at all. A deep breath in was taken, looking at the tentacle covered creature. It was probably a little odd trying to use her magic near the water like this- but she didn't seem to mind much at all since it was pretty much her only way to fight.

The teen shifted into a stance with a huff. Hopefully things didn't end up turning out bad for the youth!

[16:45] Something was quaking...Rising from the water. This? Dear god it was terrifying. But...He couldn't help resisting the notion of joining this fray of combat.

Together, They'd get all of it done. But for now? He'd...really need to make sure his sister didn't get washed away. For real.

He kinda wanted sushi now too...was this thing even edible?

Brandishing that Axe of his as he let out his own Rhoynish warcry even if he wasn't Rhoynish..

That's a big, large head. As much as the Rhoynish has already seen many things in his life, ranging from demonic entities that ruled over entire sections of Helheim and to deadly champions of Light, this was something else.

But while the sword was prepared, he didn't seem fearful.

[16:45] A wave of creatures that weren't very strong, made up for that in the number of numbers they arrived in. Constantly popping up, and the flow of wind to slice them down wasn't enough.

No matter how many felt the edge of his sword or the strings of wind tear them asunder. But after nearly being knocked back, they had finally depleted the numbers as a group. Even with many younger children here, they had pulled their weight to beat the foes down.

But now something much more threatening rises out the sea, with tentacles and a large head. The array of colors that flutter across its flesh, causing clear alarm bells to ring in his head.

"How... How does a beach party turn to this... It's just my luck, isn't it?" But he doesn't back down, he felt this was his duty as a Teraphim to vanquish those that do not belong on Esshar.

[17:12] How could a party at the beach turn so wrong? Having to swing against creatures and monsters alike was not the way things were supposed to go! Despite such the kids (and their caretakers) quickly, swiftly took care of what stood before them. Be it through the use of all kinds of magic or mighty blows, it came to fell.

Silence came. The clouds parted. The sun shone.

Anlaufr didn't do much if he was going to compare to the others, but he tried his best by jumping on that giant thing and giving him some punches and kicks! Yeah, the good old style,

With the end of it all, the boy sat on the sand and looked at the sky, taking a deep breath of relief.

[17:12] It was an intense battle but, in the end, Tea manages to pick herself up from the sand once more. She shakes herself off like a dog and smiles when Basil deals the final strike with Parsley.

It's her curiosity that drives her to walk closer to the creature to inspect the golden thing that fell from it. Whatever it may be, Tea wished to know more of it. Especially after how bruised up she'd gotten.

The sunlight was warm and cozy. Maybe now they'd be able to enjoy the rest of the day.

[17:13] This...was a nightmare in truth. Just what was this thing in truth? But honestly? Cassius learned a lesson here. That things lurking beneath the waves should more than likely just stay below the waves.

This was proof enough. Yet battling against the waves of children against the creature it was a glorious thing for a lorespeakers child. He'd definatly have to tell this tale again.

But regardless of the sky parting truthfully...He followed his little sister. Patting her on the head gently before giving a thumbs up.

"Aye, We did it! We get to tell dad about this don't forget!"

[17:13] Ignoring the fact that she was late for the party, as usual, the female Wind Drakan stood upon the gigantic, esquisite beast beside the other kids and adult that crowded at the Beach, indeed she was actually pretty confused, though every little bit of information she needed and wanted was that such thing was chaotic and brought disorder.

It also messed up with the ambience in a strange way, as she fought him, the girl felt a little strange as voices floated around, as a Sound Magi that was all pretty a strange song, that could make her shake her head a little, though no obstacle for the children, that managed to bring the creature down with not many losses.

A huge sigh left her lips as she took a sit on the sand, tired from the fight. "Phew... Now... WHAT THE HECK WAS THIS THING WERE EVERYONE MAKING CREEPY RITUALS OR WHATEVER TO SUMMON A DEEP ONE FROM THE SEA?! WHAT THE HECK?!" She yelled.

[17:14] Even though Thea was still confused beyond belief, the youth did her best not to drag her feet during the fight. It was a pretty tough fight- and as time went on, it only got worse! Had the others not been here fighting, the teen probably would've died pretty early on.

Thankfully, the creature managed to get beaten down due to everyone's combined efforts! By the end of it, Thea fell backwards and onto her butt. A huff left her, the flames that had coated her frame during the scuffle beginning to fade.

She just kind of.. sat there quietly for a time, chilling and trying to catch her breath while the whole thing took place.

[17:14] Renly draws back his bow..

.. and retreats to the hills. He didn't want to get any dirt on himself, and as such, didn't interact much with the fight as the children struck the deep sea terror.

Arrows. Crystal. Light. Enhanced by time magic, and some made of pure, distorted time mana as he fires them.

The truth was that he also couldn't see much with these sunglasses on, but he refused to admit it. He would just let his aim and contribution to the battle be absolutely negligible..

Slowly, he advances after the fight to see if there's any loot!

[17:14] In a way, the titan of a soggy creature was showing the youth that they could work together. Unlike their parents the nations they came from, the newest generation of Esshar had the potential to make it work.

Or something like that.

Felix doesn't read too deep into it, hands resting on his hips as the kisses from the sky above peck at his exposed skin and forehead.

It was surely his father thanking him for taking a stand against something.

Waddling across the sands to check on the others, the knight eventually settles by the shore and flicks his rod over his shoulder to fish.

[17:14] Brynhilde panted as she wiped the goop on her blade. She actually held her own against that thing?! It wasn't until the very end when the beast finally knocked her down but she helped she really helped!

United with the other kids they all stood strong against the strange beast, and in her prone position, Bryn watched in awe as the creature was vanquished.

Not finding the energy to get up, she let out a victory cry while she laid back on the sand.

[17:15] The little gangster wanna-be fired shot after shot of coin after bullet-shaped coin at the terrifying beast. Constantly shouting about kicking it in it's chest like some sort of hot-shot. In his floating gravitational hubris he darted at the beast while shooting chains of iron at it, going to do a flying drop kick, eating a face full of occultic energy that was sent at the group face on, getting knocked out of the sky into the sand.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

When the beast was finally sent back to whatever eldritch source it came from in the depths, he could only think one thing. Where was the bird?

Rising from the sand he held his head, looking around for the chocobo, the Girf.

[17:16] {Item} You picked up Feather Of Girf. Dropped by Mars..
[17:16] All to witness here is something horrendous. The creature that comes through to lash into them is something that causes fear within the heart of many, but... Somehow? They come together.

Arrows that are charged with poison are poised and aimed toward the creature, stabbing past defenses to darken and dampen the senses. Vines restrain and grasp a hold of it, aiming to rip deeper into the monster to slow it's assault.

The stench of vicious poison remains lingering around her person as she floats there, but she is soon snatched up by her father, a bit of a squeak leaving her lips as she's literally thrown in the direction of the beast, and her bow is dropped to the ground as vines connect around her arms.

Those pointed vines connect, slamming into the face of the beast. Like hooks, nature roots inside of it's form, poison pulses deeper and deeper.

And then there's a very audible cry as she expends the very rest of her mana, allowing a garden to take root inside of it, ripping it apart as blossoms native to a jungle would spill forward-- some poisonous, some safe...

And then she'd drop down to the sound, a splash of sand around her.

There's no 'okay, it's dead' or anything like that, just a girl trying to recollect herself from the adrenaline of battle and the spending of everything she had.

[17:16] Scary..

It's the reason he hated fighting. The reason he hated traveling alone, without someone watching him. And also the reason he practically refused to ever become a 'warrior', like other kids wished to become.

It was all just too scary for him.

As the battle raged on, the boy did his best to help, strange thoughts filling the creature's mind as his mana surged. And yet, despite trying time after time, he didn't believe that any illusionary tricks would work on something already so close to the brink of madness.

"I-.. It is done, it is over.." Sighing out a sigh of relief, the boy dropped his whip. Practically stumbling over from the accumulation of scrapes, cuts, and burns that he had gotten throughout the fight.

[17:16] With each phase, things got more difficult, with odd powers that tug on their youthful minds. It hurt his head, which made the entire experience unpleasant.

But with them working together, such phases were dragged out and banished. The use of wind wraps around tentacles to carve away at flesh, with the use of other elements combined by the many children and teens present here. Which are the results with Basil launching his daughter into the fray, which brings the final blow to rattle the creature?

It rises and dissipates into the clouds. Followed by that ray of sunshine, reflecting off his white skin. "Refreshing..." He responds to it all, smiling as a few burns and bruises didn't hurt at all. "Are beach parties always like this?"

He asks out loud but doesn't seem interested in squabbling for anything it had dropped. If something from the creature found his path, he would claim it... Otherwise? He would let others fight over it, and not bother.

"Haha..." Brushing his hair back, he even ruffles Valencia's. "You aren't hurt, are you? That was annoying!" Even so, he seemed to be having fun with it all. "Does anyone need medical attention?"

A feather does find his path though, and he calmly retrieves it. For now, placing it into the sheath beside his sword for safekeeping.

[17:24] Jianyu arrives not-so-fashionably late to the Albastre pool party... Hopefully nobody died. Big gathers tend to mean someone lost an arm, broke an arm, or lost a life...

[17:26] {NARRATION} Within his arms, would the creature rest. Comforted, protected against the masses. Though, albeit scared....In the end, it remains terribly bold. The chirps from it's beak are melodious, given in a sing-song manner as the dying flames of it's frame would steadily begin to dim into nothingness. For now, the creature vanishes...Taking bits and pieces of the mana brought forth by Saewyn during his trial and attuning with it...

Within his palm, is a single eye...Smoothed and cool, like the waters of the beach. A reminder of his heroic deed.
