CHANGING TIMELINES – CHANGING DREAMS

One day…, while driving down the same paved road that led to the empty lot…, I was shocked to see a large house standing where once there was nothing.

..... my mind created all sorts of excuses and scenarios as to why that HOUSE was there today, and was not there yesterday.

“…Well, we live in an area where people can buy homes and then “move” them by truck and put them on property that they’ve just bought…., “this must be it…” I thought…” “Someone just bought that lot…, and now they’ve moved an old house there…, case solved!”

The very next day…, I walked down the paved road so that I could “prove” my theory! I expected to see this big house standing on some sort of moving device, and a brand new foundation being built under it.

(No such luck)

What I found was no longer an empty lot…, but an entire “filled” property with not only an “old” house on it…, but a detached garage…, several other smaller storage building (falling apart) a large fence around it all, tall grass and weeds, and tons of junk in the grass suggesting the house had been there for YEARS!

The strange part is that almost everyone I talked to “remembered” the house as always having been there.

You can not imagine the looks I got, when I started asking people just “WHEN” the house at the end of the road “showed up” there.

“It’s always been there!” was the most often reply!

BUT NOT EVERYONE REMEMBERED IT!

There were a few…, only a handful, who remembered that the lot up until only recently was totally vacant…, and was a perfect spot to stand and look out over the hills.

Here is the question. WHO WAS RIGHT?
