  4. A stairwell located behind the counters in the building shell above leads down into a subterranean sea of tech and creation hidden under the vibrant gardens of the old factory property. The stairs let out into a large, wide open space filled with shelves, cabinets and cubbies stocked with any number of tools and supplies for electronic and mechanical work, with several large and well lit work benches set against the walls for anyone to use.
  5. Energy efficient bulbs cast a pleasant glow over faux hardwood floors and white painted walls dotted with living planters that spill bursts of greenery amidst the steel and plastics. The hum of computers and electricity sneak through the ozone scented air alongside whiffs of flower scent and the occasional chirp of a cricket that's found its way down here, and there are vents above 3D printers and autolathes to send fumes outside. A few small, fairly spartan rooms set off to one side are equipped with beds for short term stays or just for napping between projects. There's also a large closet housing cleaning products and solar batteries.

  7. Through a set of doors is another large room, it's floor sunken down by several steps to create a very high ceilinged space fit for Crinos forms. This entire area has been given extra sound proofing beyond the natural earth surrounding it, protecting even the workshop from its noise levels, and visa versa.
  8. The floors here are stone and scored with scratches, with stone columns supporting the ceiling above. The walls and ceiling are covered in what amounts to massive plasma television screens creating a false view of lush forest, green fields and sky, or whatever is selected from the central controls. Elaborate and experimental sound and lighting systems have been installed throughout and a few small tables and chairs are placed near the walls. The room can be used for experimentation, bot battles, target practice, or even as an unusually high tech space for reveling or meditating city Garou. It has been known to break out some comfy chairs, controllers, and putting up a table with snacks and drinks so those who chose can play video games on those massive screens, including 'Untitled Goose Game'.

I know that is not news to anyone familiar with Great Uktena's tribe. I know a rite, beneficial to all that I would be willing to maintain for the Sept yet to be. I feel we should take this in multiple ways. Having River's elder come to deal with her situation, was the right thing to do. But they are not Garou, and I do not know if that is something we want to have around the Caern. River is her own problem, and not representative of all kinfolk at all. I think we will need a set of very basic rules, much like our litany, that we expect all visitors to abide by."

  807. Atloe looks at the two rats, glances at Jasper, then them. He shuffles the box he has and pulls out two angel hair pasta threads for them, one for each, setting it before them carefully. As for the dish, he gets the pasta going properly and then filters it out into the sink. Once the liquid is gone, he gets it into the now heated pot and stirs it together, another careful taste, then a nod of satisfaction. Shutting off the fires, he grabs some plates and forks, bringing the food over to near the others. "Ok.. This should be pretty good, far as I can tell. Welcome to help yourselves. Plates and serving spoon here."

I asked the Green Shape in the umbra, but she didn't know. Maybe she was expecting payment."

  823. Atloe would start serving food on the plates. Offering to Brooke, then Iris, before offering to Burt, then Jasper. Once that's done, he would get a smaller plate and fish out a bit of the strands, pasta and a bit of one of the meatballs to offer to the rats. Glancing over at Jasper, he muses. "Why not just use a reverse gravity oslator within a plasmic medium to keep a board up? We got the parts you could build one here. Tuning is hard though."

  826. "Well..." Iris stops to legitimately think about the whole thing and says, "The inbetween space does have some turbulence. You've got your lunes to dissorient you of course, solar currents can work against you as well. It's not quite as bad in the space between the earth and the moon because it's a relatively short distance, especially if you're *on* a moonpath rather than flying. If you want to really play things safe, I'd suggest a real good prayer and offering to Helios to ask that he not cock up your trip. The lunes you can probably figure out easy enough. The moon itself is probably where you'll get tricky stuff. You need to be real aware of the moon's phase, and the challenges you'll face will stem from that. It's just how the silver lady and her minions roll. If you know your phase, you can prepare well. Bring your puzzle kit or prepare for battle with random things. There's a crap ton of cats up there, pretty sure they're not all nice but they're very interesting none the less. And bring water or the ability to create it, cause there ain't none there."

The rats don't give any verbal thanks, they just start to stuff their long, rodentine faces. To departing Burt, he waves a hand, languidly, "Good night."

  835. "I think a broad scope warning about the moon is just that the straight or easy path isn't always the right one." Iris says to Burt, "Like flying would definitely be faster, but then you're also at the mercy of zero g's confusion when the Lunes start coming at you to trick you into going the wrong way. A moon path is definitely slower, but then you only have to worry about accidentally falling off and making sure you're not taking a wrong turn. I think that has something to do with wanting people to earn her presence and favor, probably. Have a good night! I'll send a string around with some info for you."
