Keeps going and going and going

> You own a fluffy pony
> Every day when you get back from work, you spend an hour or so playing with her
> Sometimes you help her stack her blocks, or sometimes you roll a ball back and forth
> After about an hour, fluffy pony gets tired and you have to put her to bed
> One day, you're playing with fluffy pony
> Ask her if she wants to go to bed yet
> She tells you she's not tired, she wants to play for a long time
> She keeps nosing her ball back and forth
> Soon she starts yawing
> Pick her up and carry her to her safe room
> Fluffy pony complains sleepily that she isn't tired
> She keeps going on about her bunny
> Odd, she usually she asks for her bear to sleep with
> Tuck her up in bed, and give her the stuffed rabbit to cuddle instead
> Go and cook dinner
> After sleeping, check the safe room to see how fluffy pony is
> She's lying on the floor next to her bed, with foam around her mouth
> When you pick her up, she's cold
> And you were doing so well at keeping her alive
> After you've got rid of the body, try and watch TV to take your mind off things
> The remote doesn't work
> On further inspection, the batteries have been removed
> The batteries are also missing from the Xbox controller
> The box of spares in the cupboard is empty
> The pink bunny on the front stares up at you, grinning
> Fluffy pony must have swallowed all the batteries so she could play longer
