  9. Reposting the unfinished stories from the last thread:
  10.
  11. >I really ought to be doing paperwork right now, but screw it, I'd like to see them do anything about it if I turn it in tomorrow. Here's a new CUDdle-verse fan story. We're gonna get a little spicy this time.
  12.
  13. >>The Radio Demon leaned against the bar, amused in spite of himself at the base antics that had taken place over the evening
  14. >>Husk had stumbled in earlier brandishing a bottle of...something or other
  15. >>Something he'd evidently been quite fond of in life, and that was quite difficult to come by here in Hell
  16. >>If he was to be believed, it was among the finest expressions of the liquor to be had anywhere
  17. >>Alastor had declined to partake, as that sort of refreshment rarely agreed with him, but many of the others had
  18. >>Baxter, perhaps unsurprisingly, had tapped out after only a small serving
  19. >>'Small' by Husk's standards anyway. The feline demon poured rather generously
  20. >>Niffty had matched his pace, but she carried it quite well. Truly impressive for someone her size.
  21. >>She'd guided her lover out of the room to 'rest his head' after it became apparent he needed no more, she herself marching out straight as a soldier
  22. >>Angel Dust had shown astonishing restraint, electing to step away from the bar after only three drinks
  23. >>He explained that his duties had left him rather tired as of late, and that a 'little nightcap' was all he really needed
  24. -
  25. >>That left only Charlie and Vaggie besides himself.
  26. >>The two didn't typically drink either, and they'd made the sensible choice to nurse their glasses carefully
  27. >>Neither one was properly drunk, but they certainly were laughing just a bit easier than usual
  28. >>Humming along with whatever tune came on the radio a few bars earlier
  29. >>Caressing each other just a little more frequently than they usually would
  30. >>Even he could see where this road probably led
  31. >>And with Husk having finally retired for the evening, he sensed he might soon be a third wheel to the sort of merriment that could unfold here
  32. >>He sent a polite nod in the general direction of the duo, too engaged in their own conversation to notice him, and headed for the stairs
  33. >>He only made it a few paces away when he heard a voice call out
  34.
  35. >>"Aaallll~"
  36. >>Alastor tensed up for a moment, before forcing himself to relax. He knew that special tone of voice
  37. >>Charlie was coming in for a hug
  38. >>Now that he had 'gotten over the hump', as it were, and the worst of his discomfort had been burned away, she and her partner had eased back a bit
  39. >>They'd gradually gotten into the habit of announcing themselves when they wanted to cuddle
  40. >>On some occasions verbally, before they even came near, in other instances with a just a light touch to forewarn him before they drew any closer
  41. >>Well, sometimes. He was still a target for cuddly sneak attacks if the right mood struck them
  42. >>Still, in either case, it was becoming easier with time to accept their affections without flinching
  43. >>He was beginning to find it rather agreeable
  44. -
  45. >>He swiveled on his heel to face Charlie
  46. >>She was already wide open
  47. >>"Ya leaving us?"
  48. >>She took a step forward, but still not within arm's reach
  49. >>She wanted him to come to her
  50. >>His smile came a little more naturally
  51. >>He could do this, no trouble
  52. >>A few steps forward, hold his claws out away from him, lean in...
  53. >>Now he had a double armful of rosy-cheeked demon belle to hold
  54. >>"Yes darling. I must confess I am overtired, and now seems the opportune moment to settle in for the night."
  55. >>Charlie nuzzled against him
  56. >>"Yeah, that sounds reasonable..."
  57. >>She hemmed and hawed
  58. >>But...uhhhh...before you go..."
  59. >>Where could she possibly be going with this?
  60. >>Her grasp loosened and she pried herself away far enough that she could comfortably look up to meet his gaze
  61. >>She smiled, meekly, almost with a hint of embarrassment
  62. >>"Would you get too awful mad if I stole a goodnight kiss?"
  63. -
  64. >Alastor's heart skipped a beat
  65. >A kiss?
  66. >Had he heard that right?
  67. >His thoughts tumbled over themselves
  68. >This...well, it wasn't a question he'd really anticpated having to answer
  69. >He locked eyes with the demoness in his arms, scrutinizing her, instinctively trying to ascertain what was REALLY going on here
  70. >Her smile faltered as she realized she may have gotten too aggresive, and she loosened her grip
  71. >"I mean, you don't havta. It's fine if you say no"
  72. -
  73. >"He'd better not say no!"
  74. >Alastor looked past Charlie, at the pastel-goth woman still sitting at the bar, leering at the both of them
  75. >"I hope you realize how lucky you are. You'd better not blow it!"
  76. >He felt Charlie give a little laugh and nestle up against him
  77. >"C'mon Vaggie, don't tease him."
  78. >She released him and made for her seat
  79. >It rapidly dawned on him that this was an unacceptable situation
  80. >That smug little moth demon had gotten the upper hand on him far too often lately, and if he didn't act this would just be her latest victory
  81. >"Charlie"
  82. >He steeled himself
  83. >He'd already overcome so much, surely he could face this too?
  84. >"It's quite alright"
  85. >He leaned down to give her easy access, turning his cheek as hard and far as he could, hoping to make it clear where he expected to be kissed
  86. >If he knew where it was going to land then perhaps he could better prepare himself
  87. >"Oh~ you~"
  88. >Charlie was back on him in an instant, arms encircling his neck
  89. >His heart felt like it could leap from his chest and go tap dancing across the floor at any moment
  90. -
  91. >*Smeck*
  92. >She was gentle
  93. >Maddeningly gentle
  94. >Like a silken vice
  95. >He strained to keep his usual smile steady
  96. >He strained to even keep his knees from wobbling
  97. >It was no wonder that half of Hell crumbled at her approach
  98. >Those obsidian lips could surely lay an entire army low if their owner had a mind to...
  99. >*Chu~*
  100. >She titled his head the other way and planted another kiss on the opposite cheek before he'd even had a chance to process the first
  101. >Then she placed a hand on the back of his neck and directed his gaze to meet hers, their foreheads resting against on another
  102. >Her eyes had shifted to their pure-crimson demonic form in the excitement
  103. >"Thanks."
  104. -
  105. >She blinked and shook her head
  106. >Her eyes returned to their usual hue
  107. >"You okay?
  108. >The cervine demon contemplated the question
  109. >His legs had apparently been transmuted to rubber without his prior knowledge
  110. >He could feel his heart beating at his ribcage like a woodpecker
  111. >The hot iron that was Charlie's touch threatened to melt him at any moment
  112. >...yet, he was in no pain
  113. >This was...well...this wasn't the worst thing he'd ever faced
  114. >His mind could appreciate that, even as his body rebelled in panic
  115. >"Quite fine, Darling. Quite fine."
  116.
  117. >"Well that's very nice..."
  118. >Alastor shivered as he suddenly felt velvet-covered fingers trace from the back of his neck all the way to the base of his spine, before finally sneaking beneath his coat and coming to rest on his tail
  119. >"...But I'm afraid we have a small problem"
  120. >The Radio Demon looked away from Charlie and toward her decidedly sharper-edged compatriot
  121. >She shined a self-satisfied smile up at him through half-lidded eyes, even as she gently caressed his tail
  122. >"If you're going to just make out with my girlfriend right in front of me, then I'm going to need a kiss too. That's the toll."
  123. -
  124. >Alastor returned the smile. That was one task he could manage with no trouble.
  125. >He should have known to expect as much from the likes of her
  126. >"Very well."
  127. >He closed his eyes and turned his face. He'd made it through one kiss already, another surely couldn't harm him.
  128. >He heard Vaggie chuckle. There was a sinister slant to it.
  129. >"No no, you misunderstand. I'm not giving, I'm taking."
  130. >With that, she swept her luxurious sweep of silvery hair to the side and turned her cheek to him
  131. -
  132. >He felt his grin falter, about as far as he'd ever let it
  133. >A blush ignited his face
  134. >The intensity of which hadn't afflicted him since...well, since this same little sadistic snuggle-crazed demon had first gotten hold of his tail
  135. >She wanted HIM to kiss HER?
  136. >Madness
  137. >Beyond the pale
  138. >Suspicion, that oldest and most faithful of companions, tried to make himself known again
  139. >There was something at play here
  140. >Something he wasn't seeing
  141. >This was a ploy, a plot. It had to be.
  142. -
  143. >He'd been tricked
  144. >Hoodwinked
  145. >He knew precious little of the rules that governed an intimate relationship, but it now occurred to him that he'd been lured into violating one that even he could understand with no trouble
  146. >He'd taken a kiss from someone who already had a partner
  147. >He'd painted a bullseye on his back
  148. >Cruel vengeance could now be wrought upon him and no one would even bat an eye
  149. >He-
  150.
  151. >"Al."
  152. >Vaggie's voice pulled him away from his own thoughts
  153. >She smiled up at him
  154. >Genuine
  155. >Soft and sympathetic, lacking the sadistic bite that usually lurked beneath
  156. >"This isn't a trick. Or a test. You can take it as it is."
  157. >He wasn't sure what chilled him more, the thought that there was something sinister behind this, or the thought that she meant what she said
  158. >He leaned forward
  159. -
  160. >It was more sound than touch
  161. >The moment he felt the barest touch of her skin against his he moved his lips to make the proper sound
  162. >It had been so long that he'd all but forgotten the actual mechanics of the act, all he could do was imitate what he'd seen from afar and hope it was sufficient.
  163.
  164. >His task completed, he pulled back and examined the two women before him searching for some sort of sign
  165. >Vaggie spoke first
  166. >"Good job"
  167. > In a flash, she grabbed him by the collar, pulled him down, placed a kiss directly on his lips, and released him
  168. >"I'm proud of you."
  169. -
  170. >"OHMYGOOOSSSSH"
  171. >Charlie pulled the both of them into a tight squeeze
  172. >"That.Was.So.Cute!"
  173. >Well, it seemed he hadn't committed any serious trespass after all
  174. >Vaggie's petting of his tail reinforced the notion
  175. >Charlie's hand soon joined hers, sending a delightful buzz dancing up and down his spine as they both caressed the little cloud of fluff
  176. >He let the tension and fear slip away, remembering how good it could be to be touched
  177. >He had to remember
  178. >The status quo had changed
  179. >Trickery was out the window
  180. >Among a certain set, at least
  181. >It was okay to accept the golden apple being held out to him
  182. >He was safe here
