Rest assured, for we ensure that everything is fine-
It's a thing that we must bring to you to underline,
the seats are full, the gang's all here, there is no need to fret!
Do you believe? What, we-deceive? Have we bamboozled yet?

A family we mean to be, for in my burly arms I hold
patriarchal strength to grasp the length of every young and old
in sweet and soft connubial bliss, with vibrant zeal and pep
go rank in rank and hand in hand in matching, locking step.

Belie the evil tongue that spurns, the comment chafes, the syntax burns!
For who, like me, with eagled breast, uplifted in Old Glory's turns
has done so much, has wept so true, in duty served myself to you
that you may soft, recumbent rest in virtual fields of golden dew?

All tongues are heard, no ear is deaf to wailing cries and woes
save those that we unpleasant deem, harsh though it is, that's how it goes!
Democracy we mean to be, and in that truth's shade I might note
that man and vote essential be-I am the man, I have the vote.

Dissent that's spent in discontent, in dissonant and grievious bent
we'll not allow in shape or form to violate the group content-
