40.
Amputee - Seba has no right hand due to a failed pickpocket attempt and ensuing punishment for being caught. What remains is a rounded stump that has long healed over with a few scars visible.
41.
Scar - There is a long, jagged scar running across Seba's throat caused by a knife wound. Luckily, the knife missed her jugular. Unfortunately, it caused extensive damage to her vocal functions.
42.
43.
44. [h]Overall Personality:[/h]
45.
46. Seba is a quiet and reserved individual. She is almost always lost in thought when there is little to do, and the nature of these thoughts are largely based around who her parents were, and why they abandoned her. She prefers to keep to herself and doesn't appreciate it when others try and privy into her business. Seba is wary of many people, and trusts nobody. Although she considers herself the only person she can trust, this does not mean that Seba is a paranoid individual. When it comes to mingling with others, she is more than willing to do so if it benefits her. Otherwise, she draws her line at putting her fate in the hands of others, and she never hesitates when it comes to surviving. She'll put herself before anyone else, regardless of the consequences.
47.
48. In rare cases, Seba could consider someone more than just an acquaintance. Since she has never had a friend in her life, she can come off as an awkward individual. She is unused to not having to stay on her guard, and it will be tough for her to adapt to such a change, even when she tries her best to be "normal" around such individuals. Because of these issues, Seba is always reluctant to grow attached to anyone, and her most common coping mechanism is to forget all about the people she's met after her business with them is done.
49.
50. Seba is an somewhat mediocre thief and an abysmal combatant due to being sheltered from the outside world for most of her entire life. Despite this, she at least learned how to handle a weapon in the span of her first two years of freedom. She prefers to attack by surprise, retreat, then repeat the process to confuse and ultimately defeat her foe. Dirty tactics are not beneath her, and it's likely that she would train her Pokemon the same way. When it comes to her more illegal activities, Seba places an emphasis on planning and preparation. She can spend days planning the perfect burglary until every detail, variable, and outcome are nailed down and accounted for. Even pickpocketing becomes a serious affair for her, as she will spend hours scouting a crowd for the perfect mark. All of this preparation has meaning. It was because of her hastiness that she lost her right hand. In addition to her own skill, Seba prefers smaller, more agile pokemon to accompany her in battle or even during thievery attempts.
51.
52. While Seba is a criminal who doesn't think twice about breaking the law, she prefers to avoid murder unless it's absolutely necessary. Convincing her that someone needs to die is enough to prevent any problems that might arise from a planned murder.
53.
54. Because Seba was isolated from the world for over seventeen years, she knows next to nothing about Harper, save for how to navigate it, and even then that knowledge came from books. Living outside of a house for two years has made her somewhat street smart, but that's about it. She has survived this long largely by her cunning and resourcefulness.
55.
56.
[h]History:[/h]
57.
58. Once, a young girl was born to an impoverished family of fishermen in Cypwater Point. When her mother was pregnant, her family was faced with a heartbreaking decision. Have another mouth to feed, or give up their first-born child for much needed gold. In the end, the parents rationalized that their daughter would be better off working with someone who would ensure that she would be well cared for. And so the two parents sold their daughter to a lifetime of indentured servitude for a sum of one hundred gold. Upon arrival to Cape Augustine, the girl was purchased by the Decintis, a wealthy and elderly couple whose lifelong wish was to raise a daughter. The couple, upon returning home with their "daughter", decided to name her Anja.
59.
60. For the next seventeen years, Anja Decinti was raised in isolation. She received little education beyond information about the various cities and ports, largely due to the Decintis not wanting her to know anything about slavery. Instead, she lived most of her life spending time with the couple and caring for them whenever they needed her. In return, they gave the young Anja whatever she desired. Often, she would beg to be let outside for one day, at least, but she was always denied this request. The Decintis were paranoid that she would abandon them if she were to experienced the outside world, so they never allowed her to leave their sight. Anja's "mother" even went as far as to have her back branded with a large D as a precaution. It was a lonely, if a bit of a comfortable existence. It gave Anja plenty of time to think about her life, and her "parents" that she looked nothing like. Once, she asked her "father" if he and his wife were really her parents. In response, she was confined to her room for three days without food. She didn't ask any more questions after that.
61.
62. During her teenage years, Anja began to grow resentful of her "parents" who only treated her like a thing that needed to be preserved. She began to openly defy their orders, and the couple, now well in to their nineties, could do little to punish a healthier seventeen year old woman. With a fleeting sadness due to their apparent failure to raise a daughter that would support them for the rest of their lives, they worked towards hiring an assassin. Selling the girl would be too much of a hassle, after all.
63.
64. Luckily, Anja's curiosity began to make her more bold. During the night, she would often sneak through the house and rummage through various drawers and dressers. One night, after mustering up the will to investigate the Decinti couple's room, she found a sealed document, which confused Anja greatly. The Decintis never sent letters. Reading it only confused her even more, the document described a transaction between a peasant couple in Cypwater Point, the Trenbeaths. The transaction went into the couple's agreement to sell their unnamed child into indentured servitude for the rest of her life. It was then that Anja realized, horrified, that the child's physical description matched her own.
65.
66. Over the next few days, Anja kept the document on her at all times. She read it every night as if to reassure herself that she was not dreaming, and that the Decintis were not her real parents. Her real parents had sold her into slavery for only one hundred gold coins. Anja began to formulate a simple plan: Escape, go to Cypwater Point, find her parents.
67.
68. The following night was the night Anja decided to make her move. Breaking into the couple's room for the last time, she stole a set of the husband's clothes, along with his old and elaborately decorated dagger. As she changed from a dress into traveling gear, Anja used the dagger to shear most of her hair off. Finally, she shed her old name, a name gifted to her by false parents. Seba came to mind, it was the name of a long dead Guard who was recognized for his cunning.
69.
70. As Seba made for the exit, she found the door blocked by a man armed with a simple crossbow. What followed was an intensive chase, and Seba barely escaped the assassin with her life. Though the cost was great. He managed to cut her throat, but while it did not hit her jugular, Seba found talking to be an incredibly painful task. Something she would have to adapt to over time as she began her new life in the outside world.
71.
72. Over two years, Seba used her knowledge of the region's geography to navigate the land. It was then that Seba realized that she had no viable way to earn money, and she had no supplies as a result of this. Then she remembered back to how she always sneaked around the Decinti house undetected. She tried to add stealing to her talent for staying hidden. She found the process of thievery to be very rewarding, and somewhat exhilarating. She began to grow reckless, and it cost her dearly on a bad day. She was caught trying to lift a nobleman's money purse, and the nobleman, feeling no pity for the young thief, dragged her to the guards himself. As punishment for attempted thievery, two guards held her down while a third amputated her arm with a hatchet. Seba then spent time with a healer until she recovered, where she was thrown back onto the street.
73.
74. It took Seba a very, very long time to adapt to her weaker left hand, but soon, self-practice made the transition complete. She would never be able to swing or thrust a dagger as hard as she could with her right, but it was enough. It was just another challenge to overcome, and Seba, as always, overcame it.
75.
76. Seba's travels finally brought her home to Cypwater Point, and she was appalled at the thought of being raised in such a lawless, chaotic port such as this. None-the-less, she was determined to find her parents. Cypwater Point was the end of the road for her.
77.
78.
[h]RP Sample:[/h]
79.
80. Seba was dumbfounded, to put it in simple terms. Cypwater Point was always described as somewhat of a cesspool in the books, but see it in person was... eye opening, to say the least. The roaring laughter, swearing, and merrymaking seemed to meld together and create a fierce crescendo of pure unadulterated energy. It was as if the entire town was a enormous party without end. Seda could have sworn that she felt an adrenaline rush just by watching everyone.
81.
82. Come on, Seb. Stay focused... She thought, keeping her head low and making sure to stay well away from the various brawls and drunken debauchery while she made her way down main street.
83.
84. A short walk led her away from the celebrations in main street, to the ancient and somewhat somber looking port. I can hear myself think, finally. Thought Seba. Leaning against a stack of wooden barrels that reeked of freshly caught fish, Seba couldn't help but wonder why her parents would have risked having a child in this shithole of a town. Some of the men and women looked like they'd cut you for less than looking at them the wrong way, that is if they'd even need a reason to begin with. Was it a spur of the moment mistake? Or did they reconsider keeping her at the last minute? These questions only made Seba's frustration grow more and more, until she could not keep the hate she felt in any longer. Curling her left hand into a fist, Seba swung back and hit the wooden barrel as hard as she could. The pain was white hot, but it felt good. She hit the barrel again, twice, three times, cursing the ones who were supposed to love their child and raise her, but chose instead to sell her for gold.
85.
86. Seba knew that she'd feel horrible for her dark thoughts once she calmed down, but for now, she allowed herself this moment to vent. Screaming would have helped somewhat, but then she'd be coughing up blood. They weren't worth bleeding over. They weren't worth shit, they-
87.
88. "Cut that out, lady!"
89.
90. The voice had authority behind it, but a few words were slurred. Seba looked up, and was surprised when her eyes met the scowling face of an old man. He wore nothing but footwraps and trousers fastened by a thin rope. His matted and dirt covered grey hair almost covered his eyes, and his beard was long and out of control. The man reeked of alcohol and piss, and Seba thought she'd throw up if she got close to him.
91.
92. Seba gave the man a cold stare, "Make me, pisser." She said simply. The old man's frown deepened.
93.
94. "The fishermen who hauled them barrels in won't take kindly to seein' some crazy woman tryin' to smash their barrels open. They'll enjoy having fun with you though, and believe me when I say that their definition of fun will be painful for you." Said the old man, hiccuping in between sentences. The old geezer looked like he'd fall over any second.
95.
96. "Why do you care?" Seba asked, cautious. Her hand was on the hilt of her dagger already. She didn't like this guy, and she was prepared to get her dagger bloody.
97.
98. The old man rolled his eyes, "Because them assholes don't need an excuse to raise hell. You think they'll stop with you? They'll go prowlin' the streets and lookin' for anyone without a home. They hates the homeless, and they likes to make us suffer. I ain't gotta worry about, thanks to my buddy here," he reached into his trouser pocket and pulled out a red and white sphere, "theys do mess with anybody with a critter. But a lot of us ain't lucky 'nuff to kill a feller and take his critter. I gots friends, woman, and I ain't gonna let some crazy person get 'em killed." He crossed his arms, steadying himself.
99.
100. Seba had all but tuned his voice out when she saw the Pokeball. They were always mesmerizing to look at, but she'd never been able to get her hands on one. People who had them kept them fastened on them at all times, and she'd lost a hand trying to take one the first time. But this guy... He was drunk, old, and weak. An easy target... But first, she wanted to see if he knew anything about her parents. They lived by the docks, and they might have known this guy. "Alright, I'll stop." She said, and the old man breathed a sigh of relief.
101.
102. "That's mighty-"
103.
104. Seba held up her hand, "Tell me something. Trenbeaths, know them?" She asked, but it sounded like a demand.
105.
106. The old man scratched the top of his head, "Can't say I do, sorry missus." He said apologetically. "Tell you what, you should look out for a feller, goes by the name Aaron Murray. He's a reaaaaal important feller 'round here. If you need t'find someone, he's your guy."
107.
108. Seba nodded, and she was about to draw her dagger when the sounds of footsteps made her turn around. Two large, tanned men wearing ratty shorts and open vests were approaching her, but they simply passed her and stopped in front of the old man. "What'd we say would happen to you if we saw you around our hauls again?" One of the sailors growled, the other crossed his arms and glared at the old man menacingly.
109.
110. "I w-w-w-was just talkin' to this here lady is all, that's all, I swears!" The old man stuttered, he looked absolutely terrified.
111.
112. Guess pokemon can't make anyone any less afraid after all... Seba thought, before the men turned around and faced her.
113.
114. "Did you see this guy pokin' around those barrels?" The first sailor questioned.
115.
116. "Yeah, did you?" Chimed the second sailor.
117.
118. Seba frowned, "I did, misters." She muttered, talking slow and dumb. The old man stared at her in shock, but the sailors grinned evilly and turned towards the old man again. They both grabbed him by one arm.
119.
120. "She's lyin', she's lyin'!" The old man howled, squirming weakly against the sailors' grips, to no avail. They were bigger and stronger.
121.
122. Seba kept her head low and walked around the old man, she turned for a split second and wormed three fingers into his pocket. Turning around, she felt her hands grow warmer once the Pokeball was in her hand. She let herself grin widely as she walked away from the scene. The old man's screams only bothered her until she couldn't hear them anymore.
123.
124. Aaron Murray, Seba hoped the old man was right about him. She needed to know, she wanted something to confirm that Grelka and Isaac Trenbeath were indeed her parents.
125.
126. And then she'd hear their reasons for giving her away, their answers would determine whether or not her dagger would need cleaning by the end of the day.

128. [h]Weapon and Armour Choices:[/h]
129.
130. Cutty - A Knight's Dagger, taken from its previous owner via thievery.
131.
132. Cutty II - A small stiletto dagger that serves as a back up weapon in case Seda loses the first dagger. [Seda is currently trying to figure out a way to attach Cutty II to the leather armor's bracer, on her right stump.]
133.
134. Crossbow - A medium sized wooden crossbow that Seda uses only when she needs to wear her leather armor. The bolt quiver is worn at the hip. When not in use, it is stored with her armor.
135.
136. Normal Clothing - Preferred over armor for mobility, speed, and staying incognito and relatively unassuming. This is what Seba wears most of the time.
137.
138. Leather Armor - A set of leather armor for more dangerous assignments. Comes with a pocket bandoleer for extra storage, and a hood for concealment. Stored in varying secluded and hard to reach locations when not in use. [For reference on the appearance, look up the 'Thieves Guild Armor' from Skyrim. The design is relatively close to that.
