—PERSONALITY:
    ◦ woojin is basically the " blonde " member of the group, who is known for his ditziness. he is definitely not smart, that much his group mates can tell you. he doesn't have book smarts (or even street smarts), and he is usually described as the airhead. a lot of the time, people think that he has nothing but air floating around that skull of his. his ditziness also comes along with his innocence, because despite living with his group mates, woojin knows absolutely nothing about sexual innuendoes. if you were to make a sexual joke (or any joke at all) it would just fly straight over his head, and he would have absolutely no idea why you were laughing so hard, and either look at you really confused, or laugh awkwardly a long with no idea why until one of the other members comes to explain it to him (though PRINCE probably wouldn't, and instead tell the person off for trying to corrupt their maknae.) woojin is completely cluelessly, and his innocence is something that his other group members are trying to protect. however, looking at his clueless and ditzy nature, it's rather a surprise that he can fit the "bad boy" concept of the group. woojin is also known to ask a lot of questions, which of course, only supports the theory that there is nothing floating around in his head. he usually asks questions multiple times, just to clarify things, and make sure he's doing it right, because he doesn't want to an even bigger fool out of himself. usually, WEI is his go to guy whenever he has questions, and woojin ends up forcing the boy to explain jokes to him, because woojin himself doesn't understand it. woojin is also a naturally curious person, and if people don't explain things like jokes to him, he is likely to ponder of it for a long time until he figures things out, and sometimes cannot sleep because it bothers him that much. at this point, one of the other members has to come and explain things to him, before he loses too much sleep over it. he is oblivious, and doesn't really know half of what goes on around the dorm. he is probably one of the most optimistic about VERSUS, and is just trying to constantly look on the bright side of things. as the maknae, he feels that it is his job to be extremely supportive to all of the other members, and is the type to do whatever they ask him to, no questions asked (well no questions asked about why they want him to do it, but he'd probably ask a lot of questions on how to do it). he is so blindingly optimistic, and he will always find a bright side to anything. get dumped by your partner? loose all of your saved documents on your laptop? don't worry, leo can still find a way to be positive about it. he does however, hate being left out of the loop, which happens quite often. woojin doesn't know about any of the tough situations his group members have gone through, and they usually don't tell him on purpose. he can sometimes act a bit whiny, once he realises that the others aren't telling him things, and will probably go and pester either WEI or ACE to tell him. woojin is definitely closer to the pair of them in the group, and maybe PRINCE as well, but he'd probably be the least close with DOM, because even though he knows the leader doesn't mean any harm and would never hurt anyone, woojin is slightly intimidated by him, and always get's scared whenever he accidentally pisses the leader off (or thinks he pisses the leader off, which happens more often). fans, however, seem to like woojin's oblivious nature, and he doesn't often have to try very hard to make others smile, because they find his ditziness both adorable and hilarious. basically, woojin is clueless, and he probably has the mental age of a five year old.

—BACKGROUND:
    ◦ leo was born lee woojin in daegu, south korea in the april of 1995. his parents were actually rather surprised when they first found out they were expecting, as they were quite content with their first child, a daughter by the name of yoojin. however they were happy nonetheless to discover that they were expecting a second child, and showered him with the same love they gave to his older sister. woojin was first introduced to performing arts at the age of three, when his mother signed him up for dance lessons. his mother, lee hyojin was a dance teacher herself, and was determined that at least one of her children show an interest in dance. she'd already tried to introduce yoojin to the dance scene, forcing her to take ballet classes, but eventually gave up when the girl continued to throw tantrums every time she was forced into a tutu. so of course, the only other option was woojin. unlike his older sister, woojin took a liking to dance classes, and it became quite clear that he'd inherited his mother's talent for the sport. he was always closer to his mother growing up, as they often bonded over dance. his love for dance only increased after he was old enough to get up on stage and actually perform by himself in front of people. this led to him becoming more interested in performing arts, and he became more focused on dance than he did his school grades, which didn't really set well with his parents. even though his mother was overjoyed that he loved to dance, she didn't want him to throw his education away over it, and his father threatened to stop paying for his dance lessons if he didn't get his grades back up. this, of course, didn't set well with woojin, but he was not willing to take the chance that his father would stop him from dancing, so he tried his best to bring his grades back up. he eventually reached an agreement with his mother, saying that he needed to be sitting on a c at the lowest (mostly because she knew that her son did not have a brilliant mind when it came to school work). when he was fifteen years old, woojin was scouted for mystic entertainment, which of course made him consider becoming an idol. he begged his parents to let him attend an audition for the company, and while his father wasn't too keen on it, his mother encouraged him, and told him that he should go to the audition. his mother had always been very supportive of him and his love for peforming, and was almost as ecstatic as woojin was when she found out he was accepted, and continued to support him after he debut, even though his father still strongly believed that his son was throwing his life away.
