  4. no real noteable meta changes.
  5. Most power-plants now have many times (4-5 times) previous levels of signature output on EM and IR bands
  6. a few minor IFCS type changes to the aurora (nothing important. like cruise time moving from 15sec to 17sec)
  7. some of the thrusters on some ships had radical changes like the Freelancer & star farer engines, etc
  8.  
  9. a lot of the hardpoints for ships with the "new" style of having multiple shields have returned (previously removed because that was a broken mechanic)
  10. ^but the multiple shields hav not returned (only the hardpoints)
  11.  
  12. Turrets are SIGNIFIGANTLY slower across the board. fighter turrets not as amuch. ship turrets (connie/tali) much more so. Tali turrets are sloooow

  14. FPS player armor (your outfit/class) has slightly adjusted speed scales for the different armors(edited)

  56. I know they didn't change any of the thruster characteristics of the Gladius. I've already tested that and it's the same numbers as before other than the slight drop in top speed.

  123. Hi Adam, I can't comment for now as I haven't been on since Saturday evening, but then it crashed a lot for me (about 10 minute sessions). FPS was low, about 15 was the lowest I had, max 30. One instance had 15 upon waking up. Desync was occurring, couldn't see my opponents fire. Will test again tonight (in 7/8 hours) for you.

  162. Absolutely, if say mousing over the individual values showed the previous version's settings that would be amazing. Even just a side by side comparison would be invaluable and time saving for anyone trying to make comparisons.

  169. On one of the 10 fors it was stated that it should go 270. At the time, the Hornet was going 200. If the concept is for the KA to be 35% faster than a Hornet it should be going 297 (call it 300 for fun) and be able to manuever at speed. Then, we can start looking at other balance considerations.

  187. Oh, you are talking about the Khartu. I assume they cut and pasted some values from various locations, broke the lateral thrust in the process maybe, though it does have its own handling quirks not present on other ships so its tough to say.

  199. I am not sure what all of those categories mean, its possible those could all be scale and max type of destinctions that effect the slope and shape of the acceleration curve.
  200. Or the thrust curve, but how that translates to ship motion is based on thruster position, mass, and other factors not found on there that end up creating a difference, I don't really know.

  239. But the HUD overlay has the peek in that the Vanduul has, only its identical, which makes zero sense and just seems kind of lazy.

  249. The artists come up with a concept, the designers have their input and once the 3D artists and riggers have finished it they hand it to John Pritchett and say 'make this fly'. He must take a look at some of these ships and fall about laughing sometimes. Poor guy. Well I hope they dont make it fly the same as every other ship is all I can say.

  339. I usually just try to kill them all like everyone else, which probably isn't helpful. Could probably do it if it wasn't for all the 350Rs they spawn, they have the worst of the 300 series invuln issues. lol Takes forever to kill one.

  560. We know how very poorly their "recorded metrics" reflect what top-bracket pilots can achieve with "statistically the worst meta". Literally, if they came as said they didn't trust the metrics recorded in the bad rubbernanding/warping seen from v2.1.2/v2.2+ I'd think that's a fantastic answer.(edited)
  561. I mean... We got told the sawbuck was "Statistically the least performing weapon in the game" covering q1-2015 through the end of summer. We had to explain it was considered the strongest, or second strongest loadout by top pilots for it's raw alpha-output could quickly 1-2-3 volley any fighter out of the sky (at those times)(edited)

  569. Not long. An hour and change. I'm not into seal clubbing newbies; so if there isnt a good pilot to go after in matches... I have no need to go 584-5 in matches killing baddies... yet...
