  1. Nile grew up during rough circumstances. The climate had shifted into something terrible for unknown reasons. His father suspected that there were powerful sorcerers behind this.
  2.
  3. His parents, who were farmers, were unable to continue farming. As time passed and resources spilled most villagers lost faith.
  4. The people in the village who once were allies, were now plundering each other murderously, desperate for anything of value. Nile attempts to talk some sense into his fellow villagers only to realize the people he once knew are gone. Growing disgusted by his fellow villagers-- he'd step up his efforts-- telling everyone he saw that this was a test of their faith and if they endured it peacefully there'd be an award from the village head. People started believing Nile's theory-- turning down their weapons. Niles suggested that all believers ought to place their valuables and resources in his parents house for safety measures. Arguing that non-believers will insincerely do anything to obtain their goods.
  5.
  6. As the weather cleared up-- the village head, Ivin, retained control of the village. Ivin gets enraged over the endless demands of rewards-- demanding to know who've claimed that there'll be an award. Niles was humiliated in front of the entire village for betraying one's rightful lord and for thievery. Niles thought: "For calming an horrifying situation, is this what I get?". His parents sided against him, claiming they didn't know where all the items came from.
  7.
  8. Niles had enough-- he packed and abandoned the village. Walking freely in the forest, feeling unstrained, looking for anything that would be of interest.
