- A race of ancient warriors trained in both martial weaponry and magic, arcane runes are placed upon their soul to give them natural proficiency with spells. They are also bound to weapons which they can summon at any point but the weapon itself is a physical object. If broken then the Runeblade is weakened and must spend a day recuperating. They are very old and are few in numbers, though historical texts reference them being created rather than born.
- Their purpose: To destroy creatures that threaten humanity.
- Rune form - An ultimate form that is unleashed in dire times of need, their arcane prowess explodes like a supernova and consumes them in great power. This usually contains brilliant glowing runes coating their body, waving static hair and glowing eyes.
