HISTORY
jaein came from a well-off background, actually, with maids waiting on her every foot and hand in their estate. her father was a doctor and her mother a police officer, with her older sister as a lawyer. with family members in those types of jobs, it was automatically assumed that jaein would take a job for civil justice as well. however, contrary to popular belief, she left the family out of frustration. her parents were focused more on her sister than they ever were herself, so she ended up joining the wrong crowd without anyone noticing and saw the truth about her parents along with their opinion on her which was more than just negative.
jaein discovered she was viewed as the "accidental", the unwanted one, so she didn't experience true love, really ever (deep down, she sure would like to). she had a younger brother that she cared for so much, but he was put up for adoption when he was two and jaein was six because her parents weren't meant to have him either. she cried so much during that day and vowed to take him back someday, no matter what it takes.
she met the others in hell's homos when she was out one night and they invited her in and has stuck with them ever since, seeing that they fit her taste in friends well and actually care for her to some extent. she sees them as family more than she ever will her real one.

PERSONALITY
jaein has a tsundere-like personality. she tends to keep her distance when you first get to know her, but once she's comfortable with you she cares for you in the smallest ways. jaein will wake up early in the morning to cook you food if you need it and go back to sleep quickly so you don't know that it's her. she doesn't like showing her love right up front and prefers the smaller actions since she feels like they count just a little bit more.
