- New advances in metalworking have prompted the riverlands nation of Arresi to take a hostile stance towards it's neighbors to the north and south, tightening up it's northern borders and moving the bulk of it's army to the banks of the southern river.
- Ettindaw, formerly an independent city-state, has allied itself with Arresi, as it's main connection with the rest of the continent is the main road which leads through Arresi.
- The cities of westport and underhill have allied together to stand against Arresi.
- Impelliv, on the eastern island, is still forming a response. It is expected they will come in on the side of the the southern cities.
- The yellow mountains city(still unnamed) has started patrolling the lands north of Arresi but have taken no real stance.
- Darrenvell, the largest nation on the landmass, has started military action against the orcish tribes on the northwest coast, reorganizing their large milita into a more traditional military.
