- • Enables online features of Grand Underground, Super Contest Shows (supposedly available with ryujinx LDN)
- • Enables receiving of Mystery Gifts, including the Manaphy Egg Mystery Gift and Platinum Outfits Mystery Gift (must be "hacked" in when using emulator).
- • Unlocks Ramanas Park/Battle Zone in the post game (including things like Heatran encounter).
- • Enables other online features via the Union Room such as battles and trading (again not available with emulation unless using ryujinx?).
- • Adds in-game videos, such as before the title screen and during the ending of the game (if you've already beaten the game before installing the update, you can view the ending movie by entering the Hall of Fame again) -- bugged for emulation.

- • Makes tv screens not blank
- • Removed Arceus event data
- • Added classic sprites for currently unknown reason
- • Fixed broken hp reduction animation for battles- hp now falls at normal rate and doesn't glitch out
- • Darkrai and Shaymin events are now complete (unobtainable without hacks?)
- • Swarm encounters now give you a very obvious visual indicator that they're in your current area (a bunch of overworld models appear in the grass)
- • Small tweaks to learnsets have been made so that evolutions retain access to pre-evolution moves, via the Move Relearner.
- • After becoming Champion, going to the Game Directors' house at Hotel Grand Lake and talking to the Sound Designer will award you with the DS Sounds key item.
- • Talking to Game Director after completing your Sinnoh Pokédex will reward you with the Catching Charm
