  8. the only change made to latios was replacing psychic with psyshock – most of the pokes that I’d use it on seemed to have higher special defense which made attacking their physical defense a better option. also meant I could use latios to deal with mismagius.

  15. this one saw the most changes again, replaced iron head with ice punch prior to transferring it to gen 5. air balloon allowed it to get more hits in on earthquake users in particular.

  22. replaced surf because scald is just busted in general, and it was easier to set up on burned opponents. also meant I could switch it in to blizzard/ice beam and not worry about remaining frozen and potentially being chipped to death.
  23. ice beam was replaced with icy wind, so that it could slow down opponents for either latios or metagross to clean up. decision was made to do this after getting cooked by a starmie.
