  8.
  9. Each gives a point of damage if you are it's respective type
  10.
  11. Talk strengths/weaknesses of types of hero
  12.
  13. Hello, this is an introduction to the attributes in Dota 2. There are 3 main attributes in Dota: Strength, Agility, and Intelligence. Each gives a 1 attack damage per point to a hero with the respective main attribute. For example, if Sven, a strength hero, buys a Gauntlet of Strength he will gain +3 base attack damage from the +3 str provided by the Gauntlet.
  14.
  15. Each hero has different stat growth displayed when you hover over the stats on the hero taskbar (?). When you level up, you passively gain whatever you stat gain is for that particular attribute. For example, Centaur Warrunner has 3.8 str gain. Thus, every time he levels up, he gains 3.8 str.
  16.
  17. Each point of Strength will give your hero 20 health and .03 HP regen/second.
  18. Each point of Agility will give you hero 1 attack speed and 1/7 of an armor point.
  19. Each point of Intelligence will give you 12 mana, .04 mana regen/second, and .0625% spell damage.
  20.
  21. Strength heroes are almost all melee and excel at front lining, tanking, and initiation. Strength heroes are the most varied in role, with Carries, Supports, and Utility heroes all found among their ranks. Generally, Strength heroes excel in the midgame from about 20 to 45 minutes. Strength heroes typically have large HP pools but lack mana and characteristically have low armor, making them weak to physical damage. Overall, Strength heroes are a varied group of typically tanky heroes.
  22.
  23. Agility heroes are a mix of melee and ranged and excel at dealing physical damage and escapability. Agility heroes are generally carry heroes (meaning they need items in order to scale effectively) with some supports and utility heroes mixed in. Agility heroes typically peak in the late game from about 45 minutes onward. Agility heroes deal large amounts of damage and have high armor, but have small HP pools and average to low mana pools. Overall, Agility heroes are scaling physical damage heroes with small HP pools.
  24.
  25. Intelligence heroes are a almost all ranged and excel at dealing magic damage, controlling enemy heroes, and providing utility to their team. Most Intelligence heroes are either Support or magic damage Nukers, however there are many Utility heroes and several scaling Carry heroes. Intelligence heroes are generally at their strongest in the early game where their characteristic nukes deal the most damage relatively. Intelligence heroes typically deal large amounts of magic damage, use controlling spells, and have large mana pools. However, they generally have low HP pools and low armor making them very squishy. Overall, Intelligence heroes are a varried group of mostly Support, Utility, and Nuking heroes.

  40. 2 "Mid" second farm priority second core normally farms lots (sometimes space creator)
  41. 3 "Offlane" Third farm priority makes space moves with team
  42. 4 "Rich Support" 4th farm priority gets major item (mek, blink) pulling Jungler
  43. 5 "Ward bitch" 5th farm priority buys wards/cour items to stay alive (force, glimmer, etc)
  44.
  45. Explain how the lanes work (Trilane, duals, jungler)
  46.
  47. Hello, this is a guide to roles in Dota 2. Dota 2 uses a "Farm Priority" system to describe roles. Ones role is not necessarily dependent on the lane you went to. Farm Priority means how much of the teams resources should be dedicated to you as well as how much time you should spend on farming. The farm priority system uses a 1-5 to denote the priority of the hero. The "1 Position" has the highest farm priority, while the "5 Position" has the least.
  48.
  49. The "1 Position" is typically called the "Carry" and NORMALLY lanes in their teams safelane. Other times they may lane elsewhere. The "1 Position" has the highest farm priority and spends a large amount of their time farming creeps. The 1 position is generally strongest in the lategame and weak in the early game.
  50.
  51. The "2 Position" is generally your solo mid hero, although at other times it is the Offlane or even the Safelane. The 2 position is the second farm priority and is generally a semi-carry type hero. The 2's job is to make space for the 1 position while farming himself. Creating space is a term that means "To create opportunities for your carry/other cores to farm without being molested by the enemy team."
