  2. [14:57] <@Kilarra> ~~~Chapter 3: The Armageddon Echo~~~
  3. [14:58] <@Kilarra> -Session 55-
  4. [14:58] * Kilarra pants a bit now that the Drow Wizard has been dispatched. "Is that it? We've done it?"
  5. [15:00] * Aluthyra looks about worried of the possibility of more drow. When none are to be seen, she frowns. "...I...I think we have."
  6. [15:02] * Kilarra smiles, "Good." She wraps her tail around Aluthyra and pulls her in for a deep, passionate kiss.
  7. [15:03] <@Kilarra> Kjell chuckles a bit and looks to checking Nolveniss' posessions while Kilarra deals with her 'priorities'.
  8. [15:04] * Aluthyra squirms for a moment before relenting to Kilarra, pressing herself against the cleric. She wraps her arms around Kilarra in a hug as they kiss.
  9. [15:06] <@Kilarra> In addition to his rather equisitely magical staff, the drow illusionist posesses two potions, a cloak, a set of bracers, a Handy Haversack, a Headband, two rings, one magical, one bearing a signet, a sachel of diamond dust, and a deep purple gemstone with a rune inscribed within that matches the one on the gate that brought the party here.
  10. [15:07] * Kilarra gives Aluthyra a sample of her skilled tongue before breaking the kiss. "I was worried," she admits. "After Tognik died, I was worried that we could follow at any time. I am -so- glad this is all over with."
  11. [15:08] * Aluthyra blushes, smiling. "As was I... but I suppose my worrying was for not." She sighs. "Well, let us get this all finished up. Then..." She follows what she thinks Kilarra would do... and winks.
  12. [15:10] <@Kilarra> Kjell begins divying up the items as he identifies them. The headband granted its wearer increase intellect, so he takes it for himself, believing the others did not have need of it. The Bracers might benefit Aluthyra most if she did not have other plans, while the magic ring was the same as the ones they now each had one of already.
  13. [15:11] * Aluthyra asks, What magic might the bracers hold?"
  14. [15:12] <@Kilarra> Kjell slips the headband on and smiles. "A potent protective charm. Probably about the same strength as the potions you've been using, but without an expiration point."
  15. [15:13] <@Kilarra> Kjell looks at the Cloak, "This one holds a resistance bolstering enchantment, slightly more potent than the other ones we've seen." He looks between Kilarra and Aluthyra, "Which of you would benefit more from the added protection?"
  16. [15:14] * Aluthyra smiles. "Wonderful." She takes the bracers, putting them on. "Give it to Kilarra." she nods to the cloak.
  17. [15:14] <@Kilarra> Kjell nods and passes Kilarra the cloak.
  18. [15:14] * Kilarra swaps it out for her old one and gives it to Kjell to add to the ones he's already carrying.
  19. [15:15] * Aluthyra glances at the staff. "And that?"
  20. [15:17] <@Kilarra> Kjell looks at the staff, "Very poweful, but somewhat objectionable. Evocation and Necromancy. It can also be used as one might normally use a quarterstaff, with the flame enchantment on the skull end."
  21. [15:17] <@Kilarra> Kjell inspects the staff more closely, trying to see specifically what spells were stored within.
  22. [15:19] <@Kilarra> Kjell recites: "An enfeebling ray, a scorching ray, fireball, false life, and... " he frowns a bit, knowing Kilarra, "animate dead."
  23. [15:20] * Kilarra grits her teeth, "Why did you hesitate?"
  24. [15:20] <@Kilarra> Kjell holds the staff a little away from Kilarra, "Make no mistake, I think the creation of undead as vile as you do, but a staff such as this would be worth a small fortune to the righ arcanist. Enough perhaps even to cover the cost of bringing Tognik back."
  25. [15:21] * Aluthyra nods. "If we are to sell it, it must go to someone trustworthy."
  26. [15:22] * Aluthyra makes sure to accentuate 'if', knowing a staff such as this could lead to ill work if it were in the wrong hands.
  27. [15:23] * Kilarra frowns, thinking a moment. "Fine, but if it's for raising Tognik, the cost of the diamond dust is coming out of your share of the proceeds." She notes, "I have enough, like I said, if Calistria sees fit to grant me that much power, but you'll be replacing it."
  28. [15:24] <@Kilarra> Kjell frowns a bit, but nods. "Considering you or your Madam will be the ones raising him, I suppose I cannot fault you for setting terms." He passes Kilarra the diamond dust from Nolveniss. "That should help."
  29. [15:25] * Aluthyra slings her bow over her shoulder. "Was there anything else on the drow that might let us know if this is all... finished?"
  30. [15:26] * Kilarra holds out a hand for the staff, then jabs at the potions and gemstone with her tail, "WHat about those?"
  31. [15:27] <@Kilarra> Kjell passes ALuthyra and kilarra each one of the potions. "A reasonably potent curing spell (Cure serious wounds), while this Gemstone, I believe, is the key to the gateway in and out of this place. It emits conjuration aura."
  32. [15:28] <@Kilarra> Kjell also claims the drow's spellbook. "I shall have to take some time to study this once we are gone from here, to see if there is anything worth adding to my own repetoire."
  33. [15:31] * Aluthyra nods. "Then shall we go?"
  34. [15:34] * Kilarra takes the staff from Kjell, holding it gingerly, like it was diseased or explosive, and slips it across her back. She makes sure to kill the flame enchantment first.
  35. [15:35] <@Kilarra> Kjell takes a moment to pack a few things into the Haversack before slipping it on.
  36. [15:39] * Kilarra chuckles, "I've got more of these funky crossbow bolts than I'll ever need, but I can think of a few folks back in Riddleport who would love trinkets like them. As for leaving, do we want to take a chance and rest here, or should we high-tail it back to Celwynvian?"
  37. [15:39] * Aluthyra shakes her head. "I would say we should leave as soon as we can. Although... there is still a dragon's trove, supposedly."
  38. [15:40] * Kilarra shrugs, "Yeah, but why would it keep its loot inside a place that's gonna be destroyed within the next couple days... or however time works in here."
  39. [15:41] * Aluthyra shrugs. "Fair enough. Then, I would still say we should leave, rather than stick around."
  40. [15:41] <@Kilarra> Kjell nods, "The Dragon seemed to be using this place as a retreat rather than a nest, much like the drow themselves. He was their ally after all. Do you think its head will fit in here?" he gestures to the haversack.
  41. [15:43] * Aluthyra shakes her head. "I do not know. Extradimensional space is not my specialty."
  42. [15:44] <@Kilarra> Kjell begins to walk towards the stairs while earranging the contents, "The space isn't so much a problem as the weight. I suppose if I severed the rest of the neck and took just the head I could fit it in. Barely."
  43. [15:46] * Aluthyra follows. "Well, it is at least worth trying, since we have the time."
  44. [15:51] * Kilarra nods, "Yeah, those echo elves said we had at least a day before they left, and it's only been about eleven hours, most of which we spent asleep in preparation for this last assault."
  45. [15:52] <@Kilarra> Kjell heads back down to the main floor of the observatory, stopping in front of Razorhorn's carcass. "I suppose I'll have to pass on the hide," he chuckles.
  46. [15:53] <@Kilarra> Kjell take out Tyrant's bane and takes a few swings at Razorhorn's neck, hoping to sever the rest of it from the head itself.
  47. [15:53] * Aluthyra shrugs. "I have some space in my own haversack. Only twenty pounds, if I could guess. If you wish, I could store some hide."
  48. [15:54] * Kilarra plucks out her mace and looks it over. "Perhaps I should get one made of that Noqual stuff. I was using my whip a lot less than I used to when I was travelling on my own."
  49. [15:56] <@Kilarra> Kjell shakes his head, "Though he is as large as a warhorse, we would probably need his entire hide just to make a set of plate. I do not posess the tools for skinning and curing dragon hide, and I suspect, unless we want to drag the whole carcass, that it will not survive the coming Earthfall, echo or not."
  50. [15:56] * Kilarra notes, "You're already gonna be carrying Tognik, you don't need another cadaver, especially a big one."
  51. [15:57] * Aluthyra shrugs, leaning against a wall, ready to leave.
  52. [15:58] <@Kilarra> Kjell is able to, just barely, fit the Dragon's head into the large compartment of his new haversack.
  53. [15:59] * Kilarra slips in close to ALuthyra, her tail stroking the other woman's leg idly.
  54. [16:03] <@Kilarra> Kjell rejoins them once he has Razorhorn's head packed, and keeps his sword drawn as he heads out.
  55. [16:03] * Kilarra follows behind Kjell, mace in her right hand, her trio of magical whips, including her original flaming one, curled around her shoulders
  56. [16:04] * Kilarra makes sure Aluthyra gets a nice view of her shapely rear, since she remembered the aasimar saying it was perhaps her best feature
  57. [16:06] * Aluthyra takes in the pleasant view as she walks.
  58. [16:07] <@Kilarra> Mercifully, the party's trip back to the Fluted Goblet is unmarred by attacks from remaining demons or drow. Although the party could not be certain how many remained, the loss of their leader was certainly cause for disarray or flight.
  59. [16:08] * Aluthyra heads upstairs, looking for the corpse of the assassin.
  60. [16:11] <@Kilarra> Kaerishiel and Shalelu are seated inside the main barroom, resting, but awake. They look up as the party returns.
  61. [16:11] <@Kilarra> Kaerishiel stands, "It is done then?"
  62. [16:11] <@Kilarra> Kjell nods as Aluthyra heads upstairs, "Yes. The commander of the drow in Celwynvian, is no more. As is, as you saw, the dragon Razorhorn."
  63. [16:12] * Aluthyra smiles, seeing the two elves in, relatively, good health. "We will be leaving soon. Are both of you fit to travel along with our protection?"
  64. [16:13] <@Kilarra> The assassin's posessions include his armour, rapier, four vials, two potion bottles, four of the alchemical poison crossbow bolts as well as 20 mundane ones, and a disguise kit.
  65. [16:14] * Aluthyra brings these items to Kjell, waiting for the elves' responses.
  66. [16:16] <@Kilarra> Kjell quickly sets about identifying them, hoping they were valuable. Again, because he wanted to make sure they had more than enough to see Tognik raised and restored.
  67. [16:18] <@Kilarra> Kjell notes, "The cloak and the ring are the standard issue protective items we seem to be seeing a lot of on the higher ranking drow. The potions are of moderate strength curing, the armour is nice; glamered studded leather with a moderate protective enchantment, and the rapier has a basic enchantment as well."
  68. [16:19] <@Kilarra> Kaerishiel nods, "We should be able to travel to the portal, though we will likely be dead weight if we are accosted along the way."
  69. [16:19] * Aluthyra nods. "That is fine, but if you could, I only have six arrows remaining."
  70. [16:19] <@Kilarra> Kjell slips the cloak and ring in with the others, but with Razorhorn's head, has no room for the armour and Rapier, offering them to Aluthyra instead.
  71. [16:20] <@Kilarra> Kjell passes Kilarra the bolts and the poison.
  72. [16:20] * Aluthyra takes the rapier and armor into her haversack.
  73. [16:21] * Kilarra looks back at her slightly bluging pack; "Maybe I should get one of those sack things when we get back to Riddleport."
  74. [16:22] * Aluthyra nods. "It is very useful."
  75. [16:23] <@Kilarra> Kjell drinks one of the potions, then slips the other away.
  76. [16:23] * Aluthyra again asks the elves for their remaining arrows.
  77. [16:24] <@Kilarra> The elves nod and give them to Aluthyra, knowing they would barely be able to shoot straight with them.
  78. [16:25] <@Kilarra> Kjell heads upstairs, coming back down with Tognik's body wrapped in blankets slung over his shoulder. "Sorry for the rough treatment little friend, but we'll have you back among us in no time."
  79. [16:26] <@Kilarra> Kjell uses his spell arm to hold Tognik, keeping his sword ready in his left.
  80. [16:29] <@Kilarra> The elves lean on each other for support, and move to follow behind Kilarra, looking to ALuthyra to cover their rear while Kjell leads.
  81. [16:30] * Aluthyra follows in the back, bow ready.
  82. [16:30] <@Kilarra> Kjell leads on, hoping they would not be interrupted in their flight. He slips the Shadow Key into his component pouch so he could draw it out easily and quickly when they reached the portal.
  83. [16:31] <@Kilarra> The party is again met with mercy, as they are not assaulted on their way back to the swirling vortex of the portal.
  84. [16:32] <@Kilarra> Kjell retrieves the key gemstone and holds it up to the portal...
  85. [16:33] <@Kilarra> The portal activates, the vortex of plane travelling magic swirling in to fill the gateway.
  86. [16:34] <@Kilarra> Kjell looks to the two injured elves, "You first; we cleared out the academy before we came here, and our allies have likely maintained a perimeter around the Academy awaiting our return."
  87. [16:34] * Aluthyra follows after the elves, wanting to stick close to protecting them.
  88. [16:34] <@Kilarra> Kaerishiel and SHalelu nod, leaning on each other for support as they step through the gate, ending up back on the Material Plane. Aluthyra follows closely behind.
  89. [16:34] * Kilarra slips in closely after Aluthyra
  90. [16:35] <@Kilarra> Kjell goes through last with the key still in his posession.
  91. [16:35] <@Kilarra> The party is deposited back in the room of the Shadow Gate within the Academy of the Arts in Celwynvian. They are back in the Material Plane, and the body of the drow Barbarian that guarded the portal is waiting for them.
  92. [16:37] <@Kilarra> Aside from his Greatsword and armour, the drow also has a couple of poison bolts and a potion on him.
  93. [16:37] * Aluthyra blinks. "Ah. Well, it is fortunate that the corpse is still here, seeing as he may have items of worth." She checks over the body, first looking to the sword that she remembered cackling with electricity.
  94. [16:37] * Aluthyra hands the potion and bolts to Kilarra, turning to Kjell. "Can you identify the armor and sword?"
  95. [16:38] * Kilarra glances at the potion, then passes it to Kjell, "Bear's endurance."
  96. [16:38] <@Kilarra> Kjell nods and gives them a look over for magic
  97. [16:39] <@Kilarra> Kjell nods, "The greatsword has, in addition to the lightning, a minor enhancement. The Armour has a moderate enchantment."
  98. [16:39] * Aluthyra takes both, storing them.
  99. [16:40] <@Kilarra> Shalelu and Kaerishiel look quite relieved to be back in the real Celwynvian. "Our mission is done, even if you did all of the work for it. We should report to Eviana immediately."
  100. [16:43] <@Kilarra> Kjell nods, "Indeed. The sooner we report our victory, the sooner we can rest, and perhaps even celebrate."
  101. [16:44] <@Kilarra> Kjell sheathes his sword and leads the party and the rescued elves back out of the academy.
  102. [16:45] * Aluthyra keeps her bow drawn, for the sake of being careful.
  103. [16:45] <@Kilarra> Around the entrance to the Academy of the Arts is a couple squads of elven skirmishers. With them is Eviana, leaning against one of the entrance pillars, her arm in a sling. In spite of that injury, she looks quite excited to see the party and the elven captains return.
  104. [16:47] <@Kilarra> Kjell smiles at the elves, their presence seeming to ease the tension in the air simply by returning. "We bring good news. Both the dragon Razorhorn, and the commander of the drow forces, have been defeated!"
  105. [16:47] * Aluthyra greets the elves with a wave, slinging her bow over her shoulder. She makes her way to the elf captains, making sure both make it over to a healer.
  106. [16:48] * Aluthyra offers her shoulders for each to lean on as she guides them.
  107. [16:49] <@Kilarra> Kjell's proclamation is met by cheers from the assembled elves. Eviana refrains from clapping with her broken arm, but steps forwards and bows respectfully to them, "You have our utmost gratitude." She looks to the two elven captains. "I shall call for a healer immediately." She motions to one of the elf scouts, who nods and runs off to find one.
  108. [16:50] <@Kilarra> Eviana notices the body Kjell is carrying, "Your comrad?" she asks, frowning.
  109. [16:50] <@Kilarra> Kjell nods, "Yes, but before you offer condolences, know that we have both the funds and means to have him brought back to us."
  110. [16:51] * Kilarra strides up to ALuthyra, leaning in close to her and smiling.
  111. [16:52] * Aluthyra wraps her arms around Kilarra, smiling knowingly in turn.
  112. [16:52] <@Kilarra> Eviana nods, "Then we will not waste time mourning. We owe you all a great debt for your aid in this campaign. There is still much to be done; the remnants of the drow must be tracked down and eliminated, and there are many monsters still urking amongst the ruins. However, I think we have all earned a celebration, and you three in particular deserve the finest reward."
  113. [16:53] * Aluthyra raises an eyebrow, asking Eviana, "Is... this all over? Are the drows plans finished, do you think?"
  114. [16:53] <@Kilarra> Eviana notes, "We have reclaimed many artifacts and treasures from the drow while fighting in the city, including a couple you returned to us. If there is something specific you would like instead, we will have a teleport delivery from Iadara within the week, and can requisition your reward along with it instead."
  115. [16:55] <@Kilarra> Eviana frowns a bit, "That... remains to be seen. We shall have a grand dinner tonight, during which you can tell us of what you experienced inside that shadowy plane. After that, we can begin using the resources we have reclaimed to find out more about our dark kin."
  116. [16:55] <@Kilarra> Kjell notes, "You should take this," he offers her the gemstone. "It is the key to the shadow portal, and will likely be invaluable for your research, just as it was presumably for their purposes."
  117. [16:56] <@Kilarra> Eviana nods, "Thank you. We shall see that it is put to good use, at least until we can cleanse the corruption from the original gate."
  118. [16:57] * Kilarra adds in, "You might have to check it out for yourself if you want to get the full benefit of what's in there. We kinda skipped a lot of what could have been seen in favour of trying to rescue these two, and get out alive." She motions to the elves, who are now being tended by a pair of clerics.
  119. [16:58] <@Kilarra> Eviana smiles, "I see. Well, if you have any matters, such as your friend's raising, to tend to, we will not liekly be going anywhere for a while. Between research and divinations, we have much to learn yet."
  120. [16:59] <@Kilarra> Shalelu stands up, looking to Eviana, "Well, you mentioned a feast, yes? Kaerishiel and I are quite starving thanks to the lack of hospitality on the part of our captors."
  121. [16:59] <@Kilarra> Eviana nods and signals around the group of elves. They begin moving to return to the camp, the day won.
  122. [16:59] <@Kilarra> Kjell asks Eviana curiously, "How long were we gone? I couldn't be sure of the passage of time within that demiplane."
  123. [17:00] <@Kilarra> Shalelu and Kaerishiel can stand on their own now, leaving Aluthyra free for Kilarra to stick next to
  124. [17:00] * Aluthyra nods. "Kjell, what do you think? Rest and then return to the temple for resurrection? Assuming Calistria does not give Kilarra the spells herself."
  125. [17:01] * Kilarra does just that, wraping her tail around the woman's waist while the walked. "A feast sounds great." She then whispers to ALuthyra, "If we have time afterwards, we'll see about giving you a -special- reward." She smirks suggestively.
  126. [17:01] <@Kilarra> Kjell nods, "Aye, that sounds good. A feast, a rest, and the return of our comrade. We can worry about rewards once the celebrations are seen to."
  127. [17:02] <@Kilarra> Eviana notes, "You were gone the better part of the day, but it is not yet nightfall."
  128. [17:02] * Aluthyra blushes, smiling. "Well then... that sounds like a worthy evening."
  129. [17:06] <@Kilarra> The elven assault on the city, and the drow's loss of their stronghold has broken the ranks of the enemy, allowing the company of elves, along with the party, to return to their camp without incident. Once there, they immediatley begin setting up the main tent for a large banquet. Many of the elves are still tending to the dead and wounded, but spirits are hgih all around as the battle for Celwynvian, for the large part, was over.
  130. [17:06] <@Kilarra> Kjell brings out the head of Razorhorn and uses it as a centerpiece to the banquet table, intending to tell the tale of his and Nolveniss' defeat over dinner.
  131. [17:07] * Kilarra doesn't leave Aluthyra's side once, often pulling her aside for kisses and light groping while the meal preparations went on.
  132. [17:08] * Aluthyra doesn't mind, rather used to, and desiring, Kilarra's attentions at this point. She makes sure to stick close, enjoying the company.
  133. [17:10] <@Kilarra> Before Aluthyra and KIlarra can get too carried away, they are called to the banquet tent. There, the elves have pulled out all the stops, at least with what provisions they had. Grilled and steamed vegetables, various potato dishes, sweet breads, wines, and hearty broths are made freely available in as much portion as desired.
  134. [17:11] <@Kilarra> Kjell, inbetween bites of his meal, recounts the party's assault on the Academy of the Arts, making sure each of his companions gets their fair share of the credit, particularly in their own specific Exploits. His duel with Razorhorn, Kilarra's banishing of the mighty Vrock, Aluthyra's sniping of the invisible wizard/
  135. [17:13] * Aluthyra chuckles. Still no meats. She doesn't mind, but smiles as she remembers the other members of her party complaining. She listens to Kjell, eating a small portion of steamed vegetables, choosing not to boast or tell stories herself.
  136. [17:14] * Aluthyra has a single glass of wine, deeming that only one would not hurt, especially in such a celebration.
  137. [17:15] <@Kilarra> The Party is seated next to Eviana as the honoured guests of the banquet, given their heroic defeat of key enemies. Surprisingly, even Kaerishiel seems almost friendly. Shalelu is very enthralled with the tale of Razorhorn's defeat. The other elves ask multitudes of questions throughout, although some of them the party is unable to answer for lack of having witnessed certain things within the Echo.
  138. [17:17] * Kilarra avoids stuffing herself, not wanting to feel bloated when she finally got some quality time with Aluthyra, but eats a fair share. While sitting next to Aluthyra, she constantly sends winks and smirks at the woman while using her tail and hooves to playfully bat the woman's feet.
  139. [17:17] * Aluthyra smirks, rubbing her feet against Kilarra's hooves in response, knowing how ticklish they are.
  140. [17:19] * Kilarra giggles a bit, "You're just asking for it now."
  141. [17:19] * Aluthyra shrugs innocently.
  142. [17:21] * Kilarra licks her lips, then gets back to finishing her meal
  143. [17:21] <@Kilarra> Kjell feels a little jealous of the two, and hopes for a chance to visit Samaritha when they go to get Tognik raised.
  144. [17:32] * Kilarra gets up, not wanting to wait any longer, and beckons for Aluthyra to follow.
  145. [17:33] * Aluthyra stands, following quickly after Kilarra.
  146. [17:33] <@Kilarra> Kjell chuckles and waves them off, returning to his storytelling.
  147. [17:33] * Kilarra reaches the tent and slips inside, immediately starting to disrobe.
  148. [17:34] * Aluthyra does as well, smiling... tiredly. It's been an exhausting day. She yawns.
  149. [17:35] * Kilarra blinks when she hears Aluthyra yawn, then yawns herself. She had just finished stripping down to her silk undergarments. "Aw, c'mon," she groans to herself, "We got lit on fire so many times today; we deserve this!"
  150. [17:36] * Aluthyra sighs. "Maybe... it is for the best. We can rest, then have all the more fun."
  151. [17:37] * Kilarra groans a bit, "I guess... damnit. Can you at least finish undressing?" She suggests coyly, stifling another yawn as she removed her yellow silks.
  152. [17:40] * Kilarra knows that Aluthyra has, at least at a glance, seen her in her skin before, but she wanted to savour the chance to see her unclothed for the first time.
  153. [17:42] * Aluthyra does so, removing her undergarments. Just as trim and fit as she looks with clothes on, she is no different undressed. Her breasts are perky, but slightly smaller than Kilarra's, and her maidenhood is clean shaven. She blushes, turning slightly in embarrassment.
  154. [17:45] * Kilarra licks her lips a bit at the neat, tidy, and altogether incredibly sexy appearance of the aasimar. "C'mere," she beckons with a finger, motioning for Aluthyra to lay beside her at least. Kilarra herself has a small patch of fuzz above her crotch, of similar colour to the fur above her hooves.
  155. [17:46] * Aluthyra follows the beckon, laying down next to Kilarra. She chuckles. "I am... rather looking forward to it... but I suppose sleep is needed."
  156. [17:47] * Kilarra nods and nests her head between the taller woman's breats, smiling and breathing in the scent of them, and her. She really really wants to satisfy a certain moistness, but can't seem to summon the energy. She sighs, pressing into Aluthyra a bit, the curve of her horns feeling slightly cool to the touch.
  157. [17:50] * Aluthyra smiles, placing on hand behind Kilarra's head and keeping her close. The other arm wraps around Kilarra's back as she presses their bodies together. Her breathing steadies, felt as Aluthyra presses her stomach to the tiefling's and she closes her eyes, beginning to fall asleep in their embrace.
  158. [17:51] * Kilarra smiles contentedly. This wasn't the action she had been hoping for, but for reasons entirely different (and admittedly, a little foreign to her), it was just as satisfying. She falls asleep listening to Aluthyra's strong, steady heartbeat.
  159. [17:52] <@Kilarra> Kjell heads to bed when the festivities die down, the elves still working virtually around the clock. He keeps Tognik's body in his tent so as to not mix it in with the elven dead, as well as to have it ready for the raise.
  160. [17:54] * Kilarra awakes the following morning and smiles, pleased that the first thing she sees in the morning is Aluthyra's bare chest. She playfully licks one of the nipples, then strokes Aluthyra's back, trying to rouse her.
  161. [17:55] * Kilarra feels a bit of a rush, noticing that ALuthyra did indeed taste as sweet and she smelled. She was tempted to do other things, but knew Kjell would likely interrupt them soon.
  162. [17:56] * Aluthyra wakes with a slight moan and a raise of her eyebrow. She blushes. "Kilarra, did you...?"
  163. [17:59] * Kilarra giggles mischeviously, "Just a taste, and just the chest. I want you to be fully awake when I go to work on the rest of you." She sits up, "First things first though, we've got a gnome to raise, and I want to see if Calistria has gifted me with some extra power. I feel lucky." She doesn't bother waiting for ALuthyra to leave, spreading her legs and letting her fingers get to work. She wonders for a moment if Aluthyra had ever pla
  164. [17:59] * Kilarra wonders for a moment if Aluthyra had ever played with herself, since she was still a virgin by her own admission.
  165. [18:00] * Aluthyra blushes, waiting for a moment before dressing and waiting outside of the tent.
  166. [18:01] * Kilarra makes a mental note to indluge that curiosity, and has no modesty for today's morning prayers. Aluthyra's name does come up a couple times as she fantasizes about the taste and feel and smell of the other woman.
  167. [18:01] <@Kilarra> Kjell steps out of his tent, his and Nolveniss' spellbooks in hand. "I take it your eveneing together was... pleasant?" He glances at the tent for a moment, but ignores the sound coming from within.
  168. [18:02] * Aluthyra looks down, shuffling her feet. "We rested, that is it." She blushes, hearing her own name called out. "We were quite tired, but... perhaps another night."
  169. [18:05] <@Kilarra> Kjell chuckles, "Just as well. If you have to wait until we return to Riddleport, I won't feel quite so jealous." He then goes to find a mat to sit on and study his spellbook, referencing Nolveniss' as well to see if there was anything he could use that he didn't already know
  170. [18:07] * Aluthyra smiles lightly, waiting for each to finish their preparation.
  171. [18:11] * Kilarra pops out of the tent, dressed in her clerical vestements. She's smiling as she holds up the sachel of Diamond Dust, "Guess who's lucky day it is?"
  172. [18:12] * Aluthyra smiles. "You are able to cast the spell?"
  173. [18:13] * Kilarra nods, "Yup." She glances to Kjell's tent, "Which means we won't have to cart a decaying corpse all the way back to Riddleport." She slips into the tent, unwrapping Tognik's body and opening the bag of Diamond Dust. "I'll be done in about ten minutes," she notes, then begins to cast the spell.
  174. [18:14] * Kilarra also calls out, "You're still paying for this by the way, we're just lucky I happened to pick this up while we're out here."
  175. [18:14] <@Kilarra> Kjell nods, "I thank you quite sincerely nonetheless."
  176. [18:16] * Kilarra takes the ten minutes to cast Raise Dead on Tognik, and waits to see if he responds. He could always elect to remain dead, although she figured he wouldn't She just hoped he recognized her as the one raising him.
  177. [18:22] <Aluthyra> Tognik wakes with a jump, surprised that he was given the chance at life. He opens his eyes, landing on Kilarra. "Did... we win?" he asks, hopeful, and tiredly.
  178. [18:24] * Kilarra chuckles a bit, "We did in fact." She then spends a few minutes reorienting him; telling him where he is, what happened, and how she had been able to bring him back.
  179. [18:24] * Kilarra smirks, "Your cadaver wasn't even cold yet, and you can thank Kjell. He's footing the bill."
  180. [18:24] <Aluthyra> Tognik smiles. "A dragon, huh? Shame I didn't get to see it alive... but, he still has the head?"
  181. [18:24] <Aluthyra> Tognik nods. "I'll thank him, to be sure..."
  182. [18:26] * Kilarra nods, "Indeed. He wanted it especially to show off to you."
  183. [18:27] <@Kilarra> Kjell pokes his head in when he hears Tognik's voice, "Welcome back little friend. How are you feeling?"
  184. [18:27] * Kilarra notes quickly to Tognik, "Returning from the dead is a pretty taxing experience, so it's perfectly normal if you feel exhausted or drained. As well, your body has technically not eaten or drank anything for about a day."
  185. [18:28] <Aluthyra> Tognik smiles lightly. "Tired. But... well." He nods. "Thank you, for everything..." He sighs. "Admittedly, Kjell, I'm not sure if I'm suited to continue with all of this... excitement with the drow, if anything is left. It might be... time-- To settle."
  186. [18:30] <@Kilarra> Kjell smiles, "If you're looking for less hazardous work, perhaps you should stay with the elves. They intend to conduct a fair amount of research into the history of this city, as well as what the drow were doing here. I'm certain your knowledge and skills would be quite useful to them, especially now that the actual war is over."
  187. [18:31] * Kilarra adds in, "Plus, I did come prepared today with a full restoration if you want to pay for the diamond dust. It should take away most, if not all, the effects of your death and revival."
  188. [18:31] * Tognik hums. "Yes... that, that seems like a reasonable option." He smiles. "I think I will do that." Tognik nods to Kilarra. "I can pay for that... and the dust. How much would it be?"
  189. [18:32] <Aluthyra> Tognik adds, "If Kjell already payed, I'm paying him back."
  190. [18:32] * Aluthyra peeks in as well, smiling at seeming him alive and well.
  191. [18:35] * Kilarra shakes her head, "I came with it prepared, and I've got other... benefits coming my way, so just a thousand to replace the Diamond Dust when I go shopping."
  192. [18:35] <@Kilarra> Kjell notes to Tognik, "I did still owe you twenty-five hundred gold from the enchanting of my Noqual sword. Perhaps we should simply call it even."
  193. [18:36] <Aluthyra> Tognik nods to Kjell. "We'll call it even." He throws Kilarra his Handy Haversack, after removing some items from it, and to his backpack. "Keep it."
  194. [18:37] <@Kilarra> Kilarra blinks, then chuckles, "Alright, sounds good." She pulls out the rest of her diamond dust and begins sprinkling it over Tognik, restoring his health.
