Personality(go in depth): yewon is the type of girl that's up for anything and will do it if she's interested enough. boys may hang around her because she's pretty but it's mostly because she can be quite tomboyish and is able to relate to them unlike other girls. this may mean that she's often friendzoned by the few that she's actually had a crush on because of her ability to just get along with guys. she's usually seen laughing, making jokes and teasing her friends and is usually laid-back. there are times when she might be quite brash especially when she's being teased (which happens very rarely) or get defensive if you get her riled up. she's feircely loyal and will defend the people that she cares about and will not stop until the person that's being mean to the person she cares about stops. she may seem as though nothing can scare her her because of her bold and energetic personality but she can be quite sensitive however she prefers to keep that side of her quite private. she's the type of person that prefers to be around people and gets along with anyone and always has a great energy around her but she's not quite sure what to do about love whether she's the one receiving it or wanting to give it.

Background: yewon was born as the youngest child of her family and also the only daughter to a loving biracial couple. despite what others would think, she wasn't treated like a princess but more of like one of the boys. of course this didn't mean that she didn't wear any dresses or play with any dolls but she preferred to do more active stuff than that like running around or playing sport. she loved the feeling of her blood pumping through her veins when she ran around. she did everything that her brother's did, as they were her role models, including the sports they did. her family was especially close with their next door neighbour as they had children that were in similar ages. she became close to the youngest son and they would always be around each other. but when they were around the age of 6 years old, yewon's family moved to japan to take care of her grandfather on her mother's side and the two lost contact. while in japan she got into kendo which she absolutely loves and have become a huge part of her life and this only furthered the tomboyish image that she's had. after her grandfather died, her family had no reason anymore to stay in japan and so they moved back to korea and into their old neighbourhood and house and she started her 2nd year of high school there.

How you guys meet (bonus points if you make a little short story): the two were already childhood friends but had lost contact with each other. when yewon moved back to korea, she had hoped to see her old friend but wasn't given the chance to. she had thought that she saw him when she left the house and someone that had come out of next door's that had resembled her old friend. she ran up to him and hugged him from the neck but he just stared at her as if she was some mad woman. yewon knew straight away that it was him, he had grown up to become more manly but it was still him but he didn't seem to recognise her at all and so he walked straight past her as if the whole scenario didn't happen at all. yewon was shocked at how he didn't acknowledge her at all but also at how her heart seemed to beating so fast after making contact with him. surprisingly when she gets introduced to her class, she's in the same class as him but he's not paying attention and is sitting at the back of the room with his earphones in and staring outside the window. she was placed next to him and had to share with her his stuff but he didn't seem to say anything at all. it was then that yewon decided that she'd have to restart their whole relationship again as he seemed to not recognise her at all. so they surprisingly became friends from then on and until now in the 3rd year as he's usually withdrawn away from the others and she was usually around people. he even lets her just sit somewhere nearby while he's swimming when he doesn't usually like having people there when he did
