  1. I’m always coming up with ideas for like conceptual comedy. I’m always looking to try out new things, you know? I had the idea recently to do comedic parodies of famous speeches; unfortunately the only speech I’ve ever heard is the MLK “I have a dream” speech and I ended up pissing a lot of people off when I did my parody on stage one night. Especially since I got his speech confused with the Dr. Seuss book about the star-belly sneeches. It was an allegory for racism, so it was close enough. I think my conceptual comedy is always just better in my head than in practice. For a while now I’ve played with the idea of going on tour as Lisa Lampooneli and doing Lisa Lampaneli’s acts verbatim. Just me, on stage, talking about how many black dudes rail me. Lisa Lampaneli’s whole thing is to try to make racism funny; but that’s not a possible feat. Racism isn’t funny. If racism is funny, then Larry the Cable Guy is a comedian, rather than just some random, dirty Prilosec spokesperson.

  3. I wish the unknown comic wasn’t already a thing, because I have a lot of acne as of late and I would love an excuse to cover my face with a paper bag. Maybe I should just become a bank robber.
