- Q: Why hoverless?
- A: It's pretty much just a harder version of any%, I think of it as (sort-of) Kaizo sms. Also it has some really cool tech that you never see in other categories!
- Q: What does hoverless any% mean?
- A: It means beating the game as 0 as possible without using the hover nozzle.
- Q. Can you use the other nozzles?
- A: Yes, you can use any nozzle that isn't the hover nozzle.
- Q: Can you do Gelato Skip?
- A: Yes, but it requires yoshi who doesn't appear until Gelato 6, so it only skips that level.
- Q: Is 100% possible?
- A: No, the 4 blue coins in the underwater area where you fight the eel are impossible to get. Max% hoverless gets 119 shines and 6 blue coins.
- Q: Why do you reset the console after Gelato 5/Pinna 7?
- A: I save and reset the console as a savewarp to get to the center of Delfino faster, bringing me closer to Shadow Mario with the Yoshi egg.
- Q: Can you do Honey Skip?
- A: Technically yes but it's frame and pixel perfect, so no.
- Q: How do you do the eel hoverless? :o :o :o
- A: Wait and see.
