  53. A two-hander action comedy in the vein of Midnight Run (1988), about an ex-F.B.I. Agent (Tommy Lee Jones) and an ex-mob lawyer in the Witness Protection Program (Morgan Freeman) having to put aside their petty rivalry on the golf course to fend off a mob hit.
  54. I had high hopes for this movie, they didn&#39;t last very long. It&#39;s almost interesting when it starts out but it takes a long time to get anywhere. I have a lot of respect for most these actors but I fear some of them are way past their prime. When Tommy Lee Jones walks he looks like he&#39;s in terrible pain, I get it, I have joint pain from arthritis to but it&#39;s distracting to see on the screen. <br/><br/>The writing is very unrealistic, the characters are so fake. What is Renee Russo doing in this movie? She&#39;s too young to be hanging out with these old farts. It&#39;s sad with all the talent hired on to do this film they didn&#39;t have better material to work with. The writing is just plain bad. Obviously most of these actors just did this for a paycheck, they put their time and went home. There is nothing special about this movie. To be honest, I wouldn&#39;t even watch it on broadcast TV it was so disappointing.
  55. . . . is a pure Geezerpaloosa, through and through. For those folks into this sort of thing (mostly the geriatric crowd born in the 1800s and 1900s), JUST GETTING STARTED could just as easily be tagged as &quot;Hope springs Eternal.&quot; Set and filmed in a Palm Springs Old Fogey Compound where no one wears Depends and Ancient Farts only croak having sex, JUST GETTING STARTED comes off as a Baby Boomer Fantasy where Millennials only exist as Go-Fers to their Extreme Elders, or ineffectual codger assassins. No one has a care in their head that Red Commie KGB Chief Vlad &quot;The Mad Russian&quot; Putin and his Pedophiliac Repug Party Henchpeople are busy pulling out from under them the rugs of Social Security, Medicare, Government-insured Pensions, Bank Accounts, and Annuities as they &quot;party&quot; in Slow So-Slow Motion. One gets the sense that when the Kremlin sends in the Caterpillars to bulldoze them into ditches, these giddily giggling geezers will be too far gone to even notice.
