[20:44] Thorn Meztin exclaims, "I'm ready!"
[20:44] Thorn Meztin says, "-With whatever, really."
[20:44] Katrin Weiss says, "Great! C'mon. We'll move into the workshop."
[20:47] And then she leads them right into her workspace. All neat, tidy, if a little dusted with coal. There was truly not getting it out in all her labors.

She produces the bright, shining crystal from her pockets and sets it right onto a cleared space on the great wooden table.

"So this crystal has a lotta' potential. Right? I've seen stuff before like this. Takes on the element of whatever it attunes to. Gorgeous stuff.

But, I think bein' that we got a master of runes here-" she reaches over, thumping Thorn on the back. "Myself, and you, Bang, a potent lightnin' magi?

I think we can get this thing chock full of the stuff.

Sweetheart. Think you can help me draw up some good runes, some nice circles, to funnel all we can into this bad boy?

Then you and him, Bang, you'll do your literal magic. How's that sound?"

[20:51] They have entered the workshop! Now the real magic happens! The Kumo boy readies himself. He was about to instantly begin the shocking process!

...however.

He heard Katrin speak, stopping him in his tracks! "--Oh. I was a second away from giving his thing seven million volts! Ahaha!" He is... Too eager. "I don't really know how this stuff works.

I guess before I uh, get to shockin' an' stuff I should probably wait for those runes." With that said he takes a step back, awaiting for the runework to be applied. His fingertips already brimming with electricity! He is very excited.

[20:59] A hand lifted to scratch at the Ookami's cheek, he listened in well and even took the time to marvel at the gem that Bang had provided for use in weapons! The man smirked, "I wouldn't call myself a 'master of runes'..." He waved a hand around in the air, "I just like them! After performing so many over the decades.. Y'learn to have an appreciation for something." While not a total lie- It was less than half of his supposed interest in runeweaving.

"Pfft. Thank the spirits you didn't do anything to fierce just yet." What was tasked of him? Not much of a challenge- While Thorn was more knowledgeable in runework that involved the process of spatial displacement... He had already learned a bit or more of what it would take to transfer proper elemental power- Attunement. "Let's get to work!"

With those words said, a finger rose into the air... A thin, miniscule dot would surface at about his fingertip as he started marching towards the gem. "I suggest! After this? Funnel it one bit at a time- So you don't end up breaking the poor thing but then again... It's your gem. Do what you gotta- And make it fun."

But with all that said, he'd finally get to work- Falling into a point of concentration, his eyes squint as he begins etching clear runes into the air before inevitably lowering the pip of mana onto the gem. Concentric circles, a layering method was added... Akin to the runes he would use for Wayfinding- Only destined to sap what was released into it.

[21:02] "Just like 'em. You're a rune nerd. Just cop to it," she says with a wide, golden grin.

"And it probably wouldn't have been the end of the world...probably. But we wanna get as much juice out of this as we can, right?"

The Ookami, in addition to being a fierce ally and partner worth adoration, was also a treat to work with, as she'd found.

She looks to the center rune he's drawing on the gem, whispers a few words to him in query, in consultation to ensure that her work would not interfere with the sigils on his gem.

Then, with the intent in mind to funnel in as much power, by degrees and incrementally, she starts to draw outlying runes on the table around the stone itself with a piece of charcoal. Raw mana etching was not quite her style for most things.

Runes upon runes upon runes.

[21:06] Katrin glances over to the Ookami, after giving him a few hushed words and a nudge of her elbow.

[21:08] Thorn Meztin exclaims, "I sure as hel think so...!"
[21:13] Oh yea!

It's his que! Left foot forward, right foot back. Right foot forward, left foot back. Repeat, repeat, repeat. The Kumo boy was moving at a rapid pace, building up electricity with every second. His breathing became labored as more mana went into this process.

It was taxing, and yet he kept at it. More energy building as his hair began to frizz from the static in the air. His body almost untouchable as he'd made himself a literal shock trap.

Hands go out.

'I sure as hel think so...!'

That was all he needed to hear. Bolts of lightning tear out of his fingertips slamming into the gem, The Kumo boy is stunned from the amount of force and power he was able to create as he began dumping more volts into the gem. His entire reserves were put into making this gem the best lightning material he could make it!

After prolonged shocking Ban's arms went limp. He was like a noodle. He had barely any mana to spare. He would promptly slump over on to the table. Tired as hell! It was quite the display!

[21:26] Thorn stood tall, watching the fireworks. With the go ahead, all that was needed was a surge of lightning, the crackle of electricity filled the air of the room- A serene smile filled the man's face as he began to nod and nod, excitedly- Enthusiastically. He believed there would be something more needed- Or really, the Meztin wanted to try and help. A glove of his had been slipped on- Already there was a worrying amount of static electricity building up! The magnetic poles would shift and turn some of the room's items, pushing and pulling away at tools and armor alike. "Just a bit more for you!! You deserve only the best, pal."

With a clenched fist, the man applied venerable amounts of his own mana!! Not nearly as much as Bang had- He didn't want to seek any damage to the precious emerald gem, but with each passing moment... The latent powers of thunder and lightning would rumble within- As if a scattered thunderstorms now lied within.

The Heart of the Storm began to beat- As if granted a living heart. The garishly crimson gloves would slip off soon enough.

"Sheesh...!!" He lets out a deep sigh in the same utterance. "Y'did real good, pal. Real, real good." He chuckled softly, resting his eyes a bit.
