  1. NV_Modlist/
  2. Updated as of: 2018-12-10
  3.
  4. At the very minimum, install section 0 and you're good to go.
  5. After section 0, it's personal preference. Just get what seems interesting.
  6. If this will be your first playthrough, consider skipping section 6 (Gameplay stuff) partially or entirely.
  7.
  8. Apply section by section and test the game to see if everything works well.
  9. I run this list on Linux with Wine. Obviously, it should also run on Windows.
  10.
  11. Be sure to check out some recommended INI edits at the bottom of this list!
  12. (*) <- this means one of those ini edits below is required for the mod to work

  115. │   ├── Asurah Reanimation Pack - No Headbob Fix
  116. │   If you're playing for the first time or just want vanilla, you might want to skip the coming section.
  117. │   HOWEVER,
  118. |   some features from Solid Project may still be appealing to you, such as the sprinting that costs AP to use.
  119. |   Just make sure Asurah overwrites Solid Project, as it improves its animations too.
  120. │   These gameplay changes add features and difficulty to the game. I base mine around JSawyer Ultimate Edition
  121. │   All of these go very well with the in-built Hardcore mode which you can turn on before exiting Doc's house.

  141. │   ├── Mojave Wildlife - Vanilla Version
  142. │   ├── No Combat Music
  143. │   ├── No Skill Tags (NVSE) (redone) <- Removes tags from dialogue, so you roleplay and not just auto pick [SPEECH]

  145. │   ├── Pickpocket Overhaul XP Edition
  146.         Return To Sierra Madre (letgo)

  197. NV_iniEdits/
  198.
  199. Make sure you make a BACKUP of your current INI files!
  200.
  201. Fallout_default.ini creates Fallout.ini and FalloutPrefs.ini if they don't exist at launch
  202. If they already exist, then (as far as I understand it) editing the default.ini will do nothing
  203.
  204. All of the following lines can go either in Fallout.ini or Fallout_default.ini if the former doesn't exist
  205.
  206. SMainMenuMovieIntro = 0         (Skip the intro logos)
  207.
  208. fForegroundMouseMult = 0        (Disable Mouse Acceleration)
  209. fForegroundMouseAccelBase = 0
  210. fForegroundMouseAccelTop = 0
  211. fForegroundMouseBase = 0
  212. bBackground Mouse = 1
  213.
  214. bUseThreadedAI = 1              (Performance Gainz)
  215. iNumHWThreads = 2
  216. bUseThreadedBlood = 1
  217. bUseThreadedMorpher = 1
  218. bUseThreadedTempEffects = 1
  219. bUseThreadedParticleSystem = 1
  220. bUseMultiThreadedFaceGen = 1
  221. bUseMultiThreadedTrees = 1
  222. iPreloadSizeLimit = 104857600
  223. bFull Screen = 1
  224.
  225. If using NVCE, add this
  226.
  227. bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles = 1
  228.
  229. If using DarN, go to the [Fonts] section of Fallout.ini, replace with this:
  230.
  231. sFontFile_1=Textures\Fonts\DarN_FranKleinBold_14.fnt
  232. sFontFile_2=Textures\Fonts\DarN_FranKleinBold_16.fnt
  233. sFontFile_3=Textures\Fonts\Glow_Monofonto_Medium.fnt
  234. sFontFile_4=Textures\Fonts\DarN_Sui_Generis_Otl_10.fnt
  235. sFontFile_5=Textures\Fonts\Fixedsys_Comp_uniform_width.fnt
  236. sFontFile_6=Textures\Fonts\DarN_Sui_Generis_Otl_13.fnt
  237. sFontFile_7=Textures\Fonts\DarN_Libel_Suit_Otl_24.fnt
  238. sFontFile_8=Textures\Fonts\Glow_Futura_Caps_Large.fnt
  239. sFontFile_9=Textures\Fonts\NVFont_Test.fnt
  240.
  241. If using "2 Hotkey Restored", edit your [Controls] in FalloutPrefs.ini to:
  242.
  243. Hotkey1=0002FFFF
  244. Ammo Swap=0026FF01
  245. Hotkey3=0003FFFF
  246. Hotkey4=0004FFFF
  247. Hotkey5=0005FFFF
  248. Hotkey6=0006FFFF
  249. Hotkey7=0007FFFF
  250. Hotkey8=0008FFFF
  251.
  252. Then go into the in-game settings to change Ammo Swap to whatever you want (I chose L)
