Background: Sophie was born in Osaka, Japan, but she lived there for only a year before moving to Australia, where her mother was originally from. Her older brother, Lucas, was three then.
She had started to learn rap from age 12, and her family supported it fully. They were proud of her, and wanted her to pursue her dream. She was in Produce 42 but got eliminated later on. That didn’t discourage her, so she went on to debut in Universe.
